Absolutely fantastic heater keeps the room nice and warm doesn’t cost the Earth to run would highly recommend
Great for warming a single room rather than have heating on for whole house. Instant heat and very quie
bought this to warm the lounge up as not putting heating on and this does the job
not big but it def throws out nice heat and it oscilates which is good too
A great heating unit to run which is much cheaper to use than domestic gas heating. Has variable temperature select & thermostat detection.
It also bears two heat setting Lo or Hi, I’ve never needed it on high.
Plus oscillation movement included.
Great heater warms the room very quickly , not had to put my heating on yet with this little heater , will be purchasing another one today , very quiet worth the money & saving energy .
Excellent little heater – even on a low setting its very quick to warm up the room… I am seriously considering buying a second one though I have to say that this one is easy to move around because the outside never gets hot… Very pleased.
Purchased this heater to replace my old halogen heater I’ve had for 7 years .
This PELONIS Electric Heater is Smaller than I imagined it would be ! But saying that it does Heat my medium size Front room Extremely fast.
It seems well made and Stands sturdy on its feet . There is a handy handle cut out at the back . Comes with a long length plug lead which is good
At the top there are Two round rotating settings, The LEFT side being the setting you set for the temperature and on Right hand side setting is for rotate and high or low heat flow .
Once you have set the desired heat setting on (left side) the heater will heat up to that temperature and switch off once reaching temperature.
It definitely heats room up quickly and the heat it provides seems to stay longer in the room .
I’ve had the heater a few weeks now and I can say it’s NOT AN ENERGY SAVING HEATER far more expensive than my old halogen heater to run but saying that this heater does switch off once temperature reaches so its not constantly running which is Good.
All in all I’m happy with the heater
I do on the other hand think it’s a tad expensive for the size of the heater but Prices these days have skyrocketed
I also hope it lasts as long as my old trusty 7 year old halogen? Time will tell .
I’ve uploaded some pictures so you can take a closer look.
I hope someone has Found this Review Helpful thank you
Much cheaper than central heating and heats up a room very quickly. So good I have now got two of them. Great value for money.
Great heater – warms the room very quickly. Easy to use, very portable. Highly recommended.
Easy to carry to another room. Simple operation even for an 88 year old.
I purchased this to use in our bedroom when we retired for the night and switch the central heating off. It heats our double bedroom quickly – in under 10 mins – and we have never felt the need to turn it on again or keep it on after that period of time. It is only October at the moment and the weather is still relatively mild but I would certainly recommend this product as it does exactly what we wanted it to do and that was to heat a single room quickly – without the need to heat our entire house using our central heating. I have no idea how much it costs to run this for 10 minutes but it surely must be less than having to turn the heating on for the whole house (at least I hope that it is.)
Remarkable warmth generator from such a relatively small heater. Stands about 18 inches high and is very neat in design. The actual heat controls are simple but don’t offer a lot of options, but as it is only used as a backup heat source this is not a problem. The publicity pictures give the impression of there being some form of glow coming from the front grill, sadly there isn’t, just a red pilot light telling you the unit is on.
Been using it to keep medium room warm for exotic animals (invertebrates) for about a month now. Low + high setting are appropriate. Power consumption as expected. Not loud. I can sleep with it intermittently running. The thermostat works well. for those who aren’t sure, it means you set the dial to a temperature and it turns on by it’s self when temp drops below what you set. Particularly good for a room with tarantula enclosures as it creates some airflow when running. Use as intended and keep kids/dogs/cats away from it. Cheers!
It heats the room up very quickly is easy to carry from room to room, it gives a quick boost when your dressing in the morning, warms the room in a couple of mins when youve been out, dont know about the cost of running yet as iv only had it a couple of days
We have used the heater to warm up a room quickly without having to put the central heating on.
Excellent heater spoiled only by the poorly designed carrying handle. This makes it trickly to carrry comfortably or safely
ex. to use keeps my legs warm when I am on computer.
It arrived today. Tried it out tonight and the heat is almost instant. So useful to keep me toasty while using my laptop and it will save money in the long run by offering good heat without putting the central heating on. A winner I think.
Useful for my office – turns itself off and back on again as and when required
I thought it would be slightly more powerful than it is , but it’s ok
Was really good, and great for camping provided lots of warmth in the cold te
Highly impressed with this heater. I like how it is adjustable and it heats my downstairs living room amazingly! I can keep it on low if it gets too hot. Highly recommended.
Oue boiler broke leaving us without heating during a cold spell. This heater worked well at heating one room with the door closed quickly and efficiently so the week without heating was more bearable.
It was reassuring that it has an anti tip safety feature where it cuts out instantly if it’s not upright.
Good value for money.
This PELONIS Ceramic Space Heater 2000W with Adjustable Thermostat – 4 Heat Setting, Portable Electric Heater -70 Oscillation 7 Slant 20% Wider Coverage, Tip-Over & Overheat Protection (White) is great! Nice quality! Easy to use! easy to heat up! It does swivel! and has 4 heat setting! Good value for money
The upward tilt of this design means that it warms the body and not just your feet and legs.
It has a safety tilt setting to turn off if it is knocked over. There is also a thermostat too which will automate when it comes on or off. I also have this plugged into a smart socket so can control it coming on that way too
I’ve been using this for the last month to replace my old oiled filled radiator and this has been a big step up. It heats up my medium-sized front room in half the time and quickly stops my hands from freezing up!
A handy feature is that it has a thermostat inbuilt so you can set it to turn off when it reaches a certain temperature, it doesn’t have marking of exact temperature in degrees so it took a bit of fiddling to find the right setting. It’s worth also noting that the front gets pretty hot when left on for longer periods of time so I keep it in the corner so I don’t accidentally knock it. Although it does have fall detection so it will shut off if it falls over.
As for the price, I am pretty happy with it because the old one cost a lot more. It does the job well and so far it’s been a real comfort in these colder days.
Excellent heater. I have been using this in the bedroom to get it warm at night so I don’t need to warm up the whole of the upstairs (we don’t really use the spare rooms). It gets the room nice and toasty very quickly. The heat is provides remains unlike other heaters that make it feel warm and the second you turn them off, the room becomes as chilly as a walk-in freezer.
The oscillation feature is pretty good, especially if using it in a larger room and trying to get even distribution of the heat. If it tips over, it turns off which is a great safety feature and it looks fairly sleek and modern. Works well without taking up a lot of room.
This heater is quick and effective at getting heat into your room in a short space of time. It is simple to use with just two dials on the top – the left one is the thermostatic control so if you get the space to a heat that you’re happy with simply rotate this dial anti-clockwise until it clicks and the device powers off but it will turn back on when it detects the ambient temperature has dropped below that level. The right hand dial lets you change between high/low output with oscillation, high/low without oscillation, and an ‘off’ position in the centre.
That’s all there is to it. It might have been nice to include a timer perhaps.
Visually, there is only the light on the top of the front to indicate that the device is operating – rather than the whole thing lighting up like the marketing images might suggest. The slightly upward slant is subtle but potentially means you ‘feel’ the effect of it more if you have it situated on the floor and are sat at a desk about 10 feet away.
The only other feature is a safety cut-out if it gets knocked over – which is a nice thing to have especially if you have pets or clumsy people who might knock things and not notice.
It’s fairly quiet in operation with it having an in-built fan and an oscillation motor, but it’s not whisper quiet.
For a price of c. 50 (at time of review) that feels perhaps a little more expensive than it should be, but it is relatively effective and provided you use it efficiently and make use of the thermostatic control then it could prove a worthwhile investment.
This is a really fast and efficient portable heater! It has a simple operation with two dials, one is an adjustable thermostat and the other is for low or high heating, low or high oscillation, and turning the heater off. The build quality is excellent. It does a great job of keeping small spaces perfectly heated. Pleasant, cosy warmth and an oscillating option for better heat dispersal in multiple directions. It’s slightly slanted, which is excellent as I can feel the heat more. It has a carrying handle for easy transport. Safety has a tip-over switch with auto shut-off and overheats protection with auto shut-off, which gives me peace of mind. Overall nice and compact, perfect for those colder days, provides instant heat and has a room warm in no time.
For such a physically small unit, this heater is powerful. It heats fast, in well under 90 seconds the room starts to feel warm. The oscillation feature over a wide angle helps distribute heat fast. When alone, it can be made to be directional.
Built quality is very good.
I ordered this Pelonis tower heater for my Conservatory in the winter months.
Supplied in a branded box in excellent condition.
Small compact tower heater, very mobile as quite light with built in handle.
Excellent design, tower is slanted at 7degrees which means heat is direct towards you and not the floor. Although it is slanted the base is very robust, flat bigger than unit which prevents heater being knocked over.
Easy simple 2 knobs to function, one for heating modes with a choice of 4 settings with other knob for temperature.
Very quiet providing a breath of warm air into room, does not overheat but front grill does get hot to touch.
Overall, this heater works very well and is very economical compared to other electric heaters. Very powerful 2000W and vey good value for money.
I would recommend this product.
We have a large bedroom and it gets really cold in there in the nights. This heater warms the room up within about 2 minutes. I was a bit worried about the noise as it’s in a bedroom but it is reasonably quiet, the rotation from side to side does seem a little noisy, so I just leave that turned off most of the time.
It is so easy to use, quickly and quietly heats the room to desired temperature and then the eco mode maintains the room temperature with maximum efficiency, and no smell like some electric heaters.
Good size, an elegant narrow shape, it doesn’t take up too much space. Build is solid, very light weight and slim , so fits in most places and very handy to move around the house when needed.
As far as the price is concerned, I mean, It’s a bit difficult to justify the price, but if it lasts longer than the cheaper small fan heaters (that usually stop working or become electrically unsafe after a few months) then it will be a worthwhile investment.
Overall Great design, simple operation, not too noisy and fairly cheap to run. it is excellent in its performance, Very affective, gives you instant heat at a touch of a button. So far this heater works well, I’m More than happy with it.
This compact electric fan heater is fantastic and easily warms up a standard size living/bedroom within a few minutes. The heater is very sturdy and uses decent quality thick mains cable so it can handle the high current requirements perfectly fine. There are two controls on top of the heater which let you adjust the cutoff level as well as adjusting the temperature of the heater so dead simple to use so if you have small fan heaters the controlls will respond in the same way. We’ve been leaving this on throughout the night instead of using the central heating to keep our bedroom warm and have had no issues what so ever so l’ve got no hesitation in recommending this heater it is amazing value for the price and is dead simple to use.
This heater has a slimline design which I personally much prefer to the heftier looking/traditional style electric heaters. It distributes heat well and quickly, the functions are simple but easy to use and it oscillates well. It can get quite hot to the touch so I’d be mindful around little ones/pets but otherwise no real complaints.
For occasional/evening use in a small area instead of putting full heating on, this is a good option. This does cost more though if ran over long periods in terms of electricity so I wouldn’t use it constantly. But no real complaints it’s a good solid unit.
Great heater that gives out substantial heat to warm up any room.
Turn switch to turn temperature up or town and another to turn on, off or oscillate.
Slim sleek design that doesn’t take up too much room.
The base is very sturdy and the cord is a decent length.
Well packed. Highly recommend. Thank you
I like the upright slim tower design of this heater. It takes up very little space and can be placed on the floor or on the table. I am using it in my yoga room to heat up for 10 minutes before my practice starts. It heats up the room very quickly.
It can stay static or rotate. It can be set at lower or higher power according to your needs.
I have 3 cats and 1 dog so I need to make sure this heater is safe to use in the house. It will stop working if its moved or knocked over.
I am also using it to help dry my dog after bath. He enjoys the warmth the heater brings him very much.
I got this for use in my garage to take the edge off the winter coldness for when I go in there to do some work or exercise. It’s normally a very cold space even in the summer it’s considerably cooler than outside. This heater is ideal as it takes up barely any room due to its low height.
It is highly functional and heats up the garage quickly, within minutes the area becomes much more comfortable and the winter chill is gone. Within five to ten minutes I’d consider it a warm space.
The heater makes very little noise, even when oscillating.
The dials are simple and easy to use.
The only thing I didn’t like was the base. Although nice and sturdy I feel it could benefit from some kind of rubberised strips for gripping to smooth surfaces.
With its fast heating up time of around 2 seconds, this Pelonis 2000W ceramic tower heater delivers a powerful and constant level of heat. With 70 oscillation, it radiates to a coverage area of around 6 feet. offering a steady comfortable temperature. The 4 Heating modes range from High(2000W) to Low (1200W) on static or rotating mode. It’s relatively quiet at 50dB max although I wouldn’t recommend sleeping with the unit in operation for safety’s sake. The unit is steady and has a built-in carrying handle for ease of transportation around the room. It’s ideal for colder rooms in the house and saves the need of switching the central heating on when it gets a little chilly. It presents relatively good value at 1kw per hour when ran at 2000w max power which may well represent a saving on the cost of running central heating at today’s inflated gas prices.
In summary, It’s a good thing for occasional use and I’d happily recommend it.
A very useful little heater. Light and portable but quite stable. There are safety features built in like automatic cut-off if it were to get knocked over. There are two dials to control the heat/fan. One dial gives two heat settings high and low, and the option for each to have fan oscillate or not. The other dial is an overall heat setting between Min and Max though this is not callibrated and can’t be adjusted to a particular temperature in degrees. It does, however, have a thermostat which cuts the fan off when the unspecified temperature is reached and back on when the temperature drops. This isn’t clearly mentioned in the instruction booklet, though the info can be gleaned from the confusing table on p5. The booklet stresses that this is intended as a spot heat source and not as a main source of heating (though it could probably help you through an emergency). All in all a useful source of supplementary heating
I love the slant, which means my whole body gets warm instead of just my feet and knees. Heat rises of course but this leaning tower of Pisa tilt ensures the whole of me is warm and cosy quickly, rather than waiting for the room to heat up. The fan feels more stable too and I can appreciate the fact that it won’t be knocked over easily. Efficient output and a decent thermostat, so you can put on the setting you want and leave it. Ok, with current energy prices any fan heater is going to be expensive to run – this is 2000 kw, and as your energy bill will give prices per kilowatt hour (ie, for something using 1000kw) you’ll need to double that, if you’re using it on full power. But on average, and this is only a rough estimate, it’s going to cost between 25p and 50p an hour, more or less. I’m using this in our conservatory for my arty crafty projects when the heating isn’t on, and it’s brilliant at warming the room for the few hours I need (I tend to keep it on low, just personal preference). It looks smart and it works well, but I do think it’s a little pricey. I’d give it 4.5 stars.
Fantastic heater with variable heat settings. You have to manually turn the dials located to top of the heater to select the functions you want.
I keep it on the level 2 heating setting with the ocilating function engaged this way the heat is dispursed over a larger area and not just in one direction.
It does have an integral timer switch that will switch the machine off when it reaches it’s temperature limit then will switch itself on again a few minutes later ( guess this is to prevent the machine form over heating).
I also have plugged into a separate timer switch plug ( this is not included in the product). This way it only switches the heater on for the timed settings I want it to be on during the day or night.
So far at least I am pressed by this. It is made with good quality plastic. Everything seems well put together. Whilst I don’t think I could describe it as elegant, it is not hideous. In fact is is fairly compact and the tilt is quite pleasing. It heats up quickly and puts out 2kw. We use it as a top up for instant heat, but I guess you could heat a smallish room completely.
12 month warranty is reassuring. Happy to recommend.
The upright fan heater does indeed work well with a choice of two heat levels and optional swing of 20 degrees.
It does have a safety tilt switch inside (not a plunger sticking out of the base).
The thermostat makes a conventional “click” noise and set at minimum equals about 5c for frost protection use (turns off heating element and fan).
In low it uses 1,100 Watts and in high just over 2000 Watts.
On my current tariff in Jan 2022 of over 22p per Kwh it could cost over 44 Pence an hour to run (on high setting an on 100% of the time).
It looks good and has a power connected indicator light to remind you it is turned but off by the thermostat.
Given the discount on the normal price – at time of review – the Pelonis PTC heater represents fair value for money. It does heat up within seconds; the controls (physical – not touch type) are clear and accurate.
What lets it down for me is the poor quality of plastics used in the body construction. It is almost what I would expect of a child’s toy: albeit a visually appealing unit.
The Heater is well made, long rugged well insulated cable well capable for the 2kW power it uses and should be plugged directly into a wall socket, not an extension cord etc, for safer use.
The heater when plugged in has two knobs at the top, one is a temp/thermostat control that automatically switches on when the temp in the room is lower that it is set at, and this can be adjusted to how comfortable you are in the room whilst in use, just turn on full, then when it is warm enough that you like it, turn the temp knob beck until it has a click sound, then the heater stops, after the room will stay approx. at the same warmth you have it at, if it senses the temp is colder, it will automatically turn on and get the room temp back up to that comfortable temp again. This only works as well as the environment it is in, and nobody keeps messing with it! (or moving the heater about from room to room)
Also, it has a setting for low power (1.2kW) or high power (2.0kW) and can be used in the oscillating mode or without, using the other selector knob on the right of the heater) the central position in this knob is power OFF, and will not be able to be used at all in this mode, nor will it be used to sense temperature in the rooms.
There is an Frost protection, in that if the heater is set to min temp, on wither the low or high modes, it will turn on and heat the room up to about and keep it at 5C, if it senses the temp is under this.
There is no orange radiating glow that the pictures seem to indicate, although there is a small red light at the front to show when it is powered on a HI or LO setting, and ready to switch on when the temperature falls, or is switched on in use.
There is a few instruction in the box, in various languages, but seems to omit the thermostat setting in great detail.
There is a tip protection, that cuts the power it tips over accidently, or overheats etc.
Please keep away from babies and small children, they can still be burned if they touch it or approach it when it is being used, or in cooling down.
With my usual panel heater commandeered for use somewhere else in the house, I needed something to quickly heat my study/office when the central heating is not on.
This came well packaged in a retail box and inside you get the heater, with attached power cord and Instructions. It is very easy to use, with Lo & Hi heat setting, with either rotating or static mode. You also get a Min/Max dial for the temperature but sadly no thermostat.
My room is approx. 6m x 3m, which means it is at the lower end of the max sized room this is suited for at 35sqr/m. It does a good job of heating the room and is not overly noisy. Obviously is does have a fan running in it and is noisier than say my PC. I have it at one end and tend to sit at the other and it keeps me nice and warm. It is also quite compact, handy as space can get a bit tight at times.
There is a black wire mesh at the front and when on full power, the outer part of which is not too hot. However, the central area, where the heating panel is, is too hot to touch. I would not want to have anything resting against this part.
It looks to be well made and sturdy enough, but I do think it is pricy at 53.99.
I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.
NB. For a sizing guide, squares in photos are 1cm.
This is a good sized heater which has a modern, elegant look – which isn’t easy for a heater!
It was quick to heat up, I initially tried it on its maximum setting – it was to hot, so turned it down around half way. It throws out a lot of heat & due to a slight upward tilt, it ensures all heat is directed into the room, rather than towards the floor.
I’ve uploaded a video so you can judge the oscillation and noise level (which I found to be on the quieter side in comparison with other blow heaters I’ve owned).
First impressions are very positive, but I’ll be sure to update this review in the future should that opinion change.
Overall, at this moment in time – I’m very happy to recommend this heater to anyone looking for a sturdy & efficient blow heater.
I found this heater of an ideal size to stand next to my chair and cover both me and my husband at the same time. Our place is well insulated and therefore most of the time we don’t need the gas heater. Sometimes I do like to open my windows for fresh air and on doing that the room temperature drops. I find this heater very handy to provide a quick heating solution in these circumstances.
The heater has low and high heat settings and it also blows light air which makes it more effective. It has an oscillation option which works perfectly and covers around 70 degrees which is good enough to cover two persons sitting in front.
Safety is quite good on it as it comes with an intelligent system that activates if the base is alleviated from the base i.e if the heater falls over it will auto-off. This is very good in a place like ours where we have your kids.
Another feature I like is that it doesn’t light up like my other heater and also the fan noise is quite low therefore I can comfortably use it at night and it does not affect my sleep.
I do hope this review helped you.
