There were many other more expensive products so we were not sure this was going to be a sure bet. It worked great. My wife managed to sleep with this from the first night and it’s been great. We even unzipped the bottom half on this and went on holiday with it. The staff let us carry this onboard the plane no questions asked.

bought this as i was starting to really struggle to sleep coming into my third trimester. it has quickly become my favourite pillow and i don’t even feel the need to use any of my old ones with it! Will definitely continue using it even after baby arrives. 🙂

It’s extremely comfy, and easy to wash the exterior sheet. Well size too, I’m 5’9 and it gets to my knees so no complaints!
Good value for money, I don’t regret the purchase at all

Perfect for my wife who is expecting our first child. She sleeps soundly and comfy with this pillow it’s big though, so it means my bed ‘real estate’ has decreased – but hey, she needs it more than I do.

This pillow is literally a must have when you are pregnant- especially in the later days when you have a big bump. It is so comfortable and i cant sleep without it.
Having the U shape is great because one side supports my bump, and the other side supports my back which is in pain these days. The top portion I do use as a pillow so it is perfect. Well worth it for the price too and its soft and firm but not hard or flimsy.
Only thing is its quite big which is fine for my superking bed but if you have a double bed your partner might complain. Doesnt matter kick your partner out onto the sofa- this pillow is worth it! 🙂

This pillow is great value and I only realised about 3 months in that you can unzip it to make two separate pillows, which is amazing. As a whole it’s a little big and bulky in the bed and takes up so much room – I wish I’d just bought a sausage shaped pillow instead! My partner hates it and wants to throw it out the window.

Only reason I didn’t give 5 starts is because the stuffing could be better quality. However, for the price it is great. It has kept me mostly comfortable throughout my whole pregnancy. One thing I love is that it’s so easy to remove and wash the covers.

I bought this because of the great reviews. It definitely is really comfy, very supportive and creates a big nest around your whole body which is lovely. It comes vacuum packed and says to allow 48hrs for it to fully decompress, but the filling doesn’t puff up evenly so it’s always a little bit lumpy even with a lot of fluffing. It’s improved my sleep so much though!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI love this. I saw there were some mixed reviews but decided the good outweighed the negative and gave it a shot. The pillow come vacuum packed and as recommended, fluffed out and left for 48hrs to give it full shape, although tbh it was fine after 24hrs. I did fluff it up a couple of times whilst it puffing out more but not sure this was needed. I love the design and the detachable leg section. I use this every night and have found it to be so beneficial. Took a couple of days to get used to but I sleep much better now. Started using at 17 weeks pregnant, not sure I could sleep without it now. Doesn’t take up too much space and stays on “my side” of the bed. Partner also finds it comfortable and will cuddle up to it at night 🙂

Brilliant. Took a wee while to shake the lumps out but 100% worth it. I’m not pregnant I just like the support and the comfort and safety feeling when I sleep. Recommend.

Got this for my wife at 20 weeks as she was struggling to sleep and feel supported, this has done the trick!
Definitely follow the instructions on leaving it to fluff up for 48 hours as it makes a world of difference!!

I love it and won’t be without it anymore! I’m 20 weeks pregnant and used to sleep soundly before pregnancy but now every night have trouble sleeping because of all the usual suspects, going to the toilet, can’t get comfortable, tossing and turning etc. I’m usually a front sleeper so it’s quite difficulty to get used to side sleeping. I’ve slept with the pillow 3 nights now and I’ve had the best sleep since becoming pregnant. I feel supported on my side if I want to lean back, my arm doesn’t get squashed under the pillow, the pillow isn’t too firm so that it supports my leg and head softly but doesn’t go completely flat when I lie on it. When I opened it I let it inflate for one night and at first thought it didn’t look as big as in the photos and assumed it wouldn’t be a great help and quite flimsy but it’s been amazing and I won’t sleep without it again.

Having had lower back pain for many months, despite Pilates every day and strength training, I was running out of ideas how to heal it (and so was my GP). I read somewhere that a pillow between the knees helps, but I was doing that for ages already with no affect, as my knees would just slide down or, worse would hurt from lying at a weird angle for hours, ankles lower.
Then I stumbled over this one and figured it couldn’t hurt to try.
It is amazing! The fabric is super silky (important for us curly girls, as it won’t damage your hair if you have your head on it.):
I just took the shorter side off and turned the whole thing basically on it’s head, as I have arthritis in my knees and need a pillow under them when lying on my back watching TV.
When falling asleep, I just hug the whole thing, the “head part” supports my ankles, so the knees don’t hurt, arms under/over while lying on the side and my spine stays perfectly straight all night.

I’m sleeping much better since I have this and my back has started to improve finally.

Quality is lovely too. I washed the case (bit fumbly to get it back in, but practice I guess) in the machine with my other sheets and, taking the risk, even put it in the dryer after. It came out perfect.

Due to the silky fabric, it takes a bit to get used to not sliding off it. But I guess if I can do it in my sleep after a few tries, it’s doable.

This was recommended by someone who had used it following spinal surgery. We’re using it for the same reason. Can’t highlight enough how useful this is for comfort, support and enabling sleep . Thank you .

Bought this pillow to help me not sleep on my back, but take some of the pressure off my hip and shoulder. Seems to be doing a good job of this. Feel like I’ve been sleeping better. Was particularly good using it on the couch as well. Not waking up with a cricked neck. Thanks.

I read the reviews regarding the pillow not inflating once opened with them being vacuumed packed but as soon as I pierced the outer plastic it inflated immediately to a lovely fluffy pillow. Really pleased with this buy as it was bought for a female after having surgery and was a fantastic support in the bed to help relieve the awful discomfort on the abdome

I brought this as I have difficulty getting comfortable in bed due to Rheumatoid Disease. I needed something that would support my back, hips, shoulders & next all at the same time. You need to leave it to ‘fill out’ for thr first 24 hours when it arrives so it gets it’s full shape & plumps up. What a game changer!! Due to it’s large size & versatile arrangement with extra bit that you can unzip, I can arrange this under all the bits that hurt & need support. It’s soft enough to sleep on but firm enough to give support where needed.
The only reason I haven’t given it the full 5 stars is that it can get quite warm during the night from your body heat. It’s been great over the spring nights but I am wondering if it will be too hot to sleep on during the summer nights?
Ayway, don’t let that out you off – It’s worth every penny in my opinion!

Took a little while to get it in the best position, which can be frustrating & exhausting when pregnant, but it was worth it, eventually I turned it up side down and now have the head support at the bottom of the bed, as I just couldn’t sleep with my arm over or under the pillow. Having it that way round actually gives more leg support as it’s the length of the bed now, so have ankle support too. Very glad I got one early in my pregnancy as it has made such a difference to getting a decent nights sleep, esspicaly as my bump grows.
I looked at different options before choosing this one & it is definitely money well spent.

I hadn’t been sleeping well as I’m 14 weeks pregnant and hip discomfort started early in my 2nd pregnancy. I was using a cushion from my lounge to put between my knees but still having to turn so much and move the cushion every time I turned which meant I was awake a lot! So something had to be done, my husband had already fled to the spare room as I was so restless it was keeping him awake. So I invested in this pillow and wow what a difference, I can sleep for so much longer on one side now and feel supported and comfortable. I am 6ft so I still use my own pillow for my head and have turned the pharmedoc cushion around so the head bit is at my feet & have unzipped the bit for my back which I use but push into my back, so when I turn on my right side I use the back bit for my knees, this way I’m not having to drag any cushions over myself in the night. It works extremely well for me.
I feel less hip pain and this has improved my sleep no end!! I am confident as my bump grows that this pillow will exceed itself!

This arrived quickly and well packaged. I left it for 48 hours to puff up after its folding and it puffed up perfectly. I am really impressed with the quality of the pillow and the cover. Mine is the grey cover with stars. It has a detachable section in order for you to move it into a different position, whether under your neck, back or knees. I use it for leg exercises and put the extra under my knees. After lying on it over night, it always comes back to its original size for the next night. You can use it as a big wrap around sit up cushion. There is a info card showing what you can use it for. Love it and have bought a spare cover for it. I have recommended this to other friends and family members who just use their pillows for leg, hip and back support.

I absolutely love this pillow. At first when I bought this I was 16 weeks pregnant. I struggled a week or two to get use to it. Some days I would love it some days I thought I could do without. However as my tummy got bigger. I felt I need more support for my back. This gives me so much support to my back. I feel so comfortable sleeping, this really helped me to sleep on my side more ( I use to sleep on my tummy alot). This pillow helped me sleep on my side more. So glad I got it really early during pregnancy so I got use it in time for my second and third trimester.
I am 26 weeks now and can’t live without it. I have detached the side piece pillow so I have more control of positioning. My husband loves the pillow too. Sometimes when I come to bed late I have to pull it off him as he falls asleep (giving support to his back) lol. I know after I give birth. His gona use it more than me lol. I also use this pillow to give me support under my knee when I watch TV. So I sit up (To avoid laying on my back) and use the end of the pillow (to go under my knees) I always feel the need to bend my knees so this pillow helps. Definitely recommend this.

I would really recommend this pillow for those suffering with back pains during pregnancy. My shoulders were hurting when I tried to sleep on my side all night. This allowed me to lean back a little, giving my back support and allowing me to sleep on my side. It also has support for your hip as you can put the pillow between your legs. Takes up a bit of room on the bed but it’s not too bad. My husband and I sleep on a double and it is not a problem for him.

I’m 12wks pregnant and haven’t been having the best sleep so my husband found and bought this. I am never letting it go – it’s fab! Was delivered 2 days after ordering and I had the BEST nights sleep last night using it. No more aches or turning constantly to get comfy. I read some reviews which said there wasn’t enough stuffing – this is not the case with mine. The instructions said to squish the pillow all over to adjust the filling and this would make sure the pillow puffed up – which it did. The outer cover is very soft and removable for when it needs washing which is also great. I was slightly dubious before buying as it’s not a cheap item but it’s definitely worth every penny!

Had been searching for a body pillow for a while and decided to buy this one as a treat to myself- wish I had bought it sooner! It offers fantastic all around support for a guaranteed great night’s sleep.

I’m not pregnant but do sleep on my sides so was making do with some of my decrotive pillows but this being longer and it staying in place throughout the night offers me the perfect support when I turn over on either side as I sleep- I haven’t slept this well in years!

4 stars because the head section is a little too thick for my personal preference as I’m used to sleeping on a thinner pillow.

Brilliant pillow for pregnancy. I think it’s even helped delay severe SPD symptoms as I didn’t have this pillow in my first pregnancy and suffered from severe SPD from 22 weeks. In this pregnancy I have the occasional twinge but no SPD so far and I’m 29 weeks. However, caution to anyone with sensitive skin. Since using this I’ve had a flare up of eczema on my face, legs and arms (anywhere touching the pillow) due to the pillow cover not being cotton. I initially thought it was perhaps hormonal but realised it the pillow cover. I’ve had to cover it with a cotton bed sheet.

    Well, I’m not pregnant!
But sometimes I feel strong pain in my back as I work in front the computer for long hours.
When at bed, I was not able to find a comfortable position that could help me to relieve the pain in my back and was struggling to sleep with the pillow I had.
After a conversation about my struggle with my heavily pregnant friend, I decided rely on her review and give a try to this product.
And wow!!!! I’m so glad to have bought it!
Also, my sisters bought the product and regret not having heard about it during their pregnancy. According to them, it would be a game changer.
The quality of the product is really good and it arrived super fast in my home.
For those, pregnant or not, that is having trouble to sleep, I’m sure your life is going to change after acquiring this product.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought this when I was 12 weeks pregnant, so I can start getting used to sleeping on my sides as opposed to tummy/back. I’m now 25 weeks pregnant and can’t imagine sleeping without it. I don’t know what I’ll do after delivery because this is the most comfortable pillow ever. I might have to keep using it, because it’s that good! I’ve had perfect sleep ever since I started using it, and I got used to sleeping on my sides very quickly. Sometimes I end up on my back, but I quickly switch to my sides. I like sleeping with my arm under the pillow as it’s more comfortable that way. The cover is easily detachable and machine washable. Very easy to put back on afterwards. Honestly, if you’re thinking about buying this for pregnancy or other medical reasons, don’t hesitate! It will make your life so much easier.

This pillow is large enough which is a reason I bought it. It does take reasonable amount of space despite its large size. It’s useful to have the other part detachable and I used it both with and without it. It took me sometime to figure out what a comfortable position with this pillow is but that comes with time. I used it before and during pregnancy and would still continue if the head support was better – it’s just not as comfortable as a regular pillow. I’d say that after 12 months use the quality is much lower as it was when brand new but I guess that’s expected from a pillow.

I bought this after doing a lot of research to make sure the fabric/quality/shape fitted me well. I’m 5ft1 and it fits well with my height.
I’ve not slept as well as I have since before I was pregnant, that being said I do wish the fabric was somehow made to stay cooler, with the body temperature being higher than usual in pregnancy, I feel like it would have helped. Maybe there should be an option of what fabric cover you want? So it can be used for both pregnant and non pregnant people. Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for extra support. Before using this I was putting and extra pillow in between my legs, this is far better.

Needless to say I’m really pleased with this purchase, my husband calls it “the wall” 🙂

Really like how big this pillow is as it provides support all over. I use the the small pillow one side and bigger bit other side in bed so that when i roll over i don’t have to take the pillow with me. It’s also a great support for sitting, supports back, and big enough to put other parts under your legs.
The major downside for me is that you can only wash the cover on 30 degrees which means it doesn’t get rid of germs to use with my newborn, the amount of spillages etc it needs to be able to be washed on 40.
Also the zip has broken on the larger pillow and I’ve only had it a couple of months.

Golden Review Award: 120 From Our UsersThis pillow is the best pillow. I have tried many pillows, including my husband. While he is very handsome, I regret to say he is an inferior pillow.

This is how I have slept my whole life, on my side while cuddling plush toys or another pillow or yes my husband. None are as comfortable as this pillow, which I can cuddle with my whole body including my stubby legs, all the while very comfortably supporting my head. Unbeknownst to me I have been searching for such a pillow for all my life. This pillow is my OTP, my one true pillow.

I love the easily detachable arm which I can also use to prop me up while reading. I also use it as padding space to ensure there is space by my head for my cat who also loves this pillow and will sleep on the detachable arm. If there was not enough space for my fat cat by my head, undoubtedly he would try to share my pillow and sleep on my face and I would be unable to breathe in my sleep. Dear reader, this pillow is not only helping me sleep but you could even go so far as to say it is saving my life.

Please note I am not, to the best of my knowledge, pregnant.

The pillow is mega comfortable and does fluff up bigger after a day or so. It has helped with some aches and pains although is not a miracle item. I feel supported but I read a lot of reviews saying it would stop me rolling on my back it does sometimes but other times the pillow slips away and I end up on my back so don’t expect it to work 100%.
I was majorly unimpressed by the amount of packaging it came in the sheer volume of plastic it was wrapped in was ridiculous and I actually hurt my back trying to get it out of all the plastic.
Overall though I love the pillow it has helped to make me more comfortable during pregnancy.

Have used this for a month now. This does provides the support you need between your legs, behind your back and under your baby bump when sleeping on your side. It has helped fractionally with my hip pain in the mornings when getting up. However during the night I do get hip pain from sleeping on one side so that I have to change sides to manage it. Maybe just a downside of pregnancy. Good thing is, the way the pillow is designed, you don’t have to rearrange it when changing sides. It has helped with getting better sleep but not completely for me but then I’ve always been a light sleeper. Looking forward to using it for nursing, the versatility is definitely a plus! My Hubby looks at it with envy!

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI’m a back sleeper usually and as I’m quite far along now (almost 7 months), I bought the U shaped pillow to stop myself from rolling onto my back in my sleep. I always put my arm under the thin part of the pillow and it definitely stops me from rolling!

I have recently been getting hip pain but I think I need to have a bit of test to see how I can use the pillow to support effectively.

I’d recommend this for back sleepers and whilst it does take up quite a bit of space in bed, I am able to fall asleep a lot quicker using this!!! I can also see myself using this after our bubba is here so I think it’s going to be more useful than just during pregnancy.

This amazing full body pillow has given me the most comfort my body has felt since suffering from severe sciatica pain. I ordered one for myself at first hoping it would help when sitting, laying and sleeping at night because that’s when my pain would be the worst and told myself if it didn’t help with the pain I’d just make use of it when necessary. I was so happy and satisfied with the price I paid because instantly I felt the most comfort I’ve felt in a long time and it also eased my pain when using it because of the full support it gives your back/sides. I recently ordered another one for my mum who suffers from chronic nerve pain and she absolutely loves it and uses it to sleep with at night! So great for medical use!! Don’t hesitate it’s worth every penny!!!!

I have bought this pillow for my wife and this is what she said:
“I wanted to share this as Im truly impressed by the utility of this pillow! My husband bought it for me as I was complaining too much of waking up at night due to discomfort while pregnant. My problem is that I just love sleeping on my back and no matter what I do I always wake up in this position. It wasn’t a problem at first, but as I progressed through my pregnancy, I realised that it has a massive impact on my sleep! I would wake up 4-6 times per night with discomfort and slight back pain… I knew it has to stop. That’s when I started using Pharmedoc U-shaped pillow and suddenly I stopped waking up at night so often. The pillow provides great support for my back and it prevents me from rolling in bed so I wake up in the same position. The pillow has a detachable element that you can place in between your legs or completely remove, which is great if you want to have a bit more freedom of movement at night. I would highly recommend this product to every mum to be suffering from lower back pain and frequent waking up at night”

I bought this as I’m in week 27 of pregnancy and I like to sleep on my back, and I want to buy something that encourages me to sleep on my side. I’ve used pillows but whenever I turn over they fall to the floor.
This product is supportive, but not too firm or soft. It doesn’t totally prevent me from laying on my back, but my body really likes to sleep on the back!
If you turn a lot in your sleep and if you sleep on a double bed like me with a significant other, one side will start to dangle off the side of the bed, but as they are all attached it’s easy to move back into the bed.
It does not help with my pelvic pain (side sleeping is hell on my pelvis), but this is not the fault of pillow, but rather pregnancy. That being said I like the almost cocoon feature of the pillow.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is the first pregnancy pillow I have ever used, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I did a lot of research before buying.

The pillow comes in a very small box, which is great for delivery. You then need to leave it for 48 hours to puff up to full size. Perhaps this is why some reviewers thought it was a bit flat? It was hard to wait the 48 hours as by this point I was desperate for a better night’s sleep but I think it was worth it.

I find the pillow really comfortable. I like the soft jersey fabric and the volume/consistency of the pillow. I like that it is one piece, before when I went to the toilet in the night I would then have to rearrange five pillows before I could get back into bed. I find that I am less likely to roll onto my back in my sleep. I like that I feel supported from all sides.

I was concerned beforehand that it was so big my partner would be pushed out of the bed but that is not the case.

The only thing I’m not so sure about it the detachable arm. I think it will give the pillow more versatility in the long run perhaps but I think I would prefer it if both sides of the pillow were the same. (Sometimes I still have to swap sides because my hip has gone numb)

Overall I am really happy with my purchase, I think it’s really good value and I suspect I will use it long after my pregnancy ends!
