Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is really great fun and has loads of different masks available via the app. It’s easy to use and you can even put a picture of yourself as the mask or anyone you want! It also has an equaliser when you play music. So much fun .. not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for .. it’s amazing!

Actually this is really good and now that Halloween is upon us at the time of writing it couldn’t be more appropriate to review.

Download the app and you can change the preset faces and even upload your own. Lots to choose from.

One things I do not like is the rubber eye mask area which comes into contact to your face. It is not comfortable or I would be bold enough to say compatible for glasses wearers.

Apart from that .. yeah, it’s pretty cool. 71 does seem steep but I am not familiar with the technology so I can’t judge to say whether it’s expensive or not. Either way it’s great fun and seems to be built to last more than one hallowee

    quite impressive

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is an LED mask which works really well in the dark and is very disappointing in daylight. I think this is as you would expect for this type of things and is aimed at Halloween or fancy dress parties.

The mask charges quickly and can be worn for two or three hours lit up. It is quite comfortable to use, is adjustable and can be worn for long periods.

The mask has plenty of standard pictures / animations some of which work better than others, look at the video to see the full range of the standards supplied.

The mask can be used with its own app to control the brightness or upload custom pictures however I have not really had success with this, I think you need to find a simple and striking enough picture to use.

I wore this to a fancy dress party and got alot of positive comments and people wanted to try it out. It is expensive so you need to use it alot to get good value out of it.

I was surprised at just how much versatility there was in this mask, as I thought there would just be a couple of lacklustre options.

The mask itself is a little like a welder’s mask, big and chunk to fit in all the LEDs and other wizardry. IT’s not uncomfortable to wear, at least not in short doses, but vision is severely limited to pretty much only what’s in front of you.

A phone and associated app is needed 100% or you’ll be unable to use it. Connection is easy, and the app is pretty intuitive.

    – A range of animated faces.
    – A range of static faces.
    – The ability to import photos and alight with the face/eye template

It’s a really fun mask, great for Halloween, fancy dress, any time really.

Most of the default images look great, but the image quality of imported photos does vary wildly depending on several factors. The LEDs are pretty big, so you lose a great deal of detail and images therefore can look very blurry when close-up.

Super versatile though with varying image quality

Can’t say this is anything more than average.
The view when wearing is quite restricted so i wouldn’t want to walk around outdoors in it
The brightness is okay in the dark with a hood on it’s quite effective.
    Haven’t tried the app yet.

Incredibly good and can’t wait to use on halloween. A great product with a range of uses. Fantastic technology and high-quality. Can’t wait until party season!

If you’re looking for something a little bit different this Halloween, then this versatile LED multifunction mask from Pakuyi could be just the thing.

It’s very well made and straightforward in its function. The app is easy to install and navigate and connects without issue to the device though it can be used without the app via the simple buttons that navigate through the different effects and displays. It’s great for content creation and makes for interesting videos and live streaming where it’s possible to express your mood through the mask without speaking. It’s just good fun and it’s very effective overall.

Thanks for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful.

What a mask! I honestly did not think having all this technology on your face is a good thing and could actually work but boy am I wrong!

The app is a bit fiddly and doesn’t look very good, not conforming to modern UI standards but works ok!

The screen itself is bright and the faces look very real and at night in the darks it looks incredible especially if you’re wearing all black!

Charging is easy with the usb connection and an indicator to let you know it’s charging.

Doesn’t hurt whilst wearing for long periods and easy to see out of, overall, this is a great LED mask the future for Halloween!

    The future of Halloween costumes!

This light up mask is perfect for uploading a mask video to Youtube as it will help get more attention.

The light up mask is controlled by the exclusive APP-Shining Mask, which can change the picture arbitrarily, upload the picture, adjust the brightness and display mode, etc. It includes 70 pictures, 45 animations, pattern/text DIY, photo upload and music rhythm. Moreover, it is designed with adjustable shoulder straps to fit most adults and children’s faces. And the inner side is made of soft silicone material. The light up mask adopts 2074 2121 RGB lamp beads, which has the advantages of high brightness and long service life.

I must say that this is a very fun and cool costume idea for halloween. A battery indicator began to light up on the front of the mask as it quickly charged which is something I like. Additionally, this briefly flashes when the mask is turned on. When I first switched the mask on, I was surprised by how many pre-loaded displays it contained; I just pressed the power button to cycle through them. While some of them are just patterns and others have a scary theme, all of them are animated and have gorgeous aesthetics. Many of them do an excellent job of hiding the eye holes in the mask.

All in all, this mask has truly impressed me. Although pricey, it has a great appearance, is comfortable to wear, and has long battery life.

This LED mask comes boxed with instructions and charging cable. It recharges via USB so no wires or batteries are needed. Build quality looks very good, it doesn’t feel cheap at all. On the top of the mask is the power button and the USB-C charging port. The front of the mask is blank, covered in LEDs with two eyeholes in the middle. On the back of the mask is a thick silicone eyepiece, with an elastic strap at the back that uses velcro so can be adjusted. I had to do that as by default it’s a bit tight on my head. Once loosened, I found the mask quite comfortable though I have to be careful when wearing it as it does rather restrict my field of vision.

Charging the mask didn’t take too long and a battery indicator lights up on the front while it’s happening. This also lights up briefly when the mask is turned on. When I turned it on I was surprised at just how many pre-loaded displays the mask has, you just press the power button to cycle through them. Some are just patterns while others have a horror theme but all of them are animated and all of them look fantastic. Many of them hide the eyeholes in the mask very well.

On its own the mask is excellent but it really shines when paired with the Shining Mask app. The instructions aren’t great so the app is somewhat tricky to get to grips with but it didn’t take me much time to work out how to upload pictures onto the mask, which is a super-cool feature (though a little glitchy). There’s a huge level of customisation options that go well beyond what’s pre-loaded onto the mask, with a variety of still images and text options as well as brightness adjustment, a graphic equaliser mode and gesture control.

Overall I am very impressed with this mask. It’s expensive but it looks fantastic, is comfortable to wear and the battery lasts a good while (you can also connect a power bank to extend the operating time if need be). The app isn’t perfect but it allows so much customisation that I can forgive it its glitches and even without the app the mask offers a lot of variety. I’m more than happy to recommend it.

Very cool customisable LED mask, great quality
