Nice little tent we have another one that’s larger that works great. Had this one stored over winter and the zipper has come off. It’s a pain trying to figure out how to get it back on.

This is a nice grow room at a good price. It was as expected easy to put together. It has nice venting and a quality zipper. I would purchase from this company again.

I’ve been using mars hydro tents for over 4 years and they’re still in good shape. Over time (and understandably) the seams have started to allow a little light and the zippers don’t function as smoothly.
The new tent I just ordered seems to be a more robust material on the exterior, they added a full flap to cover the zippers and the zipper itself is bigger/smoother. Love to see that Mars has continued to improve over the years on an already good product.

I bought this as a bundle with the light the T 600 light and they are absolutely wonderfully paired together. You can fit a few small plants or one large plant it’s perfect for small spaces. Or if you’re just starting out to grow. I’m absolutely pleased with Mars hydros products I wouldn’t shop anywhere else

So far the tent has been perfect, it has plenty of vents, was pretty simple to put together seems to be made very well. My only issue is the lack of the option to purchase additional support poles for the top. The price was a bit more then I wanted to spend even with a coupon but they were the only ones with the odd size as well as mostly positive reviews do I went with it. I really wanted a 60″ by 36″ by 80″ tent but this one comes very close so I like it. I don’t use the view window much but it does come with one. I noticed a few very minor pin holes in the corners which are very tiny so I just have to be sure if I ever need complete darkness I plan accordingly but as of now I’m growing carrots and other veggies so it doesn’t matter.
The material seems very sturdy and thick. I would recommend this tent as it has some of the best reviews, is made of quality material and has a solid zipper on it. Just know you can’t get additional support beams from the company but maybe that will change one day. They do sell additional side bars on their website so I’m optimistic.

This tent has all the features you would want in a high end tent, thick heavy material and zipper, flaps that overlap the zippers to prevent light intrusion. Screen window for viewing environment inside (I like the plastic clear window on my Vivosun better). The only downfall is there is no steel plate for holding the magnetic monitors for the various goodies you are putting in the tent along with no place for the cords.

I am currently using this tent as a drying space. it is sealed very nicely, and hold 30% humidity with a 200 sq/ft dehumidifier.

I would recommend, but with add on’s for the above issues listed.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe tent is solid. Zippers work great. The only issue I would see is light leak at Velcro points. I would tape them if you are worried about light leak. I could definitely see a good amount light coming out of them at night. I pressed Velcro and it was better. I’m assuming if it can come out those areas it can also come in.

I really like these tents as they are easy to set up, I mean it takes less than 10 minutes. The material is nice and thick, the poles could be a little thicker but they seem to be standard size. I have read reviews about light leaks, but seriously, what’s a tiny pin hole light leak really gonna do? These tents are awesome, they are some of the thickest on the market coming in at 1680 D, which I really don’t know what that means other than a rating for the thickness of the material. There are some 2000 D on the market but I am happy with Mars. You can’t go wrong, get the 4×4 for your standard medical grow, it is the perfect size. I own 2 one for veg and the other for flower. I use a 2×4 for the cloning stage and then transfer to the 4×4. I love their products and Mars customer service is grad “A”!!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’ve owed a few non branded tents in my time, but this is by far the best one I’ve ever owned. The quality of the mylar is outstanding and no light leaks what so ever. Combined with my TSW2000 the temperatures and humidity are absolutely spot on.
Everything feels like top quality, the poles are way stronger and sturdier than all my other tents, the zips are very strong indeed. So easy to put up, I managed it myself. The delivery was next day, and I couldn’t wait…the black fabric on the outside of the tent has this glistening to it, it’s absolutely gorgeous. I recommend this to anyone to grow at home it’s perfect. Yes, you can get cheaper tents, but if you are growing long term, and this is more than just a hobby, or you just like to have exceptional quality branded products in general, then this is for you. You won’t be disappointed. If you have the cash, don’t cut corners on your grows, it will only cost you more in the long run. Trust me

5.0 out of 5 stars Best tent I've owned ever...

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersTent assembles same as most, with full zipper around bottom portion to aid in fitting. Zippers are of reasonable quality. Not as nice as my gorilla, but the price makes up. Tent poles are great for led, I would want to throw a large vented hood for a 1k hps, but that’s just me.

Some pinholes in the stitching. Not as nicely sewn as a 2×4 of same brand I bought last year. I like the zipper window sides for checking in on girls in the back.

Insides are extremely reflective and the 1680d advertised seems true. I cut off the velcro tabs for tent bottom and stitched on loose ribbon to be tied around poles, as the velcro breaks loose allowing the floor to shift.

Bought some carbon filter fabric on amazon, cut to size of rectangular vent holes around the base of tent, stuck on velcro and replaced the reflective solid vent covers. It filters the light and incoming air without needing a long snaky light trap ductwork intake.

Would probably buy the ac infinity tent next time. Seems to have more vents in more useful spots and other thoughtful additions at 2000D for like 20 bucks more.

I liked that it came with instructions in english and a sticker pack was a nice little bonus. But the main thing is the quality and strength of materials and good stitching. The secondary floor tray fits perfectly. well positioned access holes and good size.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersNot bad! I was worried with some of the negative reviews, but felt I definitely got my money’s Amazon.
Note: I purchased this for 74.99 on Anazon.

The reason why I went with this tent instead of others was due to its height. Most 2×2 tents are 2x2x3 or 2x2x4, and I wanted to get a bit more height out of it than that and boy does this tent deliver!

Set up was fairly simple after I wrapped my head around what I needed to do. Only took 15 to 20 minutes. Literally just look at the included literature, separate the different poles, assemble the frame from the bottom up, make sure the connectors on the rods are facing the right way as you put them on, put the whole frame on its side, FULLY unzip the tent, then I shoved the bottom on the frame in first, then you just kinda work it in nice and slow. Easy peasy.

Materials seems great! The Oxford seems well made. No cuts or holes. I even accidentally scraped the end of an aluminum rod against the Oxford and it didn’t even leave a mark.
The mylar on the inside is nice and super reflective. Great quality! When you open your tent, make sure you put on some sunglasses! (Not joking).

As far as light leaks go, there is a small amount of stitching between zipper and the canvas material that shows light, but they do provide you with squares of mylar that you can use to glue over those parts if you care that much. Personally, the location I have my tent will cut out more light anyways since the light has to go through a closet door before it would go into the tent. Another thing with light leak, is that you if you have the intake flaps on the bottom open, means you are letting light in anyway, so I don’t think it’s a big deal…

The zipper itself is nice and smooth to zip up and down. Doesnt get caught or anything. Tine will tell if this holds true as this is the most “used” part of a tent.

There are plenty of options for exhaust, however I would’ve loved to see an intake port for active intake as well. As it is now, there are 2 intake flaps on the bottom on adjacent sides, which is fine and you can feel the air pulling through no problem, but it would be nice to have an active set up for intake filtration. Now I have to get some square filters and figure out how to attach them to the intakes. Would be nice if maybe there was some sort of slotting mechanism for a square intake filter!

The tent also comes with one of those water catch pans, and it actually stays in place since it has 2 flaps on each corner with velcro on them to attach to the poles of the tent on the inside for a sturdy attachment that won’t move around on you.

Some other things I would have liked to see would be a viewing window, a small tool pocket somewhere, slightly thicker poles (I don’t think the included poles are bad, but without the tent put around the poles, it feels a little flimsy) and would be nice if tent manufacturers figured out a way to mount fans on the outside of the tents.

I wanted to mount my fan on the outside to allow more room for plant growth and because having my light and fan inside at the same time didn’t allow enough room for the light to be centered if I used the side exhaust ports, which btw, the ports could definitely be placed higher up the tent. There is a good amount of space between the side exhaust ports and the very top of the tent. Kinda wasted space there….

So I took an aluminum rod and bent it into a shape that would support the fan (AC Infinity S4) on the top support braces and the top rear pole so it sits right over the 10inch top exhaust. If you are looking at the picture, the part of the rod with the bend is the part that is sitting on the 2 top support braces (the braces you hang your lights from) then the 2 ends of the bar are resting on the top rear pole. Been sitting there for a week now with no issues.

I have a 100 watt SpiderFarmer SF1000 in there and with the S4 fan on level 6, I don’t get any higher temperatures than 80.4 F with ambient temperatures around 72 to 74. RH is 40.

Great tent for a great price!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is my second tent, previous 150cm and needed higher. This tent is expensive 2 x times previous tent cost, so why the high price. This is a well made well designed banana grow tent. The whole tent went together with ease, every part of this tent is well well made. I am pleased with this tent and the price reflects the quality.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersSo far one of the support pole is bent and another support pole is pinched at the end were it hangs from so I can’t even use it. Quality control? Hopefully the rest of the tent will be better. Will update when I finish putting the tent up.
UPDATE: the rest of the tent is good. It’s been about a week or so since I sent them the email and on messenger… nothing.
I can use the tent cause the pole to hang the light from is the one that’s bent/pinched with stress cracks.
5/12/2020 I’ve changed my review from 2 stars to 4.
After 3 emails. Lidia was the one that finally helped me. She sent me a 2nd hand tent. (Brand new) looked like it was just and open box or return. Nothing is wrong with it as far as I can see. I’ll have to put it togeather first. But looks good otherwise.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersSo far, very happy. Judging against other tents purchased for other clients (I am an ex store holder for hydroponics and still advise clients on requirements), I’d put the quality as high as some well known brands. In particular the zipper is hard wearing . good quality all around. Client is using it to grow two large vegetable plants in 22 litre buckets with an overhead 600w hid (in barn shield) bulb . there is enough space for filter but not extraction fan (6″) which will if you require this have to be mounted outside of the tent which is not an operational conce

Awesome product. It contains 3 windows along the bottom, one on each side and the back and one window at the top of the front door in order to observe inside without opening the tent. It also has more than enough vent holes. It was really easy to set up with quick delivery too. Definitely recommend.

    Good quality
