These adapters were exactly what I needed for my trip, and they did the job flawlessly. I was able to plug in all my UK devices and appliances without any issues. The adapters were sturdy and well-built, providing a secure connection and ensuring that my devices received the proper voltage. They were also compact and lightweight, making them convenient to carry around. If you’re looking for reliable and efficient UK to US converting adapters, these ones are definitely worth considering. They saved me a lot of hassle and made my trip a lot more enjoyable.

US sockets often very loose, particularly if using a 2 pin without the third earth prong. But these seem well made and worked fine staying in place fairly well

At the end of the day there is only so much you can say about a travel plug. However, the order arrived quickly and well wrapped. That being said no excess packaging was used and it had been packaged nice and compact to make sure there was no materials or space wasted.

The plugs themselves are compact enough as well, meaning you can easily chuck them in either your carry-on or checked luggage. They fit UK plugs well, a little grippy so there is no risk of them coming loose, without being to stiff that it takes extreme amounts of effort to fit the plug.

    All in all very happy.

Works well and well made. Should last for a good few years.

This works well. It feels sturdy.

I never travel with just one adapter – this 2-pack is ideal.

These are good quality items that should see most people through their trip to the US. They’re sturdy and feel secure. Getting a two pack is a bonus as I always feel I want two as cover in case one doesn’t work or it feels insecure in the socket. I’ve had some dodgy converters in the past. I do take a good USB extender and with one UK plug socket, I am therefore covered on my priority things: laptop, camera, phone. A safe and handy buy I’d say.

Perfect for everything else but sadly I didn’t think about my toothbrush charger.other adapters do have an extra slot to put a toothbrush charger in but not these

This duo of travel plugs allow you to adapt you UK type G sockets to the Type B found in the Americas.

Not only do they fit in the USA but also Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Thailand, Aruba, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Jordan and more.

Geat for the usual suspects of smart phones, laptops, razors, lights, hair dryers, hair straighteners, curling irons, toothbrushes, curling irons, etc

Just follow the instructions and don’t overload the sockets.

    Recommended.

The US Plugs are very well made and solid build. Ive had many US plugs before but these feel hefty and will do the job no issues.
Its also great to see they have an earth as well

“2 pack UK to US Travel Adapter”

    Pros:
    Well made
    Pack of 2
    Solid and sturdy
    No safety concerns

    Cons:
    No

    Summary:
UK operates (residential) electricity at 230 Volts, with US being 120 Volts. What this means is that your piece of kit which would normally operate at 230V, will work at 120V albeit with drawbacks such as slow charging. This adapter WILL NOT convert voltage only the pins.

I was a bit worried about these as they come with the earth. Obviously this is safer, but from my memory not all US plugs had the third hole and it would be useless with that type of socket. Having just been out on a US trip though and stayed in five seperate hotels – everyone had the hole, so these were great (and safer!)

These adapters (allowing UK plugs to fit into US power sockets) work well, and include the Earth pin that not all adapters have, giving more safety. They are also sturdily made and I expect them to last for a few years.

Not much to say about these as I’ve not had a chance to actually test them but they are well made and you get 2 in the box which is good value for money.
I can update my review after I come back from America next year.

Two UK to USA adapters, plugs into a USA plug socket with two flat prongs with one rounded prong below in the center. They work exactly as they should, they fit into the wall nicely, and a UK plug fits into it nicely locking in place without coming loose. They are compact and don’t stick out the wall all too much and look neat and tidy.

You get 2 in a box they are both individually bagged, it is exactly as described and works as it should, good product. Make sure to double check exactly what countries adapter you need before buying.

Some sturdy plugs for my upcoming US trip. I know not all US plus have the 3rd pin, so hoping these will still work. The box says they don’t convert voltage – not knowing much about plugs now has me worried, is this something I need?!

    3 pins not 2 pins
