I recently purchased two of the 2500W Electric Heaters, Oil Filled Radiators, and overall, I’m quite pleased with their performance and features. Here’s a detailed review:
#### Pros:
1. **Powerful Heating**: With 2500W of power and 13 fins, these heaters effectively warm up my large living room and bedroom quickly. They provide consistent and even heat, making it very comfortable during cold days.
2. **Smart Control**: The WiFi connectivity and compatibility with the Smart Life app are excellent. I can control the heaters remotely, adjust settings, and set schedules, all from my phone. It’s very convenient, especially when I want to warm up the rooms before I get home.
3. **Multiple Heat Settings**: The heaters have three heat settings, allowing me to choose the right level of warmth depending on the weather and my comfort needs. The adjustable smart panel is user-friendly and straightforward to navigate.
4. **Child-lock Feature**: The child-lock feature gives me peace of mind, knowing that my kids can’t accidentally change the settings or turn the heaters on or off.
5. **24H Timer**: The 24-hour timer is very useful. I can set it to turn on or off at specific times, which helps in conserving energy and ensuring the rooms are warm when needed.
6. **Quiet Operation**: The heaters operate quietly, which is great for maintaining a peaceful environment at home. They don’t disturb conversations, TV watching, or sleep.
#### Cons:
1. **WiFi Setup**: Setting up the WiFi connection was a bit tricky initially. The instructions could be clearer, and it took a few attempts to get both heaters connected to my network.
2. **Size and Weight**: The heaters are quite large and heavy, which makes them less portable. It’s not a major issue for me, but it’s something to consider if you plan to move them between rooms frequently.
3. **Price**: They’re on the pricier side compared to other heaters, but considering their features and performance, I believe they offer good value for the money.
Overall, the 2500W Electric Heaters, Oil Filled Radiators, are powerful and feature-rich devices that provide excellent heating and smart control options. Despite a few minor drawbacks, they’re a solid investment for those looking to efficiently heat their home with modern conveniences.
Easy to assemble feet, no tools needed grab handle easy to clip in with stable feel. Great option for 1,2or 3 rooms. Saves whole house heat loss. I have no idea of it’s individual consumption but kicks out tonnes of heat even at low levels and of course the use of remote controlled setting which I’ve not tried might be useful in some situations. So good to move around the dogs room due to it’s easy mobility and medium size. Hope it gives years of function.
A few flaws but nothing major. No handle when it’s hot, no touch or moving! Not entirely sure how much heat the circuits for the touch screen going to handle – fear it may just die one day!
Films in between extremely thin, concern it may bend with small amount of force.
If I turn it upside down, pretty sure I should not hear the oil moving a lot and thus makes me think it’s half full (not heavy as I expected).
WiFi app is annoying, needs to work under 2.4ghz.
Will update in a week time on energy efficiency.
I have been using this little radiator for a few weeks now and it’s brilliant!
It looks very high tech with its large LED display and black finish, and made to a very high standard.
It has four castors, so easy to move into position and a remote control covering all functions, though the symbols on the remote and screen can be a little confusing at first. There are 3 heating modes (I have it on the ECO mode which is absolutely perfect)
I have it in my ‘work from home’ office which is 10 metres square and after a few minutes turned on will make the room very toasty. I haven’t been able to say how much electricity it’s using but after a lot of research it appears that these oil filled radiators are pretty cheap to run, and certainly cheaper than keeping the gas central heating on all day.
Finally it has a wifi connection and this links to the amazing “Smart Life” app on my phone (that I have several other devices connected to) which never lets me down. You can set timers and you can use Alexa/Google to turn it on and off. All works flawlessly.
The negatives are small. I wish the power cable was a bit longer, it’s only about 1.5m long and so you need to be near to a socket. Secondly the temperature on the display doesn’t reflect the room temperature. I set it to 15 degrees and the room is at 21 degrees. Unless this is a minimum temperature, it’s not clear.
For the price, you get a reliable, stylish and fully connected radiator, perfect for the current energy crisis we are in.
Generally seems to function as you would expect.
I’m not sure how energy efficient it’ll be given that it’s black and conducts rather than reflects, but it looks really good with the rest of my black/white/grey decor.
My only major qualm is to do with the app. Although I love the fact that I can switch the heater on ahead of going into my room, the app doesn’t reflect the settings as you’d think.
In the attached example screenshot, the heater is “off”, and the screen is also “off”. Sometimes it’s the other way around. It has a mind of its own
I could be leaving the heater on and going out thinking it’s switched off
Does what it’s supposed to do on the tin.
ONLY disappointing thing, I wish you could change the screen brightness.
Rather then on and off only 🙁
Just got it so cant say a lot, but easy to setup. Very easy connect to wifi and setup app for heater. Warm up very quick. And remote controller very helpful
