I’ve had the Weber manufactured rotisserie ring for my 57cm for a while now but as far as I know, Weber don’t do a 47cm version. This is perfect and I would say better than the Weber as it has a flange on the bottom of the ring that sits over the base of the kettle rather than in it like the Weber, which in my experience is slightly unstable.
The only thing to watch out for is the boss that slides onto the bar that sits in the cutout. The head will catch the lid of the Weber as it rotates so you’ll need to check that when switching it on. I had to adjust it. No big deal.
I haven’t used the pizza stone yet but the chicken we cooked came out perfect. I would recommend this product.
The Rotisserie worked as I would expect, however the pizza feature did not seem to be as good, I gave it the benefit of the doubt and put it down to my BBQ not hot enough.
I couldn’t find anything from Weber or other sources that would effectively raise the height of the kettle lid so that I could cook a whole chicken without the lid touching it. Eventually I found this after being out of stock for a long long long time.
It was expensive but fitted the bill, which was stainless steel, fits the 47cm Weber kettle.
The fit is perfect. The motor is almost silent. Very easy to put together and the pizza and stone and scooper thingy is a real bonus for the summer.
I would highly recommend this of you want to cook bigger lumps of meat. Very pleased with mine. Even though it was expensive, I do feel that it’s value for money, much thicker metal than I was expecting. Only warning would be that the pressed stainless steel ring could slice your fingers if you slide them along the edges.
