I ordered a different brand camera a few year back and while that’s good this one is amazing. For a little price you’re getting a big bargain. The picture quality is amazing and I particularly like the fact there is sound and you can talk to whoever is there. I ordered without a memory card but didn’t realise it was a subscription service to watch recordings so ordered a memory card the next day.
What a bargain this little cam is , easy to set up a lovely compact camera and a bargain at 22 , this is my second Septekon cam and i am very pleased with them
easy to put up, easy to install, at night time whilst its recording you can clearly see the camera is on and acts as a great deterent. We have ours pointed at where the car is parked.

Easy to install, configure is also ok, tricky but ok. Image is good, a short delay on image – reality but for this price, very good one to have.

Good camera for the price, customer service is also fantastic! We had an issue and they replied instantly and got their engineering team to resolve it so much faster then expected!
We use these to make sure our chickens are all in and safe in the hen house at night, with one outside the coop to keep an eye out for “Mr Fox” and to keep an eye on the ‘girls’ while we are at work. ( The camera (needs mains power to work but not for the wifi) has been placed inside the Hen House which is about 20 metres away from our main house and although signal strength to wifi shows as low, it still works really well. We now have another outside the chicken house covering their free-range pen area, and this works well too. You can ‘invite’ up to three family members FREE to watch the camera’s on their smart phones, and the grandkids love being able to keep an eye on the girls wherever they are in the world.

The Septekon p30 white is replacing a Tapo one that has gone faulty.what a good buy installed very quick .picture quality excellent. Night vision is what i manly bought it for to see the wild life in our garden ,it does the job 100% .recorded on to a mini sd card to work on movement only it picked up 2 badgers and a younge fox to night .got it nxt day after ordering.

Bought on the basis of the product reviews and so far its working well. Could do with a more comprehensive instruction leaflet. Beware looking for the app as on Playstore I was taken to another app to download – which surprise, surprise didn’t work. Having got the right one I followed the online instructions and eventually got it set up. Good daylight picture and very sensitive motion direction so only operate that when you need to or you will pick up cars and pedestrians at all times. As mentioned above the camera gimble could do with more adjustability, otherwise we’ll see how durable it is.

Installed and setup very quickly. Good quality imagery and picks up movement well. Only thing I dislike is that it doesn’t loop record onto SD Card and delete oldest recording but for the price I can’t complain. Hope I never have to view anything I don’t want to too.

You won’t be disappointed. These cameras are great quality and amazing value. I have purchased 3 of these in total. It took me q while to work out how to set up 24/7 recording but I got there in the end. To record 24/7 turn off motion notifications otherwise you don’t get long recording. You can then go to replay and find all recorded motions detected highlighted in green.
These cameras are fantastic. The range from the router is unexpectedly far (we live on a farm with no neighbours and barely any internet at all!) the image quality is fabulous, the motion detection is great. I LOVE how obnoxious the siren is from such a little camera. I ordered one expecting it to be ok for the price, but I’m astounded with the quality and ease of use of the app that I have ordered two more already. I couldn’t be happier. I now have security cameras when I never thought this was an option for me as even ring cameras take up too much bandwidth where I live.

Its a good security camera with a very clear image but the ALERTS could be longer as i feel it misses movements between alerts . Either that or i am doing something wrong. Value for money.
This is my second one and it also works well. Easy to setup, good quality and features, app for smartphone is good. Nice long power cable which is useful. The PC version of the program is not very useful, if you need that like me. Would buy again!
Was very easy to set up and gives you multiple ways on doing so if you find it difficult.
Camera quality is also surprisingly good, I can see license plates from about 20ish ft away and the voice control on it work better than expected but not very loud.
It does picks up audio very well day and night tho at high winds that’s all you can hear and listening to anything else is impossible at this time.
Overall its worth the price of 30 and would recommend it to anyone.
Great camera good picture quality strong wifi connection but says it works with Alexa but it does not I have enabled the septekon skill in Alexa but when you try to view on my show 5 or the t.v. It flashes up septekon but then goes straight back to the picture that was on the device before .disappointing

We have 3 of them and they pick up even the slightest bit of motion. Even at night time. The issue we found was the wire isn’t long enough. Other than that works amazingly
Well worth the money. Works great. Thinking of buying another for the back. Did message customer support and they came back to me straight away. Didn’t need them just me being stupid setting up which was very easy to do.
Very good picture quality , bit of a faff to connect to router as scanning QR code didn’t work. Really pleased overall with camera, have bought SD card separately as not included in camera- I wouldn’t have minded paying a few quid extra to save having to make extra purchase .

Good quality feel, easy to setup with good instructions and have the RTSP stream going directly into Home Assistant without any issues. Nighttime video is very good as well.

Can’t get it to match up with myhone even after downloading septikon app and l can’t set up manually because the lead that you need is not supplied so l need a returns label plus a full refund please.x
Considering the low cost this is well made and effective. Live video and audio is acceptable in most conditions. As mentioned by other reviewers the motion detection needs careful tweaking. Ensure you check for a firmware update through the app. Install an SD card otherwise the recorded video is very short, unless you subscribe to the cloud service. I received a promotional email from the manufacturer offering a 5 Amazon voucher simply for accepting a 1 year extension to the warranty. I didn’t respond as I was suspicious that you don’t get something for nothing!

This product was bought to cover the front door and path leading to it, great that when the doorbell goes, I can see who it is, if not interested can tell them so, instead of having to come to the door every time, equally good for Amazon and post Office, can tell them leave the package at the door, camera works well, quick to set up and easy to use, all in all a very good camera, price very good, support if needed, excellent, nothing to dislike whatsoever, you won’t be disappointed with these cameras.

Good basic security camera. Motion detection is very sensitive…..picks up leaves moving in the wind! Reasonable picture quality.
The camera is really good but for the motion detection sirens I’ve now found out you need the cloud to use it. If you put an sd card in it the camera isn’t very good the price of using the cloud isn’t the cheapest as well.

All good as usual. Quality and camera management using mobile app but monthly payment for storage required and power cable is too short. Should be at least 3 metres long. This one has about 1.5 metre.
It’s a great camera that not only has a clear picture but also with sound. A great camera for filming wildlife. I use my camera to watch the hedgehogs in my garden.
This camera was super easy to set up and the customer service is brilliant. I had a previous model too. I get very fast alerts on my phone as soon as the camera detects any movement and it’s great to have a speaker on it too. Superb value at the price too.
As the camera was quite reasonably priced I had my doubts as to its quality. I really should not have worried. The camera is very easy to set up to WiFi and the quality of the images both day and night, are excellent for it’s size. The motion detection is very sensitive and can be triggered by heavy rain or the odd bug flying near to the camera lense but this can be adjusted within the app. The microphone works great as does the siren. I am so happy with it that I am thinking of buying another.

Motion alerts are good but unfortunately it detects rain as an introvert and alerts you continuously despite seeing it to low detection 🙁
A little bit of time to get it set up, but now it’s up and working, really pleased with it.
This is the second of these that I have bought. This one is a newer version but works alongside the earlier version on the same app. It is fairly easy to set up but you may have to be a little patient scanning the code in. Once accepted it is up and working.
Things I like.. Quality product for a very reasonable price. Good picture night and day. Easy to record. Easy to view. Alarm and voice control useful.
Things I don’t like… very little, the only drawback is the few seconds delay between the actual alert bring triggered and the alert sounding on your phone. That means that although you have a video of someone they may have gone before you can talk to them. This is a very minor criticism though.
Things that could be better…..again very little. A ‘re chargeable battery model would be good but ….
All in all this is a brilliant piece of kit that is worth double the money. I may even buy another!
Bought to use in my home overseas, it works perfectly video is very clear. No issues.
I bought two of these together and have spent a fair bit of time with them now. They’re great for the price (assuming sub 30) but do have some limitations depending on how you plan on using them.
I don’t / haven’t tried their online storage nor do I use the app (unless they act and need resetting). I use these cameras with some other brands with iSpy to provide community CCTV for myself and neighbours. The camera’s do support RTSP, they don’t support ONVIF and it does require an internet connection to initially configure.
You will need their app to setup a camera – the network it will eventually join does not need to have a permanent internet connection but does require internet access to first add them. Once they are connected, the app allows you to easily set the username and password and even gives you the RTSP address. All in all, setup was a bit of a pain but if you’re working with RTSP it isn’t overly difficult to get working. If all you’re going to do is leave one or around the home and will stay on your own Wifi, the app does a reasonable job of managing and viewing streams.
In terms of stability, they seem very susceptible to vehicle traffic – too many cars go past and you’ll start dropping frames left and right – in my case there is maybe 3m between one of these and the Access Point. Using an ethernet connection does resolve this. I also find one of them will occasionally drop connection and refuse to work until I reset it – to do this, you will require physical access to the button.
The image quality for it’s price it Ok – nothing to shout home about but visibility within around 40-50ft of the camera will be good enough quality, anything outside of this and you might struggle. This does drop a little in night vision, with footage only being usable within 10-20M; while you can “see” 80ft out, the quality isn’t good enough to make the footage usable / you certainly wouldn’t be able identify a person.
Providing I could get each camera for around 25, I would purchase again.
This is the second Septekon camera I’ve purchased, the first was due to the price, but it performed really well and to date I have had no issues. Due to this, and my need for a second to cover the back of the house, I decided to go for the same make. This is a newer model, and there are some subtle improvements, there are two antennas providing a better WiFi range and strength. Thumbs up there, and some tweaks on the quality and night vision, which were already great, but now even better.
I can’t complain on the camera itself, it integrated with my existing Septekon app, and now I can see both cameras clearly and easily using this software on my phone.
My only niggle is that the power cable is about half the length of the previous camera, which meant I needed to use some extension leads to power it where I wanted it situated, this isn’t the end of the world, but worth noting if you have a long way from location to the power outlet.
Overall, stellar work, I am using the original, and this new purchase together without fault. Very happy!
A bit fiddly to pair on to the App and had to turn off the constant motion detection alerts due to proximity to a road. But, once all set up is a useful device for checking activity outside the house via my mobile phone. Only records if you set it to record.
Well packaged, well presented, looks the part. Works well with very good picture/video for the modest price. Good menu with lots of options when you explore. Connects easily to Alexa but initial wi-fi connection can involve a bit of trial and error. The included instructions could be better but the online help is good. The power cable could usefully be a bit longer and as already mentioned by others white rather than black would be a helpful option. Overall very satisfied and recommended.
