I actually bought this to remove dust and debris from my garage it’s strong but the battery life is a 6/10 can got for about 15 mins on highest setting and recharge is quick but altogether was a good buy . 🙂
I found the leaf blower was easy to assemble, having only to twist the two hose extensions on to the blower outlet./ After that the battery clips into place behind, offering a good balance to the handle when using the blower.
Operation is also very straight forward, as it has a simple variable trigger switch exactly under the handle where my first finger lands when holding it. IN addition there is a push button boost (turbo) click on/click off switch immediately above where my thumb can reach it.
Some things to note about this blower:
1- It’s not quiet. LIke most blowers,m it makes a bit of din, as it has a powerful motor and the blower tube readily resonates with the airflow to amplify the sound.
2- IT has one battery, and it quickly runs down, especially if you are using it on turbo mode. ON a full charge I got about 12 minutes in turbo mode.
3- Non-turbo mode is fine for dry leaves and patio dust, but wet leaves needs the full power button depressed, so if your garden is large, you could be left with no blower after a short time.
4- It’s a BLOWER only, NOT a vacuum, as the description implies. If it hasn’t got a bag, it isn’t a vacuum. that goes for all these devices, whatever the make.
5- The battery has a row of LEDs to indicate the charge remaining when I push the small test button . However, this battery indicator faces inwards, and therefore can’t be accessed when the battery is in situ. I have to unclip it to test the remaining battery. Silly design fault.
Is it any good?
Yes, it definitely send s powerful blast of air and is easy to control, being lightweight and cordless. I wish it had two batteries though, for the price of 100, this would have made a 5 star feature. You see, when that battery exhausts, it’s a long two hours on charge before you’re back in business again. 2 x batteries please!
My expectations about this were not great. In fact this is a very good leaf blower. It was easy to assemble. The battery was partially charged on arrival and I gave it a boost so that it was full. I then set to blowing a large area of (very wet) leaves under a mulberry tree. I thought it would struggle to move the leaves which are sticky because they are so wet. I was wrong it moved them without any great problem.
The battery lasted very well. The blower is reasonably lightweight and easily manoeuvrable.
It is not cheap (99 at the time of this review) but given how effective it is I think that is a fair price.
Brilliant piece of kit. I didnt think it would be very powerful but pleasently supprised.
