More details: I connected the new scanner to my Windows 10 laptop by USB. Downloaded and installed the software from the website as indicated by the instruction sheet. It immediately found the scanner and I was able to do some successful test scans right away. Total time from opening the box to a scanned image on my computer was about five minutes. Very nice.
Never heard of raven before but I can highly recommend this unit it is so easy to set up and if you do have issues ravens customer service is there to help you out. I am digitising all my paper docs and the speed at which this scanner scans docs is amazing.
If you are in the market for a scanner look no further.
The scanner and software interfaces are very user friendly. I would leave a favorable first impression.
Instructions and profile setup were simple. Meets my expectations so far.
I purchased the Raven Standard scanner last month taking advantage of the $100.00 discount. As it turns out the scanner preforms beautifully. It handles paper much better than my old Scansnap 300.
I can still deliver the scans to the Scansnap organizer software, which does a great job organizing all the scans into folders.
Another perk is that Raven sells spare rollers which can easily be replaced by the user.
I highly recommend this scanner.
High quality scanner, good customer relations. Days after buying the scanner, a customer service representative reached out to me to ask how I liked the scanner, and interview me for my feedback. I do really like the scanner, and it functions quite well.
My one issue: It seems to be finnicky with older motherboards. I do not attribute this to a problem with their scanner, per se, but more with the interfacing with new technology vs. old firmware. Eventually I was able to get the scanner working properly, but getting the drivers on an older machine was a moderate challenge.
Otherwise: Machine runs fantastically, and I would recommend Raven scanners to anyone.
Fonctionne super bien. Tout de meme facile a installer pour mes 57 ans et pas grande connaissance informatique. Fait automatiquement des PDF ce qui est super, peut faire recto verso aux choix. Envoi dans un dossier, par courriel a une personne. Super a date pour mes besoins et rapide en plus. Comparable a snapscan moins le prix.
Easy Setup, scans front and back of pages quickly, and has an auto seperate setting to scan multiple docs and auto split them up
This is the first day that I have owned this scanner. So far, I love it! It scans very fast, and the output quality is amazing.
Had tried other scanners over the years. Apparently the software of the last scanner I had is no longer supported. Decided to try Raven after I watched my brother’s scan in some tax documents to send off. The Raven scanner is fast, efficient and did I say fast? The Raven software is easily downloaded and you can save to multiple other platforms. Best of all, it works with my Apple computers.
Cannot wait to start scanning and get rid of paper clutter.

I have totes of paperwork that need to be digitized. Thank You, Raven!! This document scanner is simply the best item on my desktop! Super fast. The software could be easier to navigate when changing file location but I’ll excuse the clunky software because the scanner itself is that awesome!
Wow, I am impressed with this super fast scanner. The installation was a breeze! Very Easy if you read the instructions first. I tested it a few times and it scans pretty fast double sided at the same time. It will me so much times when I have to scan my contracts of 50 pages or so. So happy I got this one after reading the reviews.

We love our scanner at the office! It is sleek and compact, and can handle a lot of scanning at once! I expected to have to feed it through one by one, but this will do the job for you! Hi, Thanks for this piece of equipment. I have used various scanners/ combination units over the years. I can say this has been the easiest and most dependable unit to date. It seems most units I have used in the past require multiple steps, and tended to be finicky. So far it has been insert and hit scan. Quality has been good as well.Initial setup was very easy, and worked the first time.

I have purchased four Raven scanners for a restaurant group that I manage. They have been nothing short of fantastic. We have all the restaurants linked together to handle invoices, HR documents, and the like. I am mildly tech-savvy to set this system up without much assistance. I credit the Raven Scanner’s ease of use for this quick success.
I did have to make two calls to customer assistance. A person answered the call on the second ring! I received an answer quickly; Raven’s customer support helped solve the problem accurately and efficiently.
The price is under $300 – it is a great value – it is saving the company at least 30 person-hours a week.

We love our new scanner. We needed something that could do high capacity scanning at a fast pace to turn past paper documents into digital. This scanner did the trick. Being able to load different size papers at once and still have it scan keeps things easy without having to sort paperwork.
I relocated into a small Regus office in Feb-2022 and was concerned I was really going to miss our Ricoh copier from our former office that I used quite a bit for scanning. After speaking with my IT guy, he suggested a portable scanner and provided me with a link for the Raven Standard scanner via Amazon.
I was going to have him come in and “set it up” for me but once it arrived, I determined that set-up was simple, and I was able to take care of it myself. (I’m 58 and not the most tech savvy, but the user instructions were great!). I have had the Raven on the corner of my desk for about 3 months now. I don’t need to use it every day, but for the few times a week that I do, it’s a God send; especially with the double-page scanning. I will be working remotely in North Carolina for 5 weeks this summer and the Raven will be joining me on this trip. Overall, I’m very pleased with everything about the Raven and would recommend to anyone in the business world who needs to scan documents and doesn’t have the room or budget for a full-size copier machine.
This scanner is very easy to set up and quite easy to use. The interface is very user-friendly.
I needed a scanner like this because I am archiving several bins of documents from the 70s and 80s. Some pages are handwritten on foolscap, some printed on a dot-matrix printer on continuous-feed paper, some typed on regular paper, some on very thin onion paper.
Working with many types of paper means I can’t always just throw a stack of pages in and let it run, but even working a few pages at a time I find the process to be quite quick and simple. In the few days I’ve owned this scanner I’ve scanned over 250 documents, some as long as 30-40 pages, as well as a large stack of photographs of varying sizes.
Based on my experience so far, I highly recommend this product.
I am utterly impressed with my Raven scanner. It wrongly thought it was “just an OCR scanner”. I was so wrong. Upon setting it up (which is super easy) I discovered that Raven has given me free cloud storage. AND that I can email documents directly to the cloud. A few weeks ago I experimented with designing my own document template. Now I’m teaching myself how to annotate documents, insert hyperlinks, etc. This is a perfect system for going paper free!
Was unsure to buy a scanner called raven. Thought maybe an HP would be better checked the reviews on YouTube. It looked good. Price was right.
It was multi scan and two sided. I was tired of using my printer to scan . It was a real pain. Got this raven scanner and was impressed. It is light weight. Easy to set up for a nerd like me and easy to get going and send scan. Really quick for multi page whereas my printer was slow and labour intensive.
Pluses you have unlimited cloud storage on raven cloud. With PDF with it various enhancements which saves money. Also they called me to see how I was doing. Said if I have any suggestions let them know. The 20 bucks is ok. But was quite impressed with the entire set up. No regrets at all has really made scanning easy.

I ordered a Raven Pro for our office so the person doing the bulk of the scanning would have something a little faster than our Brother scanner/fax/copier. It is actually so fast at scanning that we had to put a cage in front of it to keep the papers from taking flight…we used a single mesh tray turned upside down and it works fine.
While she has enjoyed the ease of scanning with a new, fast scanner, the small things I scanned were still being walked across the room to the Brother..it really likes grabbing 2 or 3 pages at once. I finally gained approval for a Raven of my own. I chose this Raven Standard because it has a smaller footprint and I don’t usually scan more than 10 or 20 pages at t time, so speed was not an issue for me.
It works great! When the time comes to put one in our home office, it will be another Raven for sure.
PROBLEM SOLVED!! One of the best scanners in the market. This scanner enabled me to get my work done at my house in a few minutes without going to the office with a stack of papers. I love it. The interface (Windows Version) is very user-friendly and easy to use. I love the fact that I scan something and send it directly to an email. If you’re looking for a compact, portable, scanner for your office, home office, or workspace The Raven Pro Standard/Brand is the way to go.
Generally speaking it feels like someone in the scanner business woke up and brought the devices up to par with everything else in consumer electronics.
All in all I am very happy with it, and will likely buy the pro/standalone one for our next device at the office.
