Set up was ok, and when it’s working the readings seem to be accurate, certainly for temperature.
The Bluetooth connection isn’t the best however.
I wanted something which would allow me to know the temperature in the room. I use Google Assistant, so that integration was important to me. Asking google for the temperature works perfectly. However attempting to view the temperature in the Google Home app or via the Google Nest Hub only shows the Humidity information (which I’m not interested in).
Easy to set up and also integrate with Alexa – will help pay for themselves by keeping temp just right in various parts of the house – I like the notification feature to let me know if the kids have the heating on too high
Easy to set up.
Sensor temp matched the readings from other equipment.
Routines were a bit dodgy to start, perhaps with time schedules for days, weekends etc were too complicated because they didn’t work too well, but when simplified they are fine
Really excellent. A fiddle to set up. After, you have the certainty of accurate readings at any time with the App and alarm notifications for come or hot. We are monitoring our loft for the winter… No stress.
Very hand little devices. It was very easy to set them up on Tuya app and they just work. They show up in the Alexa app and give accurate temperature and humidity readings. If asked by voice Alexa will tell you the temperature, however on the Alexa app it only shows humidity and battery levels, no temperature. In Tuya app it shows all info and even does nice graphs. Overall I am happy with this purchase and can recommend to anyone who wants an easy and quick way to monitor temperature and humidity.
Good sensor, does the job well, battery has lasted 1 mont exactly and is now on 15% battery. I would like to know what battery it is, preferably in the description. Very easy to read, setup took a little while. The app needs to be quicker to update the readings as I often have to close and reopen it.
Easy to setup.got it reading in my enclosed weather station outside so keeping a close watch.did calibrated to match but it’s quite easy with existing equipme
Where can I buy additional wifi thermometers. Buying another triple pack with the wifi hub is too expensive. I did buy a single bluetooth version but by definition that only works when the phone is in range of the phone
Well made and compact sensor which simply connected to software.
After using for a few weeks continuously i have had absolutely no problems.
Home Assistant integration works and displays beautiful graphs.
Battery life has not dropped below 100% over 3 weeks at least.
Great for indoor herbs/vegetable/microgreens gardens and greenhouses, virtually no signal blocking when used in mylar tents, in comparison to something like the meross these are worth the extra money.
Easy to connect and fairly easy to use, my only very slight complaint is that there’s a few button presses to get to the temperature rather than see it straight away on the app. Can use to switch on smart plug at a certain temperature that I haven’t tried yet but seems useful.
These thermometers are useful to gauge temperature in rooms remotely. They are also good for checking the temperature of your fridge or freezer.
I placed one in my freezer and it gave a reading which suggested my digitally controlled freezer was inaccurate. I tried another in some rooms in the house and they seemed accurate according to the room’s thermostat.
As portable devices, these are very useful and help to indicate temperatures around the house, or any other place. You do need to connect to them via bluetooth though, and they seemed to switch off, meaning I had to physically press the button on one of them to connect to it. This didn’t always happen though. Connecting them was fairly easy, using the smart life app.
It also takes a while for the devices to reach the surrounding temperature. For example, if took over 10 minutes for the thermometer to show the true temperature in a fridge.
So, whether it’s a conservatory, a wine cellar, your shed, home or place of work, they have their use. They are effectively nearly 10 each though, and it’s debatable that most people would need three of them. Shame you couldn’t just buy one.
I already have Smart Life installed on my phone and found these three thermometers very easy to set up.
They have a small plastic tab which you pull off the connect the battery. They then instantly go into pair mode, so can easily be detected by the Smart Life app. That’s all there is to setting them up.
If you later need to pair them to a different device, there is a small button you can press for a few seconds to restart the pairing.
The back of the thermometer can be prized off to change the battery. That’s pretty easy to do (in comparison I used some wireless thermometers where it is very difficult to access the battery). The back snaps back on securely and feels sturdy, as does the whole casing.
I’ve checked these thermometers against others I own, and the readings from these tally, so I am assuming they are accurate.
I haven’t yet figured out what the broadcast policy is – for example,
broadcast every few minutes or hour, or when the values change. However, so far, I’ve not detected any problems or dropped signal. My devices are all on one floor, but we have one in the conservatory, with the doors closed, and the signal still seems reliable.
The devices are compact and feel solid and well made. My only minor gripes are that the battery on one of them is only showing 50%, and the additional information about the devices is presented in Chinese in the Smart Life app.
Can say it’s a great thing to have at home. It’s works via Bluetooth and comes 3 in pack, so can monitor temperature in 3 rooms.
It’s shows temperature and humidity.
Price for such set I think is great.
And surely I can recommend it to all.
I found them very easy to setup as they use the very well established Smartlife app.
They come with a small strap for each unit which is hand for hanging them.
They also included the batteries.
They seem to be reading very close to some other thermometers I have so they seem accurate.
I would have no problem recommending them.
Price at time of review was 36, or 12 each. I already had the Smart Life app installed on Android which found these items as soon as I pulled the tab to connect the battery. Set-up such as renaming took a moment.
I found these units record every hour which the app will use to show Day/Week/Month/Year profiles and averages. Bluetooth range was OK, I found the phone wouldn’t connect to a unit on the opposite site of the detached house.
The accuracy seemed OK, certainly close to other thermostats in the room. One thing I noticed, although Smart Life skill was linked to Alexa, I couldn’t ask Alexa what the temperature was; this connection to the units seemed not to be available. Also, I don’t have a gateway to test the Temperature change triggering ‘scenes’.
That said, I put these in Conservatory, Louge and Kitchen to check temperature and humidity to ensure damp won’t start when the heating is low.
All in all, I think 12 is reasonable for units which can log temp and humidity and are easy to connect and setup.
These are quite small. I don’t think I realised how small when I ordered them but they work well. You have to download the Smart Life App (I have an iPhone) and follow the instructions in the little booklet. Don’t try and connect the devices through you Bluetooth connection. It just ties itself in knots. Also don’t try and find the device in the listings on the app of hundreds of applicable devices. Just switch on the device by pulling out the tab or holding the button down for a few seconds. There’s a plus symbol on the top corner of the app. Just press it and follow it through. It was very easy to set up.
They seem to be reasonably accurate. I’ve placed all three next to an existing proven thermometer system to test accuracy. All three have the same readout exactly and are within 0.2 degrees of the source.
However, I have two problems. I have three thermometers in three different rooms but I don’t know which is which. I haven’t found a way to change the name on the app so I know which one is in which room. They’re all called Temperature Humidity Sensor. Even if they had numbers it wouldn’t be so bad. The second issue is that I want a screen that shows all three sets of data together and it doesn’t appear to do that. I’m pretty sure that both problems can be solved but I haven’t found a way yet.
Apart from that I do like them and I like the concept of controlling a multitude of devices through my phone.
Surprised how actually small these are… When I got the box out I thought I accidently got the pack of 1 not the pack of 3! They’re so tiny they’re actually cute tiny.
So they’re super easy to connect to their app. Takes seconds to connect them. Their accuracy of temperature and humidity for each room is very accurate. The only con is that is does take a minute or so for them to connect to the Bluetooth so that can be a bit frustrating waiting for that! Might just be my phone though as I have Bluetooth issues with other devices too.
I really love these and with a humidifier I’m finding it really helpful keeping my rooms at perfect temperature and humidity.
