Pipestation® EU 2 Pin to USB Plug Travel Adapter Charger
Pipestation® EU 2 Pin to USB Plug Travel Adapter Charger | Euro Wall Adaptor with 2 USB Ports | European Universal Power Charging compatible with iPhone Samsung Smartphones Tablet Shaver Toothbrush
Took it on holiday to make sure my devices could be charged overnight and worked brilliantly – does light up though when plugged in so may have to cover that to sleep as a bit bright for me
I’ve had this in daily use for 10 days in France and it performs well charging both I phone and tablet. It’s an excellent product and saves space in packing adapters. It handles one device well and coped with two if required.
Item was delivered in the specified timescale. Not had a chance to try this abroad yet but seems ideal for travel. The item is compact with two USB ports and lightweight, great if you are travelling with just a cabin bag with limited space
Did everything I wanted it to do, perfect when taking 2 devices to Europe. Fitted perfectly into the sockets and has a light on the side to show that it’s connected.
Bought because I find most chargers are so large / heavy the have a tendency to fall out (unsupported) of continental plugs which tend to be located higher on walls than the UK (skirting board) design. This is light enough for that not to be a problem and easy to drop into luggage wherever you’re going.
works fine and compact for packing, the LED is quite bright so if you like a night light its perfect but if you prefer total darkness you may need to cover i
I’ve already had one of those, purchased previously, and needed more for each bathroom to charge tooth brushes and soap dispensers. I also purchased a spare one for traveling. Dose the job and looks good too.
just the job as it does away with the need for 13amp to 2pin adapter and then original charger
straight cable to pone/ tablet etc is all that’s needed
illuminates with green light when plugged into wall socke
With so many devices being charged via USB ports these days there is an ever increasing need for power when on the move. This Pipestation model offers you the basic features you want from such a device at a very decent price. Crucially it is very light and will easily fit into a rucksack or handbag. Secondly, it offers you two ports so, for instance, you can charge a phone and an electric toothbrush/shaver at once in a hotel room (up to 2.1A) . Alternatively it would get a power pack up and running when you need to be out for longer periods. The charger will work in the vast majority of European countries but you will, of course, need your own cables. The device lights up when connected to the mains so you can be visibly sure that you are actually accessing power. At this price, an invaluable addition to your bag when on the road.
Very Light weight and meant we didn’t have to take an english adapter as well. Only downside was that if 2 devices were pug in one was very slow to charge.
What I liked: sturdy; it can charge two devices at a good speed (2.1A total). It also works as a night light, which I found to be a nice feature, but it may bother me next to my bed.
What I did not like: it does not display CE or UKCA marking, so I’m not sure how this is even sold in Europe. It didn’t get warm during charging, but I would not leave it unsupervised.
This adapter is small and lightweight but appears to be fairly sturdy. I particularly like the little green indentations on the sides which will make it easier to insert and extract when using it. I also like the two ports on the one plug. I’m unable to comment on how it works at present as I will have to wait until I go on holiday.
This EU charger is better than one I got earlier, which was slower to charge and with a single port. I kind of like this one, even though it’s not a fast charging adapter.
I couldn’t find my USB measuring stick to check if the ports will split the amperage if I connect two devices, or is it 2.1A per port. But it will definitely be that if you connect one device only.
The plug is quite decently made, it’s fairly compact, which makes it good for travelling. The green lights on the side may be a bit annoying, but at least you know it’s working (they light up when you plug something into the port, not when you plug the adapter into the mains).
It’s still not a fast charger, but it will charge your device with a decent standard speed. Someone wrote that because it has 4 terminals, it’s USB 1.0. It’s not correct, both USB 1.0 and 2.0 will have the 4 terminals, but the latter will deliver more current.
The 5 is ok for this cheap adapter. More expensive versions cost in excess of 10 but will give you additional UK mains sockets, fast USB charging etc. They will be bulkier though. Your choice – I don’t mind this one.
Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

Nothing to dislike-it fitted the Spanish socket well and charged my phones up perfectly
Bought this for a travel trip to Italy to charge our phones. Good quality at a fair price.
Great product, good price, does exactly what I wanted and came quickly
It did get a little hot with 2 appliances plugged into it…but 1 was great. Yes wd recommend

Travelling to Spain or Italy? This is the only adapter you’re going to need, don’t look any further.
Was perfect for our winter break in Egypt so we could keep the phones and kindles fully charged
Very handy to be able to charge two devices at the same time, also it lights up!
Been using it regularly with tooth brush and tooth washing tool. Has a LED on when plugged in.
