5 Pcs Plant Support Flower Stakes Single Stem Plant Supports

This set includes 5 plant support stakes and a pack of little clips. My peony is about to flower, & I’ve used a couple of rods to support the most top-heavy flower stalks that were starting to lean across the path, and the other rods for other flower stalks doing the same. The plant supports are made of strong, thick metal rods, so they don’t bend at all, and they press easily and firmly into the soil. They function well, and being a dark green colour they blend in well with the surrounding plants. I found it a little difficult to put the rods around the plant stems at first, but once I realised I needed to do that first, before pressing the rod into the soil, it was easy. I’m not sure whether I’ll ever use the little plastic grips, as there doesn’t seem to be any need for them. All in all, though, this is a useful set of plant rods that should last for many years – and at 8.69 are value for money.
