Our English Bulldog was sleeping on our sofas while we were out, so I decided to corner off part of the kitchen. I stumbled across this free standing pet gate. I thought it was a bit pricey but decided to give it a go. I’m absolutely amazed by how beautiful it is, it fits in with our decor beautifully, it’s sturdy and definitely stopped our stubborn bull dog from getting to the sofas, really pleased with this purchase, well worth the money….
We have Newfoundlands and are very pleased with this gate. Primarily we got the gate to keep a Newfy puppy from going out a French Balcony. It is not only very sturdy, but looks amazing, and goes very well with our decor. An attractive addition to our flat.

Ich benutze es , um meinen Katzen den Zugang zum Keller ber die offene Treppen zu gewhren .Ich habe es so aufgestellt , da sie nicht fokusieren knnen , wo sie hinspringen . Sie waren not amused . Es steht jetzt schon gut sechs Wochen da und sie haben noch nicht herausgefunden , wie sie es berwinden knnten . Unbedingt empfehlenswert . Man knnte – bei kleinen Kindern und Hunden eventuell noch ber eine einseitige Wandbefestigung und auf der anderen Seite ein Schliemeschanismus , dann wre es noch sicherer .
We bought this to keep little paws from coming up the stairs and saving the post from death! So far, it has been brilliant. Very sturdy, already to use when delivered. Definitely recommend.
I bought this to prevent our cat from getting out of the front door when people came to check on her while we were away. She is a house cat and has been for 14 years and so if she got out, it could be a disaster. We are looking after her for our son, who is in hospital. There is no assembly required and the gate fits our hallway perfectly. (The hall is over 75 inches wide). The gate is 3 feet tall. It is sturdy enough and high enough to prevent our cat from getting round or over it. It is also an attractive piece of furniture. I could not have found anything more perfect for what we wanted. It has sopped us worrying while we are away from home.
This gate is perfect and just the solution I’ve been looking for to keep my two dogs from getting to the Christmas tree. Both of my dogs are pretty large and this gate is tall enough that they don’t even try to grab ornaments! It came already assembled and has held up really well. I would definitely recommend this gate to keep big dogs away from anything you don’t want them getting into!
I use this gate in three or four different locations around the house to keep my puppy in one area so it’s easier to keep an eye on him. I also use it to keep my two older dogs on the other side if the puppy is trying to sleep or sometimes the puppy wants to play with the other two dogs and they just want to be left alone so if I ever need or want to separate any of them, I can. My 95 lb dog can push this gate open if it’s not set up properly. It needs to be set up in a way where his side of the gate is up against a cabinet or piece of furniture so that even if he pushes on it, it’s not going anywhere. I have included a couple pictures. The puppy has yet to push on it or jump on it. He’s 20 lbs and I hope to use this gate for quite awhile.
This is a nice looking gate which looks so much better than plastic or plain wood. Good for around work areas to keep children out of cables or at the bottom of the stairs.
Pretty impressed with this gate, other than the fact that it is beautiful, it is of really nice quality. I really appreciated the rubber floor protectors at the bottom of each gate panel. It helps to protect the hardwood floor of my apartment and also helps to make the gate more sturdy. Thanks!
My Bernese Mtn dog puppy found most wooden gate/ blockades easy to push open but this item is heavy; well balanced, even against a 60 lb 4 month old determined puppy. It is attractive as well though it does leave scuff marks on the wall. But that occurs when an exuberant puppy tries to shove it aside
I found nothing to complain about with this gate. It was shipped with great packing, perfect condition. Easy to use, looks very nice in the house. I like it a lot. The problem is that my two new and agile six month old kittens love it too. They learned to sail right over it. So I’ve had to use it as discouragement with a six foot folding room divider backing it up. It does keep them from climbing the room divider. Maybe when they’re more settled the gate will be enough, I think it would work to dissuade a less determined cat.
This exceeded my expectations. It’s much heavier than I thought. It is taller and longer than I expected. We use this to block the entrance to our stairs to keep two German Shepards downstairs. I also purchased feet to go with it, but we don’t use them because we can arrange the gate so that it is locked in a place that they cannot gain access to.
We absolutely love this gate! We asked a fence company for an estimate on a gate so we could sit on front porch with our dog. They gave us an estimate of $1200.00! FOR A GATE! So glad I found this gate. It’s very sturdy and has some weight to it. We can free stand it and fold it up when we’re done with it and put behind rockers. Highly recommend this gate. Very well made.

Purchased this for my parents. They have a front porch that has railings but when the dogs go out with them they have to be on a lead (small town with many passing walkers) because there is no gate. This works perfectly with the white fencing and is tall enough to keep the dogs in. They reinforce it with straps to the rail which keeps it firmly in place.
We’re working on modifying door behavior. This is perfect! Let’s me get to the door easily but keeps the dogs at bay. I also have times when I need to block them off, but they get a little impatient if I have to close them in a room, so this way they can still see me & be much more relaxed. Great construction, heavy wood with a finish that you can tell will last a very long time. Waiting for the ‘feet’ to get here, but they really are only going to be needed when I have to stretch this out straight. Leaving it slightly ‘zig-zagged’ it is very sturdy on its own.
This has been an amazing pet gate for our house. It is very smooth and looks very high end. I have seen others with not great experiences with this gate, and I am not sure what is the difference because the one we received is outstanding! We did get the white 4 panel one and I have noticed that many people with bad experiences seem to have gotten the darker color. I am not sure if maybe that color way is built differently but the white version has been excellent. I highly recommend! It is very tall and nice so you don’t have to bend over to open it. It matches very nicely with our decor and has yet to show any type of distress or problems.
This is so useful! I had my doubts as I thought our dog would push it over but she is quite small and gentle and just accepts the boundary the gate provides. A larger dog or a dog determined to get past it probably could, but for a small dog this has been incredibly useful and it can be used anywhere in the house.
Heavier than I thought, but not a problem. It works great for our stairway to block baby and dogs. We have stairs leading down and the thick banister columns at the top are hard to wrap a gate to. This folding gate works and it is too heavy for baby to pull over. You could attach bungee cords to the rails also. It swings open to pass through.
We have the one panel that swings open held to the banister as a wrap around.

We ordered three of the 4-panel gates. I am so pleased with them. They are very sturdy and came well-packaged. Each panel was protected by a styro sheet and the box had plenty of packing material.
We have two male Newfoundlands that weigh approx 150 lbs each. These gates allow us to block off certain areas of our home depending on our guests. When the two 80-year-old grandparents visit it’s important to keep both them and our dogs safe. I would highly recommend.

This is the best thing I’ve ever brought for my dog. It’s heavy, sturdy and fits almost anywhere I put it. I use for blocking hallway and kitchen at mo. Makes it easy for you to get out but not the dog. Can’t review this enough great gate couldn’t be without. Looks nice too with out holes in the wall .
Exactly what I was looking for. Great quality was very impressed. Using it to keep my dogs out of the living room and separated from my baby. It is very heavy so make sure you have a good spot so it doesn’t get knocked over… I tuck one end behind my couch to keep it sturdy.
Absolutely brilliant. The gate is well made and sturdy enough that our dog cannot push it over. It is so flexible in use we can put it top ,middle or bottom of the stairs and use it to stop our dog from going in certain areas of the house. Delivery was quick and I would definitely recommend this product.

Well made and attractive. Used to separate two cats in the house (during orientation period). Could not be easier to set up. Easy to block off a hallway and slide one section open enough to enter and exit. We found that even with the lower height, cat would not try and jump out. Cats always look for something to jump onto- rarely over something.

EDIT: Contacted seller and they are incredibly responsive. They are sending me a new gate ASAP. I am giving the gate back 4 stars For now which is what I would have rated it had it not broken so easily since it was a nice height, weight, and width. I will provide another update after I receive the new gate to mention if that one is sturdier.
Got this gate less than a week ago and it broke after falling over one time. Very disappointed
Used to separate visiting dogs from our own. It stands well near the bottom of the stairs enabling us to move it as a gate at either end. Quite tall and heavy. Does the job well.

Absolutely perfect. I have a rehomed dog that has escaped onto a fairly main village road twice … and I was permanently terrified to answer the door. No problem now. I can move these gates to anywhere around the house. A bit heavy, but that also makes them sturdy. Brilliant. I am now more relaxed.

I have 3 cats of my own and I wanted to foster another pet – and to create a divide between the two spaces I was looking for the perfect pet gate. This honestly was the best solution. All I had to do was take it out of the box and just lay it where I wanted, and it was done. The no assembly feature is so nice and the sturdiness of the gate is pretty great as well.
I think it’s a great value for my needs. I just need to keep my dog out of a certain area and it is more of a boundary tool than something that will physically keep him contained on its own. He’s usually too lazy to resist the physical obstacle, but he could easily ram into it or overcome it if there was a steak sitting on the other side. On another note, I especially love that it’s ready to use out of the box with no assembly required.

I used this product to block the stairs to prevent my dog going upstairs after surgery. The reason for the 4 stars is that it is very heavy and needs securing. If it fell on a pet it could cause injury.

Looks beautiful in my home but unfortunately slides very easy on the laminate wooden floor so 9 week old pup is able to open and get out! I think it’d be perfect if the bottom had rubber on it.

Very well made. We got the white one. It’s very sturdy and my two dogs don’t even try to go over and they are large dogs 45lbs & 80lbs. Don’t need the anchors as it sits nicely. If your dog is spastic and jumps on everything though, this may not be for you. I would give 5 stars, but the gate smelled like chemicals when I got it so I had to air it out a few days outside. It’s like a bad breath smell which wasn’t pleasant but it’s better now that it’s been aired out a few days from the box.
Love the gate, but somehow my little Yorkie has figured out how to push it open! Anyone else experiencing this? If so how did you stop it?

Purchased to keep our naughty Frenchie puppy out of part of the sitting room. Good quality, quite heavy and stands well as long as in a zig zag stance. Quite tall so keeps him out safely. Definitely better than having a clothes horse lying on it’s side!
