This works pretty good. The only downfall is that when it gets hot it stops working. So you have to let it cool down and it will start working again. I wish the batteries lasted a little longer. All in all it’s a good buy for the money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersDidn’t think there would be much power, but it surprised me. This is what I grab now any time I go out to do yard work. So simple to cut the branches and do the trimming. I have cut up to 5″ branches with no problem. Goes right through them with ease. Do watch the safety lock as it is in a bad spot and can be released without you realizing.

Purchased this because I can’t crank a big chainsaw and I always need to trim limbs or tidy up bushes when my husband isn’t home. Wow! This thing is not a toy. It cuts! Two batteries nice case. I have used it several times and have not run a battery down yet. Now my husband keeps using it.

he saw got here next day shipping… to my surprise, it had a chain installed and 2 spares. One great thing is that I already have a Showden King 1/2″ impact wrench, and it uses the same battery, but my impact batteries are 5000mah, so that was a pleasant discovery. I will try that after my warranty of course haha. Will trim some low hanging limbs after this Texas 100 degree heat lets up.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersSaved so much time and energy by finding this little guy. I had tons of boxes to cut down, I had a slouching tree with long branches that needed trimming and I had a small bush-trunk that was dead and so stubborn to uproot so this little gem saved the day! Made all these chores disappear in a fraction of the time and no sore arms or fingers afterwards with all that unnecessary knife cutting or chopping. It’s compact but sturdy and did the job(s) beautifully in almost no time. Like I said, it’s my new favorite little addition to my garage and a super handy gadget to have!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFirst impression you can immediately see that the persons responsible for this mini chainsaw kit know what they are doing. It comes white everything you need and immediately ready to start working. I used it continuously for one hour cutting apart three over grown shrubs. This did not even challenge the 20v battery although the little electric motor was very warm. I do not have many cons with this mini saw. My only suggestion would be to make the teeth on the chain closer together to cut smaller branches easier.

This has been the best investment for me. It came just in time to clear trees after the horrible storm. It cuts through the smaller limbs in no time. Love having the two batteries. I have them charged and ready to go. When one stops, I pop the spare in, and good to go again. Usually need to tighten the chain after each use, but no deal. This is perfect for ladies to use. Left handers might have trouble using it. If my husband wasn’t left handed, I would buy one for him to use.

Ordered this for firewood and low limbs around the house. Had reservations about the size and being battery operated. Works way more efficiently than my other chainsaw. Was amazed at how easily it cuts through limbs and branches. Having 2 batteries almost ensures me not run out of power. Extra chain and accessory tools are nice to have also.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was skeptical about how well this would work but they worked amazing! I cut down loads of trees and delimbed them to put in the shredder and this little trimmer saw worked great! As long as you follow the directions and not go too large on your branch size you will find they work great. The battery’s last a good amount of time also and having two made it even better. I also ordered extra chains so I could swap and keep going and sharpened them when I was still cutting.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was a bit skeptical about this unit but ordered it anyway. I tried it on various sizes of limbs and it worked fine. I oiled the chain before using it and adjusted the tension as there is no automatic oiler. Keep the tools with you as after 2 or 3 cuts you need to adjust chain tension. It gets into those tight places other saws would not allow and the battery life seems to be OK. It has worked great for my use for cutting smaller limbs.

I have a lake and woods in my backyard. So, we get a lot of gifts from birds all over our yard AKA bird poop trees. Sometimes they get away from me and turn into actual 6-8 ft trees. This little thing rips right through them ! This is the most fun toy I purchased in a long time ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GET ONE OF THESE AS PART OF YOUR REGULAR LAWN AND GARDEN ARSENAL. Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMAN…I love this mini chainsaw. It came with 2 batteries and 2 chains. It is a great value and works awesome! I have already been busy clearing a 30 year old stubborn vine from the fence and can’t wait to start on the brush this fall. HOWEVER, you need to make sure if you order it, you buy some chainsaw oil to lube the chain and bar. It has a small bottle in the box but it is empty and for you to add the oil to it. It is important that you oil any chainsaw each time before use. This little sucker is well worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThe manual shows a screw on the saw and the enclosed screwdriver with directions to adjust the chain with the screwdriver and the screw.
I do not appear to have a screw on my saw.
I took the cover off no screw. I sent the above pictures to them.
The manufacturer was very responsive but no matter how I explained there was no screw visible to me, and I sent at least 4 emails the answer was:
Thank you . Please use the screwdriver to adjust the screw.
They offered a 3 dollar refund to my purchase and once again said ” adjust the chain with the screw”.
I just said ” God bless you”.
    So..
Anyone out there that has my model know how to tighten the chain?
    And.

How do you tighten the chain?

Works great and really good price. Comes with2 batteries, safety goggles, and gloves. I had to take down a tree and this made life so much easier. Probably would have cost hundreds to have it removed and hauled away but with this I was able to cut all the branches off easily and then the stump. Cut the branches into small pieces and bagged them up in thick trash bag and had Waste Management pickup them on a bulk item picked. All for free. Best purchase you can make for outdoor tree maintenence.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI used the saw for only 2 or 3 hours and it performed very well. However, shortly after the 30 day free return period, it would not start. I thought it might be the battery, but both batteries were fully charged and “nothing”. I contacted the company by sending an email as mentioned in the packaging materials and was told to remove chain and clean well and then reinstall chain and try again. Nothing. The company then told me they would send me a new chainsaw. Just like that. So, now, I am waiting the 10 days I was told it would take for for new chain saw to arrive. Assuming it comes, excellent customer service and highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersGreat maneuverability! My wife has a tendency to plant bushes close to fence lines. When she gets tired of these bushes and wants them removed, a regular sized chainsaw can’t be used because of the likelihood of hitting the fence and ruining the chain (and I’m getting too old to use a hand saw.) With this saw because of it’s light weight and short size you can work close the fence.

I don’t know how long a fully charged battery lasts because I haven’t run one down, but then, I only do yardwork for about a half hour at a time.

    DEFINITELY USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES.

You do have to oil the chain at times but you can get a syringe to do that at any hardware store.

My 68 yr. old wife handles this saw with ease.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’m 80 years old and handling a standard chain saw has become too much for me. I have beautiful old oak tress in my yard and during storms, there always seems to be a limb or two that comes down. I think the largest diameter limb I’ve cut was perhaps 3″ and this little saw went through it like it was nothing! So my neighbor had a crape myrtle that was in desperate need of severe pruning and it handled that too! I’m surprised that the batteries lasted as long as they did – very handy to have one charging while you’re using the other one. Nice product!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis little chain saw is the little engine that could. I got so much work done using just one of the batteries this weekend that it was almost ridiculous. I know that I am not always happy with the quality of things I get on Amazon, however this is most definitively the case with this super mini chain saw. I recently gave away my full size chain saw to a friend because it was just sitting collecting dust needing to be oiled and chain constantly tightened and the bulk and heaviness was just annoying to the point I would use my axe instead. Not anymore. I am not getting any younger and this is a game changer. You will not be disappointed. Remember when cutting think branches to balance carefully and remember that things snap back, so definitely wear the included goggles and gloves. Be safe and have fun.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI should have read the specs a little more carefully before purchasing, size and capacity are all documented. It turns out this saw is a bit too small for the main purposes for which I bought it. I am keeping it because it will come in handy for a number of other small landscape projects around the yard. During my use, the fully charged battery was still powering the device after at least 30 minutes of use.

It is relatively lightweight and easy to handle. Just make sure what you are cutting isn’t too large or too small. I managed to jam it up badly when instead of using the hedge trimmers I tried to even up the top of a shrub. That required taking off the guard and chain protector to clear the jam. Again, my fault for using the device outside of specification. Make sure it meets your need before purchase and if it does, this is a good addition to your tool collection.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersSaw came fully charged on both batteries. Love that it has the button to check bars. Took it out and cut about 30 thumb sized branches. Still showing full bars.
Got to hold saw tightly ’cause it bounces around when cutting out towards the top of the bar. The little oil bottle comes empty. I filled it with some mineral oil and went to work. Like all chain saws, you need to check the chain tightening regularly. While other reviewers state a Makita battery will fit this, one would need to buy a charger as well, thereby doubling the saw price, so I’ll stick with the supplied batteries for now. While designed for right handed operations, I found with some simple finger gymnastics, I was able to use the saw with either hand.
    Over all, very pleased.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our Usersoverall this was a very easy to use product. I do have a few suggestions. it’s from China. It was nicely boxed but the box + instructions could use some modification. It needs clearer wording in English but overall can figure out what they are trying to say in instructions. It tells you how to put on the chain. Started following it when i realize the chain is already on the item. the battery was also already filled. It could be taken out of the box + used right away, so make sure you check 1st. It does cut small branches. be careful not to cut larger ones or it can get stuck. it would require some careful maneuvering to remove it from the branch. it is lightweight + can be easily operated which is the main reason why i purchased it. As a woman i would not feel comfortable using a heavy gas operated chainsaw. Also they gave you extras for safety items which was nice. Always wear glasses when operating even small jobs like this. Happy with purchase so far. Does small quick jobs

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersAs a homeowner and single woman, I’ve been frustrated by not being able to do yard work which required a saw; nothing like cutting down a tree! but smaller jobs which really needed pruning. Using a bow saw was always difficult, clumsy and annoying. I’m 5’1″ tall and weigh 117 pounds.

So one day I checked in with Amazon and simply wrote: “Chain saws for women.” I was flabbergasted when this Beihong cordless mini saw popped up on the screen! I ordered it that instant. It arrived within a few days, and I felt like it was like Christmas morning when I was a kid getting a really cool present! As weird as that sounds, you’ll
agree, I’m sure, if you order one.

Don’t let its small size fool you; this is still a chain saw which deserves respect, but it is so easy to use, does the jobs perfectly, and is empowering!! I (almost) look forward to outdoor projects now.

Golden Review Award: 32 From Our UsersThe saw works great but the batteries that come with it are terrible. Luckily, I have a Makita push mower that uses two 18v batteries that fit this saw (reason I chose this one over some others). For reference, one of the Makita batteries lasts 4x longer than both (combined) of the 21 volt batteries that come with the saw fully charged. Battery quality, not voltage, determines what constitutes a good battery. Also, technically, a 20-21v max battery is the same as an 18v battery The max indicates the max voltage which may or may not have anything to do with the working voltage of your tool. The Makita batteries fit on the saw but the batteries that are included do not fit on my the Makita charger .

Another thing that would be useful to explain is that the little bottle pictured does not contain bar and chain oil. It’s just a bottle that you can put the oil into, you will need to purchase that separately and I highly recommend oiling the chain thoroughly before first use or you could damage the saw.

All in all it’s still a good buy so far (price is right). I have used it to cut up a bunch of pine tree limbs that fell during a recent storm. The limbs are 5-6″ thick and pine is a fairly soft wood, but I bet the saw will be ok for harder trees as well.

4/5 stars so far. Will update if that changes.

This is one powerful little machine! Right out of the box I trimmed a huge oak tree. One of the branches was approximately 6 and 1/2 inches thick. I then proceeded to use it to cut up everything into small branches to send out with my normal trash. It lasted a good 2 hours and I only used one battery and a half of the other battery. I am truly amazed at the power of this itty bitty chainsaw.

I bought this for trimming tree branches (electric saw’s dangling cord gets caught and gas chainsaw gets heavy). The battery doesn’t last long, but while it is charged it cuts quite well. There is a second battery that charges fairly quickly. Almost as fast as one battery is used, the next is ready to go (almost). As long as you have some experience with chain saws, you shouldn’t have any problems. I also used this saw for cutting and shaping landscape timbers for fence corners (it was out and handy so I figured if it worked I wouldn’t have to tune the gas saw). Worked well. No idea of the life expectancy yet, but so far I am quite impressed.

This little guy does its job. I bought it to cut bushes, and smaller limbs. It works extremely well. Because it is small and lightweight, it can get into small places to make the perfect cut. I can cut stuff up to fit into my garbage cans and for firewood easily. Worth its weight. Came with tools – idk who would fit the gloves (they’re small) but the tiny bottle for chain oil is perfect size for a pocket and is enough for multiple applications for the chain.

BUT!!! I emailed the company, sent a photo and explanation of what happened, and they immediately responded and immediately sent me a replacement saw!
I’m thrilled because it it lightweight, easy to use, and it comes with 2 batteries. The two times I used it, I used it for a long time and the battery lasted almost the entire time each time. I just had to swap it out, then, for the extra battery.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI really didn’t expect much from this when I bought it. I’m getting too old (lazy) to use the camp saw for small limb trimming when I don’t feel like bothering with my chainsaw and figured “whatever” and ordered this. Like I said, for the price, I did not expect much, but was pleasantly surprised. It ripped through small trash trees and limbs pretty well. It will need to be disassembled and cleaned after use because it “gunks up” under the guard. It’s a little more powerful than I expected also, so be careful with this thing. Also, because there is no automatic oiler, you will have to oil the chain. I use an old eye dropper and suck the oil out of the quart bottle of bar lube and give it a decent amount before jobs. Battery life isn’t the best, but they give you two batteries and it’s made for limited use and small jobs anyway.
Overall, for the price and what you get (two batteries, two chains, charger, safety glasses, and work gloves) it’s a good deal. General prior knowledge of how a chainsaw works will be helpful, like knowing how to change chains, tighten the bar, and understanding that this is not a toy and could seriously injure you if you don’t respect it.
Overall, good deal for the price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersUsed this to cut small branches on a fallen tree. It’s not overly powerful but it worked well on branches up to 3-4 inches around. Branches larger than this I use my full-sized electric chain saw instead. You do need to be careful because this tool is fairly light. One time I was admittedly not being entirely careful and was holding the branch too close to where I was making the cut. I started it running and didn’t put enough pressure as the saw contacted the branch. Because it was so light the blade skipped along the branch rather than cutting in and snagged on the jacket sleeve of my other arm. Could have been bad if I didn’t have the jacket on.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis is my first mini chainsaw and it works very well. I am in my 70’s and pinched a nerve in my neck Nov. of 2022. It’s taking a long time to heal and my left arm to stop hurting. I was having a hard time using both my arms to cut or prune limbs with a pair of loppers or 18 inch chain saw, both of which require both hands. So I decided to take a chance on this mini chainsaw and it has performed beautifully with only one hand. Obviously it works harder sawing hardwoods and I don’t recommend trying to cut anything bigger than 5 inches in diameter. It’s not meant to take the place of a bigger saw. The batteries will show all 4 lights on them after a half an hour but they are not fully charged until the charger plug light turns green. All in all I recommend this chainsaw for what it is meant to do and does well.

Golden Review Award: 31 From Our UsersI needed a power saw/chain saw to trim large crepe myrtles in my yard and wanted one that as a woman, I could easily handle myself. This one is perfect and made the job very quick. The cuts were clean, quick and the saw was not heavy to hold and was not awkward to maneuver. The price was within my budget. It arrived the day after I ordered it. All in all, I am very pleased. I do wish it had come with chain oil – but whatever. It came with everything else I could have ever asked for, including safety goggles. I gave one less star because I am left-handed and the safety button is on the left side. Therefore, the safety button and the trigger can only be activated with one hand if you’re using your right hand and impossible to activate both with your left hand. I have to use two hands to operate the saw. We live in a right handed world, so adapting to this is nothing new for me, but this is after all, a review and this is my platform for my unsolicited opinions! I am glad I bought the saw and I hope to be able to use it for many years to come. It saved me hundreds of dollars (still picking my jaw off the floor from the quote I received) of having to pay someone else to do this task for me. And I feel good about it all around.

I’m amending my review to say that I have used it further, and I’ve learned to use it with my left hand, although I have adapted to using it more with my right hand. Another “this is a right-handed world” problem – that every left-handed person can relate to. Don’t let it stop you from purchasing. It’s an awesome little saw!

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersVery nice little saw for trimming and for cutting up smaller branches being used for firewood. Comfortable to hold and well balanced. As someone who has/used a gas chainsaw all their life I was getting tired of lugging it around for smaller jobs around my property. Battery life is good while cutting up 4-5 inch thick branches. On the other hand, the manual or directions could use a serious rewrite. You’re provided a small plastic container in the contents which presumably should hold oil for the chain but no real directions for using it. For those unfamiliar with chainsaws, to increase the longevity of the chain and the chain bar, you should occasionally squirt oil around the chain to help lessen the friction and heat generated while cutting. I used 3in1 oil.

Golden Review Award: 54 From Our UsersWhen you take this mini saw out of the box, your first thought might be like mine: “this will never do the job!” It feels weightless in hand, and if I am completely honest, a bit flimsy. But don’t let it fool you. This little saw is “mini” in size and name only. It’s actually quite a little powerhouse!
I needed something to clear some scrub where the cedars, p*ss elms and honeysuckle vines were tearing down the 6′ cyclone fence. If you’ve tried to clear a fence line, you know that a regular saw just won’t cut it (yeah, I said that! lol) for working close. I needed something small and maneuverable. So I took a chance on this little saw, and I am glad I did. It made short work of the cedars, both live and dead limbs (which can be hard on even the best of saws), and it allowed me to get in close to the fence and cut limbs and vines out of the links. I have only used it one day, but here are the pros and cons as I see them so far:

    Pros:
    Extremely lightweight and maneuverable
Great battery life – I worked for a couple of hours and cut a lot of limbs, and the battery was still going strong
2 batteries and the charger are included with the saw, as well as an extra chain, adjustment tool and the requisite safety goggles and gloves
Great power for a mini saw

    Cons:
The case was NOT included with my saw and the saw I received was green, not safety orange, which I wanted for visibility in the brush and to distinguish my tools from others’ stuff – this is the reason for the 4 stars. It did not arrive as advertised. The last photo is the saw I actually received.
It does tend to bind when cutting at awkward angles or overhead. Not a big deal (never threw the chain, etc.), but be aware of it and support odd cuts appropriately
It is awkward to use ambidextrously. I am right handed, and needed to make some cuts with my left hand. It can be done, but it takes some creative finger movement (to be fair, I also have arthritis, so someone with a full range of motion might find it easier)

All-in-all, this is a great little saw. My biggest complaint is that it was not as advertised as far as the color and it came in a cardboard box, not a case like it was supposed to.

Don't let its looks fool you

I ordered 2. One to keep and one to gift.
I have used it twice and it does the job perfectly.
I used it to trim tree branches and limbs up to 3″ in diameter. The battery held up through both jobs with no decrease in power in performance!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was hesitant to buy this, thinking it couldn’t work as well as advertised but it has good reviews. I took a chance knowing I could return it if first use was disappointing. It did not disappoint! For me, it has already paid for itself for time saved, easy to use, and works just as shown in videos. Highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersThe saw has been working well cutting small logs and twigs. Hard cutting does drain the battery, but given the size and weight I think the battery life is reasonable. Having an extra battery is nice.

The safety button, which you must push to pull the trigger, is on the left side of the handle. This is great for right-handed people whose thumb can push the button. It’s a little more difficult for us lefties.

Outside of that, the saw works fine.

Very happy with this purchase. The chainsaw is lightweight and very easy to use. The only qualm I have is with the battery life which is kinda short. Otherwise I recommend this especially for older adults that have issues with using heavy tools.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI wasn’t too sure about getting a mini chainsaw. I bought it because my girlfriend really wanted to try it. Now I recommend this one to anyone with a yard. Its cut down on my workload because she loves using it. It’s very lightweight. Among other things we have used it for limbing my trees. It feels very secure using it while on a ladder. The battery life is amazing. The chain does need to be tightened every hour or so and I usually oil it at the same time. If your questioning wether you will actually use it don’t. You will.

I love this little chain saw. Its already assembled, plus you get 2 batteries, wrench and extra chain. Lightweight, easy to use even for an old lady, and perfect for cutting up dead palm tree fronds. Took less than a minute to cut into 3 pieces for disposal, and in Florida you have them all the time. This will save me time and energy.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWe got this a few days ago. Even came early! Must’ve known our North Dakota weather was gonna turn sour in a couple days from delivery? And, we’ve been removing small trees and limbs from big tree overgrowth. What we used to use bow saws and clobbers on, even chainsaws, are removed in seconds! This amazing little saw is lightweight and gets into pretty tight places. Those battery powered tools are just absolutely wonderful, and this mini chainsaw is a gem.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersManeuvers great. Very lightweight. Cuts great. But the battery only lasts around 20 -30 min so have the extra battery ready. It comes with two. It’s worth the purchase. Easy to clear if and clean if needed. Small screw removes the plastic cover plate and you just remove snd hard twigs that may have jammed it. I did a lot of cutting. Large bush and two trees and it only jammed a few times, and that was mainly on the bush because the branches were flexible.

I have some older shrubs with thick dead branches and this little saw made quick work of them. It works better than I had even hoped for. It came fully charged and with safety glasses, ready to use right out of the box. Highly recommend this especially for ladies who have branches to cut and don’t want to try to cut by hand or use a big chainsaw

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersGreat little chainsaw, but the battery died after only two uses. It took a little effort, since I waited a couple of months to use the chainsaw, but after a little back and forth, the seller completely remedied the situation and sent a replacement to me. I was also told by the seller that the batteries are compatible with Makita batteries, so for those of you who have Makitas, that is also something to keep in mind. I would buy another one of these little saws!

This handheld chainsaw is perfect for taking off small branches. I am so glad I have it as it sure beats a manual hand saw. I have only had it a short time, but if it lasts a few years, I will be completely happy with my purchase. It was somewhat difficult to tighten the chain, but that is my only complaint.

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersI wanted to use this before writing a review and it’s a decent product overall. I have pecan trees and they drop limbs due to breaking out under weight. This little saw works very well for the price and honestly if you had one more battery it could out work you when cutting limbs. I will cut bigger limbs around 3 1/2 ” and you should have no issues. The chain has stayed tight and smooth cutting if you watch what your doing. If you let it get stuck I can see where it could be a problem but I’ve had no problems with this saw.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersWe used these to trim a couple dozen trash trees out of a rosebush bed. The trees were mostly 2-3 inches in diameter, and this thing ate through them well. There’s a button on the side that you have to push in before pulling the trigger, but even with leather workgloves on, it wasn’t hard. It’s pretty lightweight, so shouldn’t be too difficult for lightweight people to use… It seems to shut off when it overheats, which didn’t happen until I was maybe a dozen trees into it. Cooled off a minute and then continued to work fine. Each battery lasted probably 30-45 minutes. There are convenient LED lights on the batteries to tell you how much juice is left. The chain loosened after a while (which is to be expected), but there’s a wrench included and it’s very easy to tighten again without any sort of disassembly.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI used this chain saw to prune a cedar tree’s 2 1/2 inches in diameter branches off our fence. It could easily cut up to 5″ diameter branches. I really like this chainsaw. I’m a 60 plus female with arthritic hands and this cordless 6 inch Mini Chainsaw is a blessing. My husband likes it too. I would recommend this 6 inch chainsaw to anyone needing to something lighter and smaller to trim things too small for a standard size chainsaw.
The instruction sheet did have a problem with explaining about what kind of oil to use. You will need a lubricating oil that has a metal protectant mixed in with it to keep the blade clean.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersWhen I received this mini chainsaw, I felt what this little thing can do? Oh, my goodness, it does job done. I received it yesterday and tested it today. I was having hard time trim/cut some tree/shrub in our garden because regular chainsaw can’t get in, narrow area. And using handsaw is hard to do. So, I decided to get this one to see how it goes. Very impressive! Power is pretty strong, so it cut pretty fast, light weight, small enough to maneuver narrow area, and two batteries. Handle is steady and can grip really good. I like it. I have to see how long it will last. But I am not going abuse it, so motor won’t burn out. I do have several regular chainsaws to do the larger task, so no need to abuse little one… :>) I really like it!

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI wanted something to trim small branches easier than breaking out the chainsaw or pole saw, and this certainly fits the bill. It’s also very handy for my wife and son to use as both have a little difficulty with the larger, gas-powered saws. My only complaint is that the bar seems to loosen a lot and I have to reinstall the chain & tighten the bar back down. Just take the included tool with you (or a 10mm socket/ratchet) to tighten the bar/chain when it gets loose and you’ll love it.

Superb little machine. Having a second battery is very useful as they aren’t big so don’t last too long if you’re doing larger branches. Easy to use and very lightweight. Definitely cuts through branches as advertised – we tested it on some 6cm ones and it coped just fine. Remember to get some oil though (we used car oil) as there isn’t any in the box! Recommended produc

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersUsed it today on my three small trees to get the bottoms cut so mower could get under them. #1. it came fully charged which I was pleased about. It worked great for the about 3 inch limbs I cut off which is exactly why I bought it. The gloves were pitiful and one was torn up the first time out. lol I don’t really care but need to geta tougher pair before I go out with the saw again. Love that it has 2 batteries and I liked the glasses although I will probably buy a better pair of those too. I had a great pair and do not know where they went to. I think the $39, $49 ones on Amazon are probably the same efficiency so this is a little high, but I am happy with this one and will be keeping it unless something happens to change my mind my next use of it. Hope this helps someone out there.

Great light gadget. Love the two batteries. Overheats then have to wait a bit to cool down. Remember it’s just for branches the width of an arm . Lady user. Very happy

Put wood next to base of blade

It does what it is designed to do very efficiently. Tends to vibrate a bit more as the power gets lower but, in a way I suppose this could be seen as an early warning to change the battery over.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBased on the cordless Spear & Jackson pole saw I bought a few years back I was expecting similar performance, but I was surprised how effortlessly this goes through branches. Charging time for batteries was as stated, as was the run time. Used for around 2hrs this morning and had to tweak the chain tension a few times, but other than that absolutely no issues whatsoever. A lot of the reviews I read complained about the manual but to be honest it’s self explanatory. One screw to adjust tension, one nut to remove the guide plate and chain, apply oil direct to chain as needed, and wipe clean after use. That’s really all you need to know, and as long as you check the tension regularly, I can’t imagine having any problems operating this saw. Strongly recommend!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis was perfect for what I needed. I am always cutting the thick weeds in the garden with a scissors which is painstaking and rough on my nice smooth hands :). I needed a cordless chainsaw as I didn’t want the kids or dogs tripping over the wire and causing me to lose my guitar0playing hand so this was perfect, and it even came with a spare battery.

It arrived set up and ready to go with power in the batteries and the chain already assembled on the saw. The first thing i was shocked at was how light it was, and this made it very easy to maneuverer with one hand. It also comes with some gloves and safety glasses, and just in case you run out, it comes with an extra chain which is so easy to replace.

There is a safety catch of course on the saw, which will stop the kids using it if I was ever stupid enough to leave it in reach. And when used, it makes very easy work of the thick weeds and small branches. I have no doubt that this would be perfect for cutting thick branches or even the stump of a thin tree, but it might struggle with a great oak 🙂

All in all, Im very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it for light garden work. When its finished, the box doubles as a nice little case to save you stowing it away in a plastic bag in the shed. Top marks

    Excellent Chainsaw for smaller jobs.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMy hedges are now as immaculate as my neighbour’s, thanks to this fantastic and highly effective cordless chainsaw/trimmer. The mini size is great and really does enable an effective cut in little time. It arrived ready to use, so it took just seconds to attach the included battery. It’s very light, so handling felt safe and easy to do. The cut is great, and my hedge was looking as though it had a professional gardener taking care of it. I am not too easily impressed, but this is money well spent; I am truly happy with this trimmer. The battery is fast-charging, which is yet another reason to be happy. Another happy Amazon purchase!
