Working as analyst got me a bit lazy and needed something to “play” with while I’m sitting in front of the computer all the time. Firstly I was afraid because it was very cheap. Fortunately it is very good quality and I even use it instead of fidget toys
Due to a recent diagnosis of arthritis I was advised to get something like the above for hands/fingers exercise.
The 2 products came as advertised and are both very robust, the elastic band will fit all hand sizes and is thick enough to not stretch or snap, the actual ‘clenched’? Is made of sturdy plastic and has a tough spring as well, the adjustable tensioning works as it should.
Overall a cheap but good quality product that has started to improve my hand strength and flexibility.
I can’t fault this product at all
Great hand strengthener for building forearm muscle and improving grip strength. The toggle for changing the tension is a little hard to turn but can be achieved to tailor for different strengths. The plastic seems to be taking a lot of load when the tension is maximum and does show a little bend but seems to be strong enough to avoid snapping. This will build the flexor muscle groups but not the back of the forearm. The rubber finger band is a welcome addition to also work on the back muscles of the forearm.
This saves my money and space as I only need one of these for the whole family!
Totally adjustable and great for kids and adults alike. The toughest setting is good for all but the strongest of Gents.
Easy to hold and Use. Good for hand and finger strength exercise. The amount of weight/pressure can be adjusted by turning the valve dial. Great compact size for keeping in a bag for those moments of quick hand exercise.
Good little hand exerciser. Has an adjustment wheel to change the tension. On the max its almost impossible to move but with practice I imagine it’s good for your hands.
These are definitely strengthening my grip. I’ve noticed with my pull ups that I’m not losing grip any more. Its easy to adjust to have a harder force or a weaker force. Easy to use.
This is a robust hand grip strengthener which is easy to use.
The setting is altered by turning a knob at the end of the gripper, this moves a large solid spring along a scale marked from 5-60 kg.
It also comes with some finger resistance bands. Which are threaded on to your fingers.
It has been good to have this handy whilst sitting down to watch the TV as it helps keeping your grip with a daily usage of it.
My son wanted this as he said he wanted to build some strength up in his hands. Unfortunately, he has smaller hands than me, so although he can manage to squeeze it, he can only do it when it is set to a lower resistance. I guess that’s the whole point of it though as once he keeps using it on a regular basis, he will be able to up the resistance thus building his strength. I tried it and found it easy to hold and use. My husband also tried it, but on the highest resistance and found it no problem at all.
What I like about something like this item, is you can just sit there watching TV on an evening and just do a few squeezes on each hand, so it’s not like you have to schedule a workout or anything. The elastic band one isn’t something I’d choose to use as it just hurts my fingers, but I suppose it’s a useful addition for anyone who can use it properly.
For the price, this is pretty good value, and I would be happy to recommend, 4/5
Really good quality and does its job as advertised. Really good value for money.
These hand and fingers strengtheners have been a great addition to my home gym and im always tryng to strengthen my grip and this can go from 5 to 60 kg of toughness and the finger strengtheners i found a bit to uncomfortable to use but for the price im still very happy with the product and would highly recommend the grip strengtheners
Really good little device it has adjustable strength until 60 kg very good and looks very sleek. I have been using it for two weeks and it is wonderful.
I got these for my husband who has recently caused some damage to a muscle or tendon in his elbow. We thought these might help with his rehabilitation. The grip strengthen can be adjusted to different difficulties and help in the hand where you squeeze it. Seems to be helping him
This hand grip has a rating from 22-132llbs ( 5-60kg) and you twist the knob above the grip to choose a setting ,a lower setting to start off would be the best one and watching the tv while doing the exercise as I tended to do more then . The finger band would be good to strengthen your grip or just to stretch your fingers out after a long day on a keyboard. The grip and the band are a good quality and should last a long time.
My friend enjoys using this as he finds it comfortable to hold and adjust the gripper to the workout level you want to do, is a beginner tool for hand cardio exercises, if you have fear of going to the gym, would recommend.
A great addition to my gym routine. Does the job. Strong and sturdy! Adjustable revision rating from 0-60kg. Great!!
This works exactly as intended and at 4.99 couldn’t be much cheaper. I like the inclusion of the rubber finger exerciser – I’ve had a forearm injury recently and this will be included in my strengthening exercises.
Does the job, no complaints!
First impression:
The is a 2-part hand exercise kit, the grip trainer to exercise closing the hand, and a rubber band with finger holes to train extension of the fingers and mobility.
The grip trainer is a fulcrum and spring training device, with the attachment point of the spring adjustable by turning a winder on the end. The mechanism is simple and the winder has a + and — marked on the end with direction arrows. The winder works well and turns easily, but don’t try it when squeezing the grip.
The rubber finger trainer has position markers to align with the tops of the fingers, and I found that placing it just short of the first joint, at the distal phalanx, worked best for me.
When adjusting the control to change the force required, the handle geometry changes and the handles move closer together. You not only need less force at the 5kg setting but you also pull over less distance. This might make it easier for smaller hands to use the grip trainer at lower settings. The handles have rubber covers and are ribbed for good adhesion to the hand. It fits comfortably and the hinge is in the right place to bring the handles together naturally.
What I really liked:
The grip trainer is well designed and it works very well. I don’t need to exercise my grip to high levels, and the lower settings were best for me when used repetitively. The plastic is strong and looks reliable. The spring is well away from contact with the hand.
There is a good range of adjustment available, from weak to hard, labelled 5kg and 60kg. I recommend not overdoing it and a little often seems to work best for me.
The rubber finger exerciser is a little fiddly to get onto the hand but once on, it does provide resistance to finger extension and will train different muscles of the arm and hand than the grip exerciser for some all-round training.
Anything I didn’t like so much:
At the 5kg setting, the spring sometimes rubs on the attachment point and is noisy. This does not happen at other force settings, and maybe it just needs a little lubrication.
I am not sure about the specification required either at the 5kg or 60kg settings. I placed the grip on a weighing scale vertically, and then placed increasing weight on the handle to compress the grip until it was a fraction short of bottoming out. It took about 8kg to compress the handle at the 5kg setting and about 30kg to compress the handle at the 60kg setting.
Conclusion:
I am recovering from a hand injury mainly to the pollicis muscles and tendons of the thumb where I couldn’t use my hand for a few weeks. I have been using a stress ball for some gentle physio, but this grip exerciser will help me to finish the job as I can set the severity to increasing levels over a period of a few weeks. Perhaps seeking some medical advice is a good idea in situations such as this. I couldn’t open my hand and extend my thumb, and the rubber band would have been useful at the time.
A grip exerciser has also been recommended at my ukulele group for players that suffer from cramp in their fretting arm. I don’t have much problem with the infamous E major chord but some do, and this device will help. Using the grip trainer at the office might be seen as a bit passive aggressive by some, but maybe it is an ideal low-key workout when you are reading a really annoying email. Despite the somewhat vague force settings of the grip trainer, the device does work, and the kit is amazing value at under 5.
Thanks for taking the time to read my review. Please give me feedback if you found it helpful.
I ordered this because my dad had one when I was a kid, and we used to play with it. So, originally it was a flashback purchase.
I use it while watching TV, and I could actually feel my forearms burning! In fact, even as I type this my forearm muscles feel alive – which I haven’t felt in years! I used to have crazy strong forearms from growing up on a farm, but the muscle has faded a bit as I got older. This is definitely a good tool for working on hand grip strength, as well as forearm strength. You can increase the tension via the little knob, and it works perfectly. Even my husband uses it now. I just have to remember to turn it back down a notch or two after he uses it.
This hand grip strengthener is great to use. You can change the Force from 5kg to 60kg.
After a few days I can feel a difference already.
It arrived promptly and with no issues, the product is great and good quality along side good customer service, would highly recommend
I’ve always found it difficult to build forearm size and strength at the gym, with the exercises being quite awkward, so I wanted to give this a try to see if it worked any better for me, and I have to say, it does.
It’s easy to use and the tension can be increased from 5 to 60kg by twisting the wheel on the end.
The whole thing feels durable and well made, so I’m hoping it lasts a while.
All in all, it’s a good device for forearm workouts and a good price at 4.99, which was the cost at time of writing.
I hope you found this review helpful.
Its got a good grip on it, which helps the fact that you can increase the level of grip from 5 kg to 60 kg, the handles have a soft but sturdy side to them so its not uncomfortable to use .
They’re both pretty well, I’ve had a similar gripper for a few months now which is the generic design as different companies sell the same model.
The grip rubber is nice and doesn’t give blisters, there’s a large strength slider from 5KG to 60KG and the spring is heavy duty. The rubber finger exerciser is pretty basic but is strong and can be placed further up or down the fingers to adjust tension.
4.99 is a pretty good price for a single gripper and finger stretcher.
I purchased this forearm exerciser to help increase my hand and finger strength for piano playing. The hand kit is lightweight and comfortable to hold, and offers a good amount of adjustable resistance. After a few days use I already feel a difference. Its a good size so it can be carried around for portable use.
The finger kit has a really strong elastic material. It fit my fingers well and offers a good amount of resistance to improve strength and flexibility.
Very pleased with this kit as it is made of strong material, is lightweight and easy to use, while offering good resistance for improving strength.

depends if youre a man or woman. Woman tend to have a smaller hand hence a smaller palm measurement. I found this too hard to hold as my hand had to be opened so wide to grip the handles as then i didn’t have enough power to pull them together. I know they’re supposed to help with strength etc but i thought i couold at lease get a comfortable grip on it, but i feel very over stretched. the dial on the that makes the spring strong or weaker takes ages to do up and undo, it feels like you’re getting a work out from that alone! The fingers thingy???? Oh my is really uncomfortable and painful. You may as well use an elastic band/hair tie, itll be more comfy. So…. If youre a man its great (my husband had no problems with it), but if youre a woman or just got dainty hands its very hard work!
I have been using this for a week to increase the strength in my left hand for playing guitar, the kit includes the grip itself and a silicone finger stretch. Using both pieces of equipment daily has already helped increase the strength in my left forearm and fingers. Useful and easily adjustable so this tool is a welcome addition to my kit.
This is great for building grip strength and forearms.
It can be adjusted for different levels of resistance.
It feel nice and comfy when in my hands when using it.
It also comes with a rubber thing to put each finger into. I’m not convinced this would do much to improve strength but it’s a nice bonus if you choose to use it.
With the JuHumee Hand Grip Strengthener set you get items to help with both grip and finger strength.
The grip exerciser is adjustable between a claimed 5 and 60kg of force, and while I was able to close it up at maximum, repetition is key and will guild strength. You make the adjustments by turning the knob at the end, with graduations along one side providing guidance regarding the setting.
The holes in the finger bands are a bit small but there’s plenty of stretch and very effective once you get your fingers in.
For just under a fiver, the JuHumee Hand Grip Strengthener set is great value.
This is surprisingly good, it’s comfortable compared to others I’ve used and the ability to adjust the resistance is amazing for building strength
