I bought this to extend play time on the VR, and it worked a treat. But not only did it extend game time, the headset strap and counterbalance also made the VR headset a lot more comfortable to wear.
I had one warranty question for the supplier, and I got a prompt clear reply, would definitely use again.
This is comfortable to wear and the battery adds a good few hours so thats great, a good option if thats what youre looking fo
A necessity for anyone that wants to play more than 2hrs of gaming. Do your research and this product will come up 2nd on most lists directly behind the Official Occulus elite headstrap. What I liked was the fact this was nearly half the price of the official elite head strap.
It’s easy to install, simple snap on and adjust and away you go.
You can charge this and the headset at the same time which is great, no need to remember to do both. Once you connect the official Occulus charger to the base of the strap just below the battrey you press the battrey button once and both the battrey headset and occulus lights will indicate 5hat both are charging. If you wish to just charge the battrey strap you just press the button once. Instructions are simple to follow so shouldn’t be any issues.
The strap is great balance for the headset and the strap fits children to adults with the adjustable wheel at the back. Battrey life is great, extends the play time considerably allowing a good night’s gaming. Overall would recommend this product given its price and the fact you get great battrey life and a Comfortable fit.
We really do find this head strap for the VR just brilliant!
We would play on our Oculus Quest VR and not long after find that the battery power was nearly out of juice, with this it gets us more play time with its add on battery pack and makes gaming on the VR a lot more comfortable with the head strap. I’d also like to add that it is now easier than ever to fit each different user as it is fully adjustable with just a few easy clicks and turns of a button and it’s all there ready and comfortable.
It really makes a huge difference to gaming on the VR and I would go as far to say that whoever owns a Oculus Quest 2 VR needs to own one of these!
10/10 from us.
after receiving a defective product the support team were bang on replacing it with out any fuss! I have my new strap and it works perfectly, it’s also the correct weight to counter balance the actual headset so no more neck strain.
This InLiwave head strap for Oculus Quest 2 has a built-in rechargeable battery that offers extended playing hours.
The strap has a built-in 6000mAh rechargeable battery pack that could last for up to 4 hours, but it is still usable even if it is charging. It is made of a high-quality ABS and PC material, making it more durable as it passed the 20000+ bend tests. The straps have foam inside, and the outer layer is covered with perforated leather, which is soft, breathable, and can reduce stress. Moreover, its side strap can be adjusted by rotating the rear swivel wheel, while the length of the top strap can be adjusted by the Velcro on the top.
Upon checking the product, it seems well-manufactured and was built to last. The strap can be adjusted, so you can freely adjust it based on your needs. I gave this to my son and he said it’s very comfortable to wear even though it’s a bit heavy due to its battery, which I agree with since I compared this to the other one that I have from the other brand. There’s nothing special about its overall look, but when it comes to its usability, it works with kids, teens, and adults since it is adjustable.
In my conclusion, this is a great Oculus Quest 2 head strap. However, this one is significantly more expensive than the other one I’ve tried, possibly due to its built-in battery. Nonetheless, it is still recommended given its good performance and quality.
I have been playing with this all afternoon and I would say a good estimate for me is around the 3.5-hour extra time from the battery which is the best I have tested yet, it is comfortable on another level, much better than my OEM eleite strap and adjustability is great as it can fit both my 6-year-old and myself so great for family use too, all in all, one of the best I have tested for sure.
I would prefer this over the elite strap with battery from meta because the wire just gets everywhere and it dangles off when the battery is out. This is a more simple and minimal design that just needs plugging into the usb c port and It doesn’t even come wired, would prefer this, definitely. You are more obliged to buy the elite strap with battery from meta which is over 100, but I just wanted to buy this and not be strap and it comes out cheaper. This gave me around 1.5hrs of heavy gameplay, wish it could last longer but still would recommend.
The head strap comes with a built in 6000mAh battery pack, which should get you around an extra four hours playtime.
It is solid and well made, the wheel at the back works well and does not move on its own at all.
My main problem is that I have owned a BOBOVR since I bought my Quest 2, and I have recently acquired the BOBOVR M2 Plus. I find the BOBOVR more comfortable, the cup at the back of the headset does not have any padding, whereas the BOBOVR one does. The back of the BOBOVR can also just lift up as it is on hinges, but the InLiwave can not as it is all one piece and you have to loosen the dial to take it off.
If you are used to the standard Quest 2 head strap, you will find this much more comfortable, but if you have used a BOBOVR, I think you will miss the hinges and extra comfort.
Don’t get me wrong, this is a fantastic head strap and I love the built in battery, but for me the BOBOVR M2 Plus is superior, although it will cost you 30 more than this with an included battery.
What a brilliant elite strap this is for the Oculus Quest 2! it is so user friendly, with long lasting battery life (6000mAh!!) and exceptional comfort. I have been using it frequently for the last month and couldn’t be happier!
It is easy to install, the head strap was super easy to assemble and install on my Quest 2. I’ve not changed the head strap on my Quest 2 myself before, and was a little worried but it was really easy.
It is very comfortable, the head strap is very comfortable, the support piece at the back seemed well shaped, and the cushioning at the back of the head strap means it sits well with no discomfort. I find it much more comfortable that the original elastic head strap and the Oculus elite head strap. I can play for hours with no discomfort.
It is also easy to adjust, the head strap is easily adjustable with hinged pieces at either side and a turning adjuster at the back.
Finally, it is secure and safe to use, playing movement intensive games a sturdy and secure head strap is a must, and I feel that the InLiwave head strap certainly fits that description. Once on I did not have to adjust and reposition my headset at all, even after active movement. The build quality and material quality seem high and even the colour of the head strap matches perfectly with the Quest 2.
Overall, very happy with this VR Oculus Quest 2 head strap. 5 stars!
This strap has an intuitive feel to it, And i was able to quickly put it together and use it within minutes. The strap is bendy and has an upgraded design that’s not on the original, Which makes it much more comfortable to wear for long periods of time without feeling that pinching strain on the sides of my head. The material is breathable, Which i appreciate since the days are very hot lately.
Overall, The strap and battery pack seems quite reliable and so far has not shown any issues with over use or cheap parts. The 6000mAh battery lasts a good amount of time, Giving me plenty of gameplay before needing a juice up.
