Wish I had found this before buying 3 Freetrain vests! This vest is far easier to adjust the strap tightness, has an adequate amount of storage for keys/a device and the torch is a novel feature!

Main benefit for me is the pouch strap being velcro instead of a snap button which will inevitably pull off against the neoprene fabric as all my Freetrain ones have. Decent produc

I purchased this vest because I live near the countryside, and obviously it’s dark when I run over the fields and woods on winter mornings or evenings.
I was slightly concerned when I purchased, as some of the other reviews on here suggested that the light wasn’t very bright.
My opinion however is that it’s plenty bright enough. There is literally no ambient light where I run, and the torch illuminates my route over rough terrain more than adequately. The vest is also comfortable to wear and keeps phone and money safe and dry. No qualms about recommending to others.

Dry comfortable on, you don’t feel restricted in any way. You don’t feel your phone move at all

I was unsure that I was going to use it but I definitely recommend, it works good and it’s really useful during the lack of light in winter.

The only issue is the charging wire is very short and I lost it , but because it’s commonly use charging lead , I had a replacement

Lights works great in the wood I run at night time

This is a running vest for all weather. Lightweight, easily adjustable and with ventilation holes throughout the vest, I preferred this to running arm bands which I find uncomfortable over longer distances.

The main pocket can hold a large phone in a case (my iPhone Pro Max 13 with case fit snugly inside) and there are holes to provide access to wired headphones if you need. Smaller phones are equally secure with a fold-over velcro pocket. There are two other pockets in front of the shoulders (one velcro, the other zip fastened) for cash and keys whilst you run.

The light on the front of the vest offers three modes – bright, very bright and what I call “police mode” where red and blue lights strobe. It’s easily removable for washing/recharging. Coupled with the reflective strips on the front and back, you will be able to see your route through the dark as well as be seen by vehicles and other road users.

This is an excellent running vest, perfect for the long dark winter nights.

Everything you want from a running vest, and will hold large phones in cases too

My reason for giving this product 5 stars is because I found the fit to be extremely awkward on me. It’s a great idea with lots of storage for the things you need when running but I think it is made more to suit a mans frame rather than a woman’s. I am quite chesty, and there was no comfortable way I could wear this without my boobs getting in the way. I could have them sit under the bottom but I found that just looked odd. If I pulled it over my boobs it was too high up at the back. The phone storage is a great idea and I definitely felt like my phone was secure and the light is a great idea for if you are running at night. For me, this product wasn’t great but may be more suited to a male.

For those who desire some storage and to be visible at night, this is a cosy jogging vest.

The running phone holder vest has a front pocket that measures about 10 by 16 cm which accommodates phone size of 6.7in. Its waistband is adjustable ranging from 80 to 110 cm, and weighs around 130g. A heat dissipation system is also included which provides breathability and facilitates quick drying. Plus, it is equipped with an LED light with a flashlight in the front and reflective gear in the back. This running phone holder vest is rechargeable.

I sometimes do my running in the afternoon and there are times that it’s already dark when I get back home. Also, it’s burdensome to hold my phone while running. So, when this one arrived, I immediately got it out of the box and wore it. I must say that it is comfortable and just fits my body just perfectly, thanks to the adjustable waistband. The quality is also of good quality and the texture is nice and nicely stitched.

All in all, I am liking this vest so far. However, I found the pockets too highly placed which would be a challenge for me if I want to grab my phone while I run. Still, I would give this a five-start for the good features.

Starting with my run sessions lately I’ve noticed that running on the street early in the morning or late in the night can be pretty scary and dangerous if you cannot be seen easily. I was looking for something lightweight and useful at the same time.

Simket running phone holder west is exactly what I was looking for. With great fit and additional pocket at the front, carrying phone in the pocket and expecting it not to fall out will be eliminated. What is most important there is reflective strap that goes all around your body and additional flashlight at your chest. I found this really useful as it helps me see more in front of me when it is pitch dark and it makes me more visible for any car that is going towards me.

If you are looking for something simple yet useful for your running sessions, this item will be great.

I am generally a medium in t-shirt size, and around 5’7″ in height. This fits OK but it is a little small. Even though you can adjust the straps, the material doesn’t come down very far, meaning the straps that come under the arms, can sit a little high for some.

Above said, I found this to be very comfortable. The phone holder is well positioned and makes accessing it really easy, when running. I have a 6.7 inch phone and it fits easily. In the front, where the phone sits, you have two pockets. One pocket contains the lamp and has some storage space, maybe for some headphones, cash or a card. The second is of course, for the phone. There are a further two pockets, at the front and below the shoulders, for gels or a key – one has a velcro fastening and the other a zip. The straps have reflective material stitched into them.

The light at the front, doesn’t really light the way, as it doesn’t point down. Instead it’s most useful for letting others know you’re coming, when running at night, but there’s a risk of it shining up into their faces before it shines down onto your path.

Overall, this is a comfortable vest. It serves my running needs and I’ll be regularly taking this out on my runs.

    At 21.99 it’s a good, quality buy.

A comfortable holder for lots, while running

Great product. Combines the solving of the visibility issue and holding a phone into a single solution. The battery being rechargeable is also a good addition to the pack! Fits well and makes you comfortable during your runs!

    This is absolutely brilliant!

It’s a really well made quality item

It’s so light, you don’t even realise that you’re wearing it

Perfect for going running in the evening

There is a compartment for your phone, keys and an energy gel

The back of the vest has reflective strips a fabulous safety feature

Now to the torch, what a fantastic idea this is, great for lighting up the pavement or trail and for letting people know that you’re there

Every single person that runs in the dark should have one of these

    Highly recommended

Everyone who runs in the dark needs one of these

Adjustable fitting to size, this vest fits perfectly to by myself and partners body size. It seems pretty comfortable on the shoulders and does not affect movement when running and walking. With these darker nights and mornings, this for sure is a great buy! The reflector lights on the front allows for clear visibility with passing vehicles which makes it much safer for yourself and them. Picks up well and seems to last well too! Comes complete with a usb cable to quickly recharge as and when needed. Arrived well packaged 🙂

This is easy to use and adjustable also. The price I think is okay, good value for your money. The light is just right but not too bright. And the quality and material is very good.

    “Good quality and design!”

The vest fits comfortable and allows me to be mobile and run with ease. The vest has a front pocket which allows me to carry my phone as it fits comfortably inside it. The waistband allows me to comfortably adjust the vest to fit me. The led on the front is bright and has a multicolored light function. There is a button in the middle of the light allowing you to turn on the light in one press making it super easy to use when running.

Fits great is adjustable perfect for training

Overall a useful product. Great way of having a free hand torch to hand.

The chest plate is a bit small across the shoulders. The strap which is meant to go just under the chest area — but I find it goes straight across. For women in particular this can be a bit awkward. The front pocket will probably fit most phones. It just about fits my old Sampson note 2 phone inside of it’s case. The phone doesn’t bounce at all either, which keeps it nice and safe.

The light itself is nice and bright. More than enough to see by when running or walking about in the dark. I use this as a free hand torch for dog walking at night. Despite the awkward placement of the chest strap, it does the job fine.

At the time of writing the product costs 22 — which is a little pricy. Then again it is a very well made product. The sowing is solid — the fabric is a breath able mesh which is also of high quality and the light is a rechargeable led which works perfect.

Does the job — does it well. If it were a little bigger I’d give it 5 stars no problem.

Does the job - well made - bit tight around the chest.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a comfortable running vest for those who want some storage and to be seen in the dark.

To begin with the storage: There’s a fair bit here. You have space for your phone, a pocket where the light is that can hold something else like a bank card, a pocket for your keys and then another small pocket possibly for earbuds/a small earbuds case.

None of the pockets are too large and they’re in pretty inconvenient places as they’re either high on your shoulder or in the centre of your chest. Therefore, this vest is clearly designed to ‘store’ things as opposed to ‘access’ them. I personally won’t put gels or foot in this vest as it’d be a pain to fish them out of a pocket whilst running. That’s fine though, it’s just a vest to put everything in, do your run, and then have everything you need accessible to you once you’ve finished.

There’s a nice reflective strip around the banded part that goes around your waist. The big selling point though is the chest light. I would say that this isn’t as bright or powerful as I’d hoped. I thought this may be able to replace a head torch and it certainly can’t do that. Rather, it’s more like a back bike light in that it can make sure you are seen, but not really help you see.

The comfort of the vest is very good. All across it are mesh holes that allow for ventilation and ensure you don’t get too hot. You can easily adjust the straps with the slip buckle system and they stay put when you’re running. Simply unclipping the belt makes it easy to take off, so it’s not like wrestling your way free from a strait-jacket either.

Overall, this is a good vest to store your belongings and to ensure you are seen if you’re running at night. I would just say not to expect it to hold food or serve as a torch.

Comfortable running vest although designed to be seen, not to see in the dark

My initial thoughts are all positive. Out of the box, it only took 30 minutes or so to get a full charge. It’s not heavy and stays in place while jogging. And it’s bright enough to be your only running light.
