My old Belkin holder for my iPhone 7 couldnt support my iPhone 12 Pro Max so I opted for this. It uniquely designed and takes a while to get used to but once you do, it really does everything you need. The phone is held securely and it’s easy to remove with the push of a switch. The ball joint allows for tons of flexibility with phone position and the hook secures into my air vents just fine. It’s mainly like plastic but the build quality seems pretty good. It protrudes from the air vent more than my old holder did but it never gets in the way when I drive. Price is decent too compared to big name comparator products. Must have for bigger phones.
Got for my daughter’s car. I liked how it worked so got another for my wife. Then my mom need a mount so I bought one for her. She liked it so much that she bought another for her other car.
I’ve been using this phone mount for 1 month and it has worked really great so far. The phone holder is sturdy and adjustable to the phone. The hook attaches and stays on to the vent with no issue at all. I also appreciate that there are other mounting options available if you don’t want to use the hook. The customer support at VANMASS has been amazing.
It’s hard to secure your phone if you have a thicker case. My phone case has a slot for credit cards on the back and it doesn’t fit well in the holder. It works but would work better with a thin case.

Fantastic phone holder but it won’t work if you have a fancy case. I had to change my case to a silicone single one because it didn’t fit. Holds well and easy to get in and out and charge your phone in the car.
Definitely better than the other version.the option with the clip works better than before when it comes to stay in place. The only problem is that the angle is a bit off on certain vehicles (like VW golf mak V) and it rattles when there is no phone attached to it.

I could only fit the holder in one place, this was due to the width of the retaining arm. Can not be fitted in any of the others as not enough room.
For a brand I had never heard of and with so many options out there I have to say I got lucky with this purchase. Good quality, easy to install, doesnt move whilst driving. Looks good and doesnt stick out too far – dont pay more than you need to, this will most likely be the best of the rest.
A robust product at a reasonable price which is very easy to install. In fact the locking mechanism is the best I have seen. I only wish that it would self grab when placed in the cradle but that is a minor bit of criticism. A really good buy overall.

Good solid looking phone holder, connected well to the car. Had it in situ for a month then took it out to put in my van but it refused to tighten up. It just didn’t work after being used once. Bit disappointing really as I liked it, probably a faulty one off and I’m sure their other products are great. UPDATE 23/11/22 . The company have responded very quickly to my review and are sending out replacement items. Excellent customer service and I’m sure that the original item that I ordered was probably just a faulty one off.
I tend to have large phones such as the Samsung S21 Ultra (see photos) and all the phone mounts I’ve tried in the past, fail to hold that sort of weight without the phone drooping or worse, eventually falling down. The Vanmass air vent mount hook holder holds my phone securely whilst also giving flexibility in location and orientation. I was impressed by the first cradle and so bought a second one for another car: the design works perfectly in both cars: a 3 year old BMW and a 17 year old one.
I experimented with different locations for the holders and I discovered one of the hook brackets had a fault. I reported this to the seller and within three days they shipped me not just a bracket but an entire replacement holder and all done with the utmost politeness and efficiency.

Like most people, we were finding that Google Maps is far superior to our in car Satnav. So this car phone holder has revolutionised our lives. No more looking down to the phone on your lap!
It’s sturdy and easy to fit. It fastens easily to the air vents. The phone itself holds in well and you can adjust it to face where you want. There’s a release mechanism for when you’ve finished
My only tiny downside is that it obscures our clock so just think about the best place for it.
We were so pleased with it we bought a second one for our other car!
Overall – first class and thoroughly recommended
The product is the best car holder I’ve found for air vents. Firm grip to the vent so no flopping about as you drive, no risk of the phone holder detaching from the vent. Hold large phones well, I have a s22 ultra pretty much the biggest phone you can get and it holds it perfectly.
Will buy for my other cars.

Excellent item and really good quality. Unfortunately when I was trying to remove it from my car I accidentally broke it. I told this to the customer care team and they sent me a replacement for free. Excellent customer service.
Phone holder looked great and well built but the tightening mechanism didn’t work so left this item unusable. Disappointed!!

I brought the vent option of the phone holder and it was amazing. The quality of the product was of a high standard but I sadly lost one of the screws that connects it to the main body of the holder. I emailed Vanmass customer support to but a replacement screw but with no quibble they sent a brand new total phone holder replacement with a lovely message from Krista as no cost to me! Very easy to install, the metal hook/clip is an amazing upgrade with a safety click system. So you don’t don’t break it doing it up.
I’ve brought 3 other phone holders from window to magnetic, this is the best by far.

This is a great product. I have an iPhone with a hard case and other in-car holders have struggled with the weight of this. Magnetic ones are useless, the phone just doesn’t stay on them. But this is just right – easy to install, sits nicely on the fan and is very easy to adjust for different size and shape phones.
Also a very good price for what you get. I would highly recommend it.
These are superb mounts. I bought one for my wife’s car as well. Easy to install, secure and you don’t get marks on your screen. I previously bought a windscreen mount for my truck from this company but it broke nearly 12 months later. I contacted the company and 3 days later a replacement arrived FOC. Excellent customer service.
The latch that attaches to the car’s air vent jammed when opening and now will not move. Useless product, don’t buy!!!
Update: Seller responded to my negative review and sent me the updated model, which addresses the majority of the design issues with the previous air vent securing mechanism which has now been totally redesigned. Additionally, the pack came with a second flexible longer stork fitting option which provides a solution to mount the device on a flexible arm that has a windscreen sucker securing mechanism. The only reason I have not given it a 5 star rating is that the remodel air vent securing mechanism is still a little flimsy, but. Generally works okay.
Got this for my Toyota Yaris 2018 which have small, narrow vents. It only really fits nicely on the middle 2 vents out of the 4 as it is quite bulky. It is very sturdy when tightened. Only thing to keep in mind is the hook clip extends only so far so if your vents are wide then you might struggle to get the hook to fit. For my Yaris I’ve has to extend it to the longest length and then tighten it.
Brilliant product, no vibration or unnecessary movement holds the phone firmly and is the best phone holder i have ever bought (and i have had a few).
Did have an issue with a part but contacted Kitty at customer services and a new replacement was with me within 4 days! fantastic support!!
UPDATE – Krista from Vanmass contacted me and has been a star – she has resolved the original issue and very quickly sent me a replacement – there are no issues with the replacement, so my original item was obviously faulty – excellent customer service from Krista and from Vanmass based on this excellent service and working replacement, i would recommend Vanmass products Original rating now changed from a 2 to a 4 based Vanmass’ resolve!!
I initially returned this product and got a refund from Amazon as the retractable element stopped working. The seller contacted me out of the blue and offered to send a replacement for no charge. They did so, very quickly with excellent communication along the way. I’ve now had it in my car for a week or so and works brilliantly. Blown away by the level of customer service I received.
I have tried many phone holders for my car; gravity, magnetic, clamp. All have/had the exact same problem, they’d hold the phone to the holder, but the holder would always fall off and/or break. Granted, I have only had this for a day, but I can already tell how sturdy and well built this product is.
It’s pretty easy to install, just have to attach two things and tighten as appropriate!
It holds the phone well and has a very good grip system for the phone to hold it in place!

I did have a problem with the screw hook bracket that fits in the air vent but Vanmass sent a replacement immediately, without hesitation. In fact the part arrived in two days.
If I ever have to replace it I will buy another Vanmass.
I have a large phone and previous holders were not strong enough. However, this is a well made product
and I recommend it. A little fiddly to initially install but once in, stays in!
Got them installed on BMW X3 and the problem was the flaps on vents are very fine , they direct air not hold back the waves. and were not firm enough for the original supplied type of fitting , constant wobble. “MILITARY GRADE ” , not sure on that definition .Although initial fixings caused vibrations the seller persevered with alternatives that eventually resolved the problem. Full marks , thanks !!!
This may be a universal attachment but it will suit some cars better than others. Mine (an old Mondeo) was a little tricky and I could not secure it as I would have wished, but despite that it holds well and does the job. One slight drawback is that the phone can move slightly from the preferred angle as the air vent is circular and can rotate with a jolt, but obviously that is not a problem to adjust.
This is so much better than holders that stick to the dashboard or window and inevitably fall off eventually.
This is a really well /designed engineered and well-manufactured item. I give special mention to the fact that the metal hook tightening mechanism has an integral torque limiter so it is impossible to over-tighten the metal hook and damage the vent. Mine is fitted in a (RHD) Tesla Model S in the vent just to the left of steering wheel (see pic). The installation was a bit fiddly due to the vent size, which is only just wide/tall enough, but persistence paid off and I am very happy with the result.
I originally purchased the version with plastic grips that ‘clamp’ the vane rather than the metal clip supplied with this item that clips over the top of the vane. Those grips did not work with my car. Vanmass provided amazing customer service by sending an unsolicited email offering alternative mounting option and refunding the price I had paid. I then found out about the metal clip version, which, as reported above, is a satisfactory solution for my car.
