Looks good
Strong
Instructions could be printed better and more usable
Fingerprint reader works fairly well

Bought this smart lock to replace the old lock on my UPVC door. It looks great and durable. I used the existing mortise instead of the new one provided. Easy to install. The App works well.
Easy to instal, works great. Door changes to locked once open so far, perfect for security. Very happy with this and would recommend it.
All features work well and smoothly I had some apprehension that I would be locked out but I’m over tha
It took me a while to get my head round on how to fit it but that was just me. It’s an amazing lock and found it to be one of the best purchases of anything I’ve made in recent years.
Great lock, easy enough to install, everything works flawlessly baring the fingerprint reader isn’t as good as it could be. Works fine on my right thumb but only 50/50 on my left. That’s after reregistering it several times. Maybe it’s my thumb that’s the problem. I think they could improve the sensitivity of it etc.
The app is easy to use on my Xiaomi 12 android mobile.
When fitting, it fits higher than the previous handle so I’ve had to use a bit of wood filler, I had to drill an extra hole for the cable to go through as well.
Very happy with the product.
WARNING check your current lock first, if it has 2 spindals it won’t work and you’ll need to replace the lock mechanism to single spindal. My door is multi locking point pvc door, works fine with this type. Lock took me 9 hours to fit!!! Don’t let that put you off as the lock is sturdy and very smart, takes some getting used to though not using a key and then checking it’s locked. I paid 150 on special offer for mine. Tags/finger print and code works well, happy with my purchase SO FAR.
The advice on compatible double glazed door with the lock was very poor … got a local small buisness double glaze guy to install it for me ….. took a gamble on it being usable in the door which worked ok.Would not have been able to install iton my own in a millions years.
Looks great and works well only down fall is that when raining finger print reader need drying befor it will read finger print, but that is the same with every finger print reader I’ve used. Plus plenty of other ways to unlock door.
Unfortunately its slightly smaller than thr old handle so theres a small gap underneath so its a shame it doesn’t come with an oversized plate. I made one so not the end of the world.
Looking at a lot of locks before choosing this one but found this was the only one that had all the functions i wanted, fingerprint i use kids use the code there is key cards too or open with the app or send someone a one time code, also set open and close times, example cleaner starts at 10am door unlocks 10:05 till 10:15 if she doesn’t get there in time she has to call for a one time code and explain why shes late you can also show history details who, when and how entered.
Brilliant designed lock. Easy to install and works perfectly. Never have to worry about if the kids have a key again.
It’s brilliant. I have a disabled son and live in an upstairs flat so really great as he can just ask alexa to unlock x
Reading the instructions somewhat confusing to start but give yourself time to assess your door and how the lock fits.
I fitted to a multipoint locking system but it required new holes, enlarging holes and elongating holes. So take the old handle off your door and line up the the hole for the square bar with the new handle and you will see what is needed to be done. Tricky to connect wires and keep them out of the way of screws. Completed the fit in a couple of hours. Love the lock, leaves a small hole beneath handle when fitted to existing multipoint lock I have but will fill with resin. Everyone happy no more keys. For now atleast.
As a smart home enthusiast with over 200+ smart devices all managed through Alexa and Home Assistant, this was the next logical step for my doors. I have a Yale smart lock on my front door, but it doesn’t compete to this Reveno one on performance, features, style and compatibility. Yes, you do need an additional hub if you want to be able to control the door remotely, and yes, it does need to be close to the lock, but those are small sacrifices for the amount you get back. This door is now used as the main door in and out of the house due to the simple fingerprint access. I see some people have reported the fingerprint reader not working correctly, but you have to get the lock to learn your entire fingerprint, not just the same area 4 times. The lock has been in for installed for 4 months, used 20+ times a day and has only lost 14% of battery.
Keyless entry to my property is fantastic, and the envy of our neighbours.
Very easy to install and use, enough with all the keys hanging on. Definitely recommend it!
I wanted a lock that didn’t need a key or fob. This does it all! We can use fingerprints and codes and parents can have a fob for emergencies. Lots of other ways to open the lock too. Easy to install and helpful support to talk you through the process by WhatsApp.
Looks good, easy to use app, love it . It was hard to find locksmith who would fit it. I had it fitted by Keys4U Locksmith.
After a long day trying to make it work with the lock that I had manage to install, drill holes in the door, also would recommend to make room in the door for the cables. Love it so far, lets see how long it last.
Excellent product, works already for a month and we are very satisfied.
Customer support is amazing.
Sometimes it takes 2-3 attempts to read finger print. Wish they can improve it.
Would defiantly buy from them again.
Great product but the finger print reader is unreliable. I tried several fingers, multiple prints. Still hit and miss.
Otherwise, the handle and lock along with the app are very good. I installed in a bespoke workshop wooden door, pretty difficult, but it worked perfectly. Provides a good level of security as both latch and dead bolt become a lock. I disabled auto lock. I was surprised at the number of features on the app. Time schedules for the lock, auto lock time, sharing time sensitive codes.
Great product. I used the key code as the fingerprint is hit and miss.
We moved into a house with a very old Yale Keyfree – it needed replacing but the newer Yale conexis had a variety of bad reviews, and also the new design did not have the ability to put in a number code, which we really liked for the kids – no more lost door keys or key fobs or needing a phone !!
So we were impressed with the Reveno reviews, we loved the fact we could do thumb prints, or key fobs, or for our kids and elderly parents a straight forward number code. Perfect !
Firstly it is slightly smaller than the Yale keyfree (the Yale conexis is also smaller than the keyfree too so it’s not a straight forward upgrade or replacement). We needed to purchase a repair plate from a company called Holdfast Security Systems, you can see it in the photos, it’s about 60, not cheap, but cheaper than a new door. The repair plate covers the holes that the old larger Yale Keyfree used. If you had opted for the conexis you would still need the plate – it was Yale that told me about them !!
Next we had to fit the Nuveno. We do have a triple lock door, but we used our existing mortise, so the triple lock still works. It wasn’t the most straight forward item to fit. We had to enlarge existing holes for the cable to pass through, and drill a new hole for a bolt, but all of this is hidden behind the lock. Once the lock was in place, you will need 4x triple aaa batteries (not included). Then download the app to your phone. From there you can add fingerprints, pair key fobs, add security codes and more.
I like it. We locked the kids out and they could get back in. Our thumb prints work, our phones and apple watches work. It’s smart, and also the app gives you a history of who accessed your door so you can see what time people come home and it tells you unsuccessful attempts too which is good for security.
The lock worked beautifully for several months and I talked to a lot of people about how great it was. It was temperamental in some ways but overall fantastic. It was for that reason I gave it a high score.
Unfortunately the lock gave up the ghost after a few months and no longer functioned. Ruveno immediately sent out a replacement, which is working perfectly.
Takes away the hassle of having to carry keys and worry if we’ve locked the house or not. Fingerprint reader works perfectly so never bother with the other ways of entering.
I’ve convinced my brother to buy the same one.
I’ve had the Yale connexis for a few years on two different houses. The lock recently packed up and Yale were less than helpful when I contacted them for help so decided to give this lock a try. Its way way better than the connexis. everything works as it should and installation was easy. The app is better than Yales and registering cards etc is very simple.
Just to make people aware, if you need more contact cards you can actually use anything that uses the same technology, so you can use Yales key fobs and cards, you can even register a bank card to unlock your door as it uses the same contactless tech.
Looks neat and well built.. I like it! Easy to use!
Fits perfect to typical english type door.Easy to use.good value for money.
Bought this for the second front door. For the porch door I have another smart lock so I can easily compare them.
I am happy with the overall quality and with the connectivity also because you have everything you need in the pack.
It was easy to fit on my UPVC door and the instructions were clear and easy to read.
I love the multitude of ways you can unlock it (fingerprint, keypad, tags, phone, keys), more than the old lock and for a better price.
The main reason I didn’t purchase the same smart lock again is the battery life. I have to change them every 3-4 weeks. With the new one after 3 weeks they are still going strong.
The only negative aspect I can see is that it’s not waterproof but for me it is not an issue as it’s fitted inside.
Installed this into a dead-bolt UPVC door. Love it.
Pros:
– Access via the fingerprint reader, pin codes and fobs works really well.
– Sleek design.
– Decent battery life and a low battery warning.
Cons:
– The front key section is impossible to open without the use of the supplied plastic sucker, which would mean your’d have to have the key and the sucker with you. Thankfully, we don’t use the keys.
– No Zigbee integration, which would make this one of the best smart locks out there.
Bonus: Connects to Home Assistant using the TTLock integration, but you’ll have to have your lock quite near to the the Raspberry zoo because the Bluetooth range is rather short (Zigbee would be much better).
This is a quality handle with nice features. Unfortunately it didn’t fit the pre-drilled holes on my composite door with a Yale multipoint lock. It does come with its own lock which could be mortised into a wooden door but unfortunately my door wouldn’t accept it.
Instructions not 100% clear but the practical mind should be able to cope.
solid product installed easy but you need some skill
great value for money compared with the expensive ones
i had an issue with the lock after 3 months i contacted the seller and they were polite, prompt, and efficient they sent a new lock after i sent a video of the issue ,
im so pleased with this produc
his is a good item, i knew it from arrival it is in a good quality of packaging, the item is quality.
easy to use and install.
recommended to Buy
Have been using this lock daily for over a week now. 3 people have fingerprint access registered via the app and no issues at all so far. I’m finding fingerprint access is all you need and it is very responsive. One reviewer experienced a loss of functionality during rain, I can only assume they have a faulty one as mine has been fine in the rain. Was surprised to learn that it has an auto lock feature which is super useful. The app is well designed and easy to use, has tons of features and works as described. I previously purchased a Yale smart lock which I had loads of problems with and has to return but glad I didn’t lose faith in the whole idea as this one is great.
I purchased this for my apartment building in December. A few things: first, I don’t own the building, but I am a longtime tenant. It is a 7 unit-building with three exterior entrances. The property manager lives in the building and runs the (absentee) owner’s company. We live a few blocks off High Street, and package theft for items left on the front porch has been an issue. I to purchase lock for the exterior door and the property manager took care of the installation. Since I plan on staying in the building for a long time, it was an expense that I was willing to bear.
That out of the way, here are my impressions:
Ease of Setup: It isn’t too difficult to set it up on first blush, and it looks like you can quickly copy the setup from one lock to another, but it is actually not easy if you are trying to create entries for multiple users. For our setup, the property manager and I were to be administrators. In my professional life, I have more than a passing familiarity with good security (technical and otherwise) practices, and I also set up a separate user account for both of us (which was good, because the property manager quickly forgot the administrator account that I had set up but had no problem remembering the user account). But for each unit in the building, I had to assign a number to each intended user, because you use the keypad to add all the new accounts and it is numeric only. I had to assign one for each tenant, and not each apartment, because the biometric captures only one finger per user account. Then I realized that some of us (myself included) wanted to record a finger from each hand, to make it easier to use if we were carrying a package, which meant I had to make two user accounts for each person that wanted to record two fingers. And while using the keypad is convenient in that you don’t need an app to add users, it is certainly a pain from the perspective of User Interface. It should be noted that there is a place in the App for you to add a name to a user, but more on that below.
Installation: It was painless and I he may start recommending them to others.
Battery life: They have been in use constantly with no issues. Batteries are AAA, and I am using AmazonBasics rechargeables without an issue.
Usage – Keypad: The keypad stays asleep (and dark) until you need to use it, then it wakes up. You type in your code and press the enter key, which is a symbol (look at the picture of the keypad if you don’t know what I mean). I have only had one person that couldn’t figure out how to use the keypad, and to be fair, there’s no indication that you need to press enter, but everyone else, from delivery drivers to cleaning services, figured it out on their own.
Usage – Biometrics:. The reader wakes up very quickly, and when it gets it right on the first try, it is amazingly fast. However, your mileage will vary based on the placement of your finger (relative to when you originally recorded it), the weather (if it is cold or very dry, the reader may have more difficulty than during warmer weather), the cleanliness of the reader (obviously, if it is smudged with mud, it won’t work so well) and the condition of your chosen finger. One trick that works when it’s cold or your skin is dry – touch the surface of your finger to your forehead, then touch the reader, and the additional transferred skin oil aids the reader in picking up your whorls and ridges.
Usage – Bluetooth: Honestly, none of us use this. I tested it and it works, but a sample size of one test use is insufficient for a rating.
Usage – Manual Key: The keys exist for emergencies and should not be used as a regular means of opening the locks. The company says this, and they definitely feel flimsy.
Ultraloq App: The app exists. It shows you the locks. It works most of the time to open them. It has difficulty maintaining a connection when performing administrative maintenance. It *does* keep a security log of who has successfully used the lock and any unsuccessful attempts, as well as administrative logins. It does monitor rough battery status, but I have found this to be very unreliable.
In conclusion, I’ll say the locks are amazing, these are pretty good locks for the money. They do about 85% of what we need them to do, and they work flawlessly about 90% of the time. Not a single tenant has complained about the switch; on the contrary, almost everyone in the building has thanked me for purchasing them for the building. The property manager has left me with the responsibility of maintaining the user database until it’s a bit easier, but I don’t mind. Most of the delivery companies have no problems using the codes we have given them, with the notable exception of Amazon Logistics (who keeps leaving packages on the porch without even trying the code, but we are working on this) and Hermes (although we may have them onboard now). If the functionality of the smartphone interface, the ease of adding, deleting, and modifying users, or the enhanced capabilities of the forthcoming bridges were addressed, I would not hesitate to give this five stars. Until then, this is not a perfect system, but I do recommend it.
10/10. Considering half the price compared to other brands the quality is stunning. I wasn’t expecting anything that good. Easy to install and easy to manage. I suggest take your time and don’t rush it the result will be worth it.
UPDATE:
This lock has failed. When using fingerprint, code, and even the key, it simply doesn’t unlock. The lock wasn’t even being used that much as it is a side-door and not a main entrance/exit. I have to alter the 5 star rating, though it is difficult to decide what rating I should give it. I will have to reduce the star rating to 1 I feel, because a door lock failure is something that should never happen at all let alone this quick, however on closer inspection as in having a closer look inside, it does seem to be poor material choices for the internals, and possibly less than optimal engineering. Outside it looks a million dollars though, and this is where we all often go wrong. Now the dilemma of finding a lock that I can trust, I fear it is time to just go back to good old mechanical locks from established brands such as Yale.
———————————————————-
First of all, the lock talks to you! A nice modern touch.
Secondly, the build quality is solid, very heavy duty and no shaky flaky parts. This is the kind of workmanship one expects from a top quality chinese manufacturer, they who do not cut corners, whence the high price.
Sync’d the lock with the phone via the app from the appstore, which communicates with the lock across bluetooth, we registered fingerprints, codes, rfid-tags. The lock uses 4 AAA batteries behind a thick metal cover screwed on with a small black screw.
The fingerprint sensor is as good as the ones you have on laptops, fast, accurate and even works fine with slightly wet fingers we found.
Now the difficult part is the fitting. As these locks require a fair amount of enthusiastic wood-work, definitely would be far easier on PVC or composite doors. In our case we fitted it on an old-fashioned solid wooden door, took a while but we got there in the end and mighty impressed, as professional as professional comes (even though I say so myself).
The lock also has a dead-lock bolt, so if you swing up the handle, it engages the dead-bolt. The handle on the outside can’t do anything, until the right code/fingerprint/rfid-tag comes along, and then the lock can be opened and if the dead-bolt is engaged that can also be disengaged.
Please note that this lock requires either a very good enthusiastic DIY’er who is not afraid of custom-work to facilitate the installation or a time-proven professional locksmith (beware of the many cowboys out there who blame everything else but themselves for poor workmanship!).
Lovely lock, and if the price is dropped a little more then we shall buy a couple more of these without hesitation!
PS. Absolutely adore the finish on this lock, well done to the designers!!! This is a great product and proves that Amazon does have real diamonds among a crowd of zirconias, the most difficult task is finding those diamonds, and this is where good honest reviews help.
I hope this helps convince you.
PSS. I also really do believe this lock is highly efficient with batteries, we took them out after a week, tested them in the charger and the charger came up with 95%!!!!! And that is after a great deal of locking unlocking (new toy and all).
I was looking for a smart lock which is looks good as well as work well. This one i have found finally is very stylish apparance. It has many different unlocking option as 6 in 1 like keyless entry, 6 independent unlocking methods, Wifi(Optional) if you want to use ior not , Bluetooth Apps, Fingerprint, Password, Card, and Mechanical key. it can Support up to 200 fingerprints, 150 pass codes and 200 ID cards user code. You can use only PIN code or card if that is all you desire and skip finger print option entirely and in fact completely disabling it via app. You can use app which has some very useful options like remote unlock via Bluetooth when you are at home and via internet when you are away and someone is at the door needing access as well as sending offline code if there is no internet available. PIN codes can be set as permanent, one time use for delivery man for example, time of day for when kids returning from school, or period based for when friends or family members staying over. Suitable for Aluminum door / Wooden door / Sliding door / Swing door. With the app you can get notifications each time the door has been unlocked by whom and by which method as well as if someone unauthorised has been trying to unlock it, which will lock the system. Another option is add addition key operated lock to bring it back for extra security while away for longer periods of time. Fitting to a brand-new door shouldn’t be more difficult than a regular lock also the emergency USB charging port and emergency key unlock methods provide double relief that you need to worry about being locked outside.
