We bought this as a way to help us dry cloths.
It does that great and draws a lot of water from the room and does it fast.
It is also great at keeping the room warm and dry.
This device is not noisy but not that light to carry.
We would strongly recommend it.
I purchased this dehumidifier as I had condensation building in my utility room from drying clothes over the winter months. I was amazed just how much water it collected in a short space of time. I can now dry my clothes in a day rather than 3 or 4 days. I only use it for a few hours to take the wetness out of the clothes. As it also warms up the room, I can leave the clothes to continue drying whilst the dehumidifier is turned off.
It certainly isn’t silent when being used, but that isn’t an issue for me as I only use the dehumidifier when drying clothes and/or whilst cooking. It clears the steam that builds up in the kitchen when boiling rice etc in a matter of minutes. It is much more effective than using a very old extractor fan in my kitchen.
It is efficient to run as my electricity usage has hardly changed since purchasing the dehumidifier. I would highly recommend this item.
works a treat getting moisture out of room.. cold or hot ..
I have several of these brilliant dehumidifiers, keeps damp at bay & also dries laundry airing in the bathroom. Have gifted 2, invaluable item for the home, wouldn’t be without them.
I have a massive problem with dump and condensation in my old 90 years old renewable house and I gave up as nothing worked…until I bought this dehumidifier. Omg I am finally condensation free. The unit collects at least quite of water in 2-3hrs which is shocking as I never imagined there was so much dump in the house. Im so happy now I cant recommend it enough specially if u have alot of moisture. Also the noise isn’t bad at all don’t bother me i can sleep with it on too. Thank you .
It’s very good especially when drying clothes
It really takes out the moisture in the ai
When you put this on eco you can not hear it working, it is so quiet compared to others I’ve had. I put some tops on hangers above it and they took a couple of hours to dry, I guess if you need it on you might as well do your drying at the same time. The best thing about this unit is that it heats your room at the same time. If you pop the heating on and have this on you will definitely get a comfy feeling from this, the air in the room is tons times better than without. Very, very pleased.
If I’ve helped you let others know, it makes writing this so much more worthwhile.
It works, clears condensation and humidity, helps to dry clothes, works at low temperatures unlike some dehumidifiers and has an eco setting which quietly works in the background.
Only arrived today, but so far seems to be exactly what I was looking for in a de-humidifier.
Due to the high energy costs and cutting central heating back to a bare minimum – damp is now my biggest issue. Bought this to try to combat one of the biggest areas of damp at it’s source – the bathroom (shower).
The unit is a decent size and fits well enough into a space (see picture). Having run for only a couple of hours today on it’s lowest setting, it’s removed an impressive amount of water from the air. On eco mode running at low fan speed the power draw was around 350w.
One of the most important features, that I can confirm works as I’d hoped – is that if it’s turned off at the mains – when the power is turned back on, it will resume whatever operation it was doing before. This means you can plug the de-humidifier in via a smart plug, and have it set on a schedule – or controlled via other Smart Home triggers.
The air coming out of this feels warm and arid. Having it warm the room a bit as a side effect seems like the perfect feature for winter.
Noise level is good for what it is. Not sure I’d want to be sleeping in the same room as it though.
Doing a great job of keeping our 1920s house less damp. Love how quiet it is in the lowest fan speed.
I choose this model after careful searching because it had all the specifications I wanted, mainly low temperature ability and compactness. There is no adjustment for humidity but instead four programmes which cover a r/h between 40% to 60% plus three fan speeds. This should cover most needs. One niggle is that the water tank only holds 2 litres and will easily fill up over night. But it really works, so much better than the previous Ebac machine which was rather inadequate. With a larger bucket I would give this machine top marks as it is I would nevertheless recommend it to solve problem condensation and dampness.
I have a dehumidifier which I use from time to time to ensure a room is free from damp. It’s large, heavy and difficult to manoeuvre, although it works very well. I’ll be using this dehumidifier future. It’s absolutely brilliant. It’s very well made with clear and easy to access control buttons on top of the machine, it’s much lighter, but still very well made and it’s much easier to move around.
Although this only holds 2l of water before it needs to be emptied, that’s likely to be adequate for most domestic circumstances. It takes some hours to draw out that quantity of moisture unless you have windows open on a damp day; then it’ll also draw from outdoors!).
In use it’s extremely quiet and the fan speed has a number of settings. It has rounded corners, so it’s safe in the home and it’s unlikely to be tipped over. Very neat and efficient and competitive in price. Highly recommended.
This desiccant dehumidifier is very effective at reducing humidity! It is not the smallest nor is the lightest so manoeuvrability could be a problem for small or tight spaces, but for me, it is not an issue. It comes with a carry handle which makes moving it around easier and more convenient.
The build quality is good and the design is simple but functional. It comes with a sufficiently long power cord and a removable, good capacity water tank. It has a continuous drainage function as well as the use of the water tank to collect water. As expected, when the water tank is full the dehumidifier will stop working until the tank is emptied. The pipe to use for continuous drainage is included and is quite long.
The great thing about this dehumidifier is that it comes with a lot of functions and all of them are useful. With three fan speeds, four operating modes (turbo mode is best for laundry drying), swing, timer and even an Ioniser capability this thing has everything you need from a home-use dehumidifier. I have used it to dry laundry and it has reduced the drying time by half and the ioniser has helped to remove odour. It is very quiet on low modes and acceptable on Turbo.
The only small gripe is that this dehumidifier is best suited for cold weather due to the desiccant technology which means the air coming out of it is very warm, so much so that you do not need a heater if using this. This is great for the colder months but the flip side is that you don’t want to be in the same room as this dehumidifier when using it in the warmer months as the room temperature will be 10-12 degrees higher than normal.
All things considered, I am really happy with this dehumidifier. It is effective at dehumidifying the room, helps dry laundry quicker and removes the damp smell. For using it at home I can’t ask for more. Apart from being aware of its use in summer due to the desiccant technology and warming capability, I have no hesitation in recommending it.
Never had any dehumidifier before but so far it’s been perfect and could not be happier. Great company to deal with too if there’s any problems at all. Would buy from them again and easily recommend this unit. I got it on offer at Christmas for 150 so can’t complain at that either. Thank you Invento
Bought for use in a motorhome & needed one that would keep working at low temperatures, which a bit of research established is not always the case. This does so and is very effective.
This is our 4th dehumidifier. We have 4 outbuildings and they all do a Fantastic job. We highly recommend this product.
