Habe ihn zum ausprobieren bestellt und hatte schon meinen Spa! Nur wenn man vom Rand aus schmeit sollte man auf dir Befestigung achten sonst kann man bei 3 Grad auch mal barfu zum rausholen ins Wasser gehen!
Gestern getestet und wer sich damit befasst und das Interesse hegt, wird nicht entuscht sei

Bought to drag around the yard to pick up nails after breaking pallets for firewood. A very strong magnet. Batteries are still the ones that came with it, but still have plenty of power .
It’s really strong has a very long rope it is secure good for beginners I highly recommend buying this you get what you pay for if I could rate this a 10 star I would absolutely delighted

Got this kit today and brought the 680kg but in the description it did not say about a grappling hook on looking inside there was one in there could some one tell me if it should be in there or not many thanks

Perfect for the magnet fishing beginner. A lot of fun can be had for very little money
Really strong what I was use if it for nice for passing the time and cleaning the waters.
I followed Youtube advice and superglued the screw in fitting. I have only used once but pulled out loads of stuff(junk) but its somehow huge fun.
I purchased it in order to try out magnetic fishing and perhaps for the retrieval of lost items.
I always go for the biggest and best items in whatever I do if the funds allow. This magnet kit being quite a jump in price over the next cheaper one was a questionable purchase. However I went for it and after it arrived I only had to screw the metal ring to the centre of the magnet and it was ready to go. Time to try it out.
The nearest large chunk of metal close to me was a floor-standing 15 ton hydraulic press. That will do I thought and I carefully placed the 120mm diameter magnet centrally onto one of the large metal feet of the press so as to get full contact.
Well.. let’s see how strong this really is and what magnetic fishing is all about. So I stuck my fingers through the connection ring and pulled and boy did I pull, .. didn’t budge, not one iota. Need a better grip on it I thought. So I unwrapped the rope and attached it to the ring and in order to use my full body strength I crouched and wrapped the rope around my shoulders, took up the slack and pulled, didn’t budge. I pulled so hard that the heavy press started to lift, granted only on the one side so I stopped, I didn’t want that toppling over. Had another go this time with my feet pressing either side of the magnet. Pulled again with all my might, didn’t budge. Christ I thought, how in hell am I going to get this thing off the press. Long story short I used a long pry bar and levered the magnet sidewards until well over half of its diameter was disconnected from the press.
Got to say, I now have a greatly increased respect and admiration for this type of magnet.
Just a word of warning though…
If while fishing you came across a large heavy item such as fridge or a large safe and it was extremely well stuck down there in the mud. If at the same time the magnet got a full contact on said item then there is going to be one hell of a tug of war and struggle to retrieve the expensive magnet.
Still when all is said and done it’s an extremely good bit of kit that should give plenty of enjoyment.

Bought this to try get the kids out and interested in something other than the Xbox phones and tablets. It’s currently in my sons room unopened after I accidentally got the magnet and a metal bottle opener stuck on hand cause I’m a bit of an idiot lol. It’s definitely a fantastic strong magnet it’s definitely not for kids or idiots like myself and if you buy please handle it with the gloves it’s pretty powerful
We plan on taking it to wales in July where there will be more responsible adults around to help lol
This is a great quality magnet fishing kit. So far, I have only had the chance to use it to help my neighbour retrieve his keys but I am sure it can cope with heavier objects with no problem! The magnet and the accessories are all great quality and the gloves are a nice addition, especially when the rope gets wet.

This is a brilliant magnet fishing set, and has everything you need for you to use either as a hobby, for cleaning rivers or for recovering lost metal objects in rivers and ponds.
The set is very robust with a large heavy duty magnet which can lift up to 1500 lbs (approx. 680kg), though haven’t tried it with anything as heavy as that yet! The kit has everything you need to get started, including quality fishing gloves, steel carabiners, 33ft durable nylon rope and plastic scrapers.
The magnet itself is very robustly made and is rust resistant, so should have longevity in use. All in all this is a super quality kit for magnet fishing that has everything you need to get started. Do mind the health warning though if you have metal medical components in your body. Particularly not for using if you have a pacemaker fitted, but also other electronic med tech components in your body (for pain management for example), as it is likely also to send them haywire too.
Fantastic kit, exactly what we needed to persuade us to get out more and do something other than sitting in the house. We live in old mining country so wonder what is in the rivers. First journey though was nearer to civilisation along the banks of a river that has houses on top of the opposite banking and a popular dog walking area and shortcut. The kit has everything you need, the magnet is amazing, solidly built and huge pulling power. 1500lb is over 100 stones. The rope is nylon so is strong and will not rot, the ends are eyed so no need to worry if you are not good with knots, there’s 10 metres so lots of range. The carabiner clips are strong with a load capacity of 550lb which is more than a quarter of a ton. The gloves are good quality and a welcome addition as if you are pulling a heavy object up, you don’t want slipping. There is even a scraper tool to help clean the magnet, if you can it is a good idea to take a bottle of clean water too to help clean once you’re finished or wait till you get home. Yesterday we found plastering trowels, a hammer, lots of bolts bits of things that I don’t recognise a watch all rubbish but we did find a nice belt buckle and a wallet that had a metal buckle, it was full of.nothing, but you never know about next time. A great hobby that gets us outside in the fresh air. Take a picnic and have fun. Don’t leave rubbish, if your finds are light, carry and bin if there’s lots of heavier metal phone a local scrap collector. Would also make a fantastic gift.
First off I was very surprised at how big the magnet is….it’s massive. The quality of it is very good. The rope and carabiners you get are also very good quality and can take the weight of whatever you find. The gloves are a nice addition, especially as some of the rivers you might magnet fish in are less than sanitary. The plastic scraper is handy too, helping you get rid of any excess muck or foliage. Very good value.
Excellent value for money, got for my son who has used it and had great success using it in the local rivers.
