These run straight and true when hit, they fly fast and where intended. Really nice weight and feel. Made to a good standard, really happy with these
A very well put together and durable shuttle that we used as a practice shuttle and for a bit of fun. Plays to it’s speed rating and flies relatively true. We’ve been playing with these for a while now and have still 1/2 a tube left. Would recommend if you want a different experience.
These are supplied in a sturdy tube, which doubles as storage with in and out marked clearly at each end to prevent accidental damage to the feathers. They play slightly faster than a plastic shuttlecock, and the black is surprisingly visible. Even though they might not last too long, it is still excellent value for money for 12 feather shuttlecocks – recomeended.
These are very good practice shuttlecocks as it is well-priced. Construction is good and lightweight. The only downside is it gets destroyed when not hit properly (as I do as I am a novice). I have plastic shuttlecock and I can tell there is a bit of difference between the two types of shuttlecocks.
Nice looking shuttlecocks with good response. Tube as in and out ends to help prevent damage to shuttle cocks when removing from tube. Shuttlecocks are fairly easily damaged if not looked after. The feather ends get crumpled quite easily with heavy hands, so not the best to use with children, but they do look quite impressive and they play nicely with a good reactive racket response. They feel and look nice to play with. You get 12 in the tube. Tube is very strong and resistant to damage in sports bag. Good value for money and can be appreciated for recreational use.
Nice set of shuttles! The feathers feel good and you get plenty in a pack. Play badminton regularly so needed a few more to bring. They seem very good and zip through the air! Very happy
I’ve had a bit of a hiatus from it due to the global “you know what” and also a smashed knee, but as I was preparing to get back into it (albeit gently) it was as if Vine had read my mind and presented me with these Manjhong feathered shuttlecocks.
I’ve previously only ever played with plastic shuttlecocks so I was very surprised at just how nice these feathered ones were. They’re very lightweight (lighter than the plastic ones I used) and seemed delicate. Another surprise was just how much faster these travel than the plastic counterparts. I’m not talking lightspeed but the difference is noticeable.
However, the durability of these things is questionable, they just seem a bit delicate for multiple games. Like, I can keep a plastic one for ages and ages and ages before there’s damage that affects the game. I don’t feel that these will last as long, in fact, one of them had already split after, say, 20 minutes of use.
Granted, my form is way off due to my layoff from playing, so I’m maybe being too heavy handed, but there I’m still dubious about their longevity. That said, they are lovely shuttlecocks and pretty good to play with.
This is lovely pack of high quality shuttlecocks. We play badminton in the garden and these work well. They are an ideal weight and seem very durable. Can’t fault them. The price seems reasonable. Overall impressed and highly recommend.
These shuttlecocks are great, very responsive and well balanced. Nothing like your plastic ones, the sound is completely different. The speed is great and keeps the game moving as I like. The feathers on these are very sturdy, them being goose are thicker and stronger. They do get damaged easily though, expected when using feathers over plastic. They keep their direction very easily and respond from the moment they touch your racket. Looking forward to even better weather to continue using these. Honk Honk.
I chose these as my son is still learning to play but likes using feathers so having the slightly slower shuttlecok gives him a bit of chance to respond and position himself. Having never played with black before it can be quite strange at first and it does depend on your surroudings as to whether these are as easy to see. We often practice in the garden and they work well there. They work out at about 1 per shuttlecock and wont last that long (as no feathers do) but are perfectly fine for practising.
Priced 13.69 (at the time of this Amazon Vine review), this makes this set of 12 shuttlecocks pretty good value.
The quality is very acceptable with a strong composite cork head on each one and real goose feathers. I notice other reviewers have commented on each shuttlecock’s weight and performance, and I suspect their observations are spot on.
I however got these for children to play ‘hacky sack’ with and for this purpose they are ideal and there are more than enough of them for many children to have a go at the game. If I had wanted them to play badminton then I think they would be more than adequate for this purpose as I usually only have a ‘knock around’ game with friends, however if we were more serious about the game then I perhaps you would want to opt for the brand leader.
These are a good price at under a pound a shuttle, less than half the price of Yonex shuttles. Seem well made and should be suitable for recreational play. I’ve not really given them a good try out yet but a pack of 12 seems a good investment.
A sensible way to give children an introduction to playing with feather shuttlecocks.
The feathers are held in place effectively and considering that the Olympic committee insists that only feather shuttlecocks are used, practicing with these is a great introduction for budding badminton players.
These shuttlecocks are good quality and you get a good number for the price. Speed-wise these seem a little heavier and slower than what I’m used to with feathers but they fly well and don’t scuff up too badly. Should last a while and worth getting if you haven’t played with feathers before.
Feather shuttlecocks are faster than plastic and so better for competitive badminton. These are a little slower than the more expensive shuttlecocks and so are good for practice. However each feather shuttlecock will only last a match as the feathers get damaged, so these are no good for a knockabout in the garden. These are perfect to practice competitive badminton, but as stated on the pack not for competitions.
Husband enjoys his badminton and has given these a go. He’s impressed with the quality, performance and price of these. Thumbs up.
Good quality shuttlecocks in a reasonable price. My kids lost lots of shuttlecocks whenever play badminton so always need extra shuttlecocks. Indeed it’s a good number of shuttlecocks in this price.
I like this pack of bedminton shuttlecocks . This are crisp , firm and sturdy . I like them because it can make its flight high . It is not bendy. It is firm and light weight . I am happy that these are completely balanced shuttlecocks . I am happy with this pack . And I will recommend it.
Hard wearing long lasting shuttles.
Seem to be very durable.
Perform just as well as more name branded shuttlecocks.
Fast movers.
I love badminton and play with plastic shuttles, but when playing in the league all of a sudden, the feather shuttles come out. They have a heavier feel and fly faster. If you have a rich team you are best getting some practise with them before matches. These ‘Manjhong Badminton Shuttlecocks’ are not the cheapest compared to the plastic, but they are good value for feather.
They are well made, and all the feathers were initially attached. Like all feather shuttles they start to fall apart, but they last about the usual number of hits. The rating is a little slower, but I could not tell. You may want to use them on club night as practise and have faster versions for match night. I know that for my bi-weekly club, they are appreciated. I have never used black feathers before and they play the same of course. It can get a little getting used to, but there is some benefit if you have bright lighting in a hall as they will contrast better.
This is a cool shuttle cock, unique colour and the quality is spot on as well. Good value for your money, can’t wait to use them.
Well made, work well. no issues with this product, comes in a tube to keep them all togethe
Badminton Shuttlecocks Suitable for recreational play only Durable Goose Feather Shuttles.
