Great mini PC , works smoothly, support Netflix, Prime no issue with 4k resolution, Graphic card support latest Kicad 7.02, FreeCad etc.
5* Vfm Pocket Rocket Gaming Mini PC Ok excellent almost plug and play You just need to download Amd latest drivers to get the best out of this little Gem.
You can Play Forza 4 , Tomb Raider and more. mainly for light gaming and general pc work Runs like a dream so far no issues.
A tiny windows 11 pc that’s blisteringly fast, for my purposes I need a docking station to allow for all my USB add ons, but I’d guess most people would manage without. It really is plug and play and boots almost instantly, much quicker than my monitor!
I bought the Ryzen 7 chip for this and it runs extremely smooth, if a little noisily. The finish is great, I thought the colour could look childish but it’s actually classy and has a metallic finish. It arrived promptly and with a box with lots of cables
Bought this as an upgrade to my previous desktop and because it is a space saver. I have 3 work laptops so space is at a premium
Upgraded the RAM to 32GB and installed a 1TB SSD.
Now to the linux install. At the time of writing the latest version of linux mint 21.1 vera, detects the wifi but does not create a wifi device. Wifi does work with Mint 21 but when I upgraded to 21.1 it caused problems. Wifi for me is not important because i had previously got a Bros Trend wifi to network adapter and it works really well. Sound works fine through HDMI and USB but the headphone jack refuses to work. Again not a show stopper for me.
For the work I do (Coding Media and General ).it is a great fast desktop. Don’t do any gaming, so wouldn’t know about that.
Finally it is virtually silent. Also important for me
I bought the Intel i5 version due to the superior intergrated graphics compared to the AMD Ryzen chip thats also available. Its quiet in operation, faster than my i5 Dell lap top that it replaced and overall a much better proposition due to superior graphics, speed and footprint. I do not game but I do use it for watching 4k content on You Tube and Amazon Prime and some light music production, not once has it given me a problem.
The only “issue” I have experienced is with the wifi adaptor which would not connect on several occassions, this was despite having a full wifi signal elsewhere in my home. Trigkey support was excellent and replied in good time to my email and after making a few adjustments all is now well. Price wise I bought it the day prior to a “discounted” price ending, the day after the non-discounted price reduced again!
Amazon do not do a price match, buyer beware!
Would I recommend this item or buy from Trigkey again, yes most certainly, would I but it again through Amazon, NO definitely NOT. A recent experience has taught me to use local outlets to purchase high value items, which according to Amazon this is, enough said!
Purchased this purely for Blender 3D modelling game assets using my works monitor and works perfectly.
Not encountered any issues, slowness or reduction in quality compared to my main extremely powerful gaming / VR game development pc. It boots up in seconds, is silent and is so small, fits neatly on my desk or securely in my drawer when not in use. Surprisingly good bit tech for the price and size.
Open the box. Power up. Go through first time setup and any windows/driver updates. Away you go.
I just put a 1TB SSD inside, to give me a little more storage space I am happy.
Bought this to replace a friends aging PC. Used mostly as a business machine. It more than handles that. The main thing is size. What the cram in is amzing, bluetooth and wireless, USB two HDMI. Came nicely boxed and was easy to set up. Comes with buitin NVMe so is quite fast. It also has the facilty for adding a SSD.
For the money for a general purpose machine you can’t go wrong.
great pc does everything you want don’t know about gaming because i dont use it for that but good little ki
Purchased this for home office and light gaming – performs very well, small size super convient, very quiet, enough power for what I need it for, start up is fast. Cant fault it.
After previously buying a mini pc which made a noise like a gale wind I was skeptical. However, this is near silent and very fast. The product is well worth the money and for a home office PC its brilliant. Highly recommended.
I would only complain about the lack of a USB-c on the back. so four stars.
Was told about this item by a friend. brilliant bit of kit. recommend to anyone for a faster experiance.
Computer works well, but is set up for America & is a bit tedious to get totally British. It goes to sleep if you set it to in settings, but if you select sleep from the start menu it wakes up immediately. It does not wake up by moving the mouse, you have to push the on button on the computer. I don’t play games so cannot judge its suitability for tha
Have to say this mini PC is absolutely fantastic. For such a small case, it is a little flying machine. Bootup is in about 5 seconds and the windows speeds are great for such a small package. This replaced a full tower case, and its like night and day…..even the fan sound is non existent compared to the whine of my old desktop. Very, very happy with this purchase.
This arrived in a small box and I was a little surprised to be honest of how small it was. Gone are the days of the big towers like we had when I was at school. Inside the box you get the mini PC, a wall bracket, an HDMI lead, and an adapter. I’ve never seen anything this small before so I wasn’t expecting much but this is a great little machine that runs very quietly and is much more powerful than it would look to be. I shall be gifting this to my son to use as unfortunately he shares a bedroom with his sister and we are limited on space but he really wants a computer. My partner and I have put it to the TV and trailed Facebook ,Internet searching, watching a movie and a few of the games that he uses and pretty confident that it will meet his needs. He already has a TV that’s compatible. It has a 16 GB ram and a 500 GB of storage and both of these are expandable. I can’t believe that something so small can be a all in one mini computer And will meet all of the variety of needs of life in technology world
Sadly a faulty HDMI spoiled the experience and lead to wasted hours trying to fault find. Whilst the company appears to be genuinely helpful they seem to have limited technical experience (certainly in the Linux area) but I do trust them. In the end I tracked it down myself the install was painless, wifi and sound both working out of the box. Quiet, good performance for size, pleasantly surprised on speed of boot up etc.
Surprised by how small it was and very pleased with how easy it was to set up. Met all my expectations with regards to performance.
You get little Monster with latest Wifi for little cash. Well made Mini Pc. I’m satisfied completly!!!
It replaced my 7 yr old laptop and so far is great, both in value and the speed it operates
I was totally surprised at just how so much performance is packed into this device. It replaced an old tower pc I had with something aking to an external HDD. Now my whole pc fits into my jacket pocket. It performs spectacularly and takes up so little space. Well happy and would recommend other to give it a go, you will not be disappointed.
obust mini PC , everything works as you expect it , fast and non issues so far – win 11 pro is great out of the box.
i use it for browsing the web and it works really well and is very quick at doing what it does
It’s crazy how far the technology has moved in the past few years. This is a computer that’s smaller than a box of chocolates but it’s powerful enough for most work tasks and occasional gaming. I’ve played Forza Horizon on it and Halo Infinite on it and while I had to play on low graphics settings, the games still looked good enough and were running at a healthy 30-40 fps. Photoshop works great, editing images is a breeze and the fact that I can hook it up to my 4k monitor is amazing. Honestly, given the small form factor and the price, it’s an absolutely fanstastic computed – with the current promo you just need to grab a monitor for it and you can have a complete quite powerful work computer setup for under 500 quid. I love this PC!
This is very fast and I bought it for audio production. I returned it because the fan had an annoying habit of switching on and off every nine seconds. It’s not a loud fan but the fact that it kept being triggered was unacceptable for my usage as I’m recording acoustic guitar. I don’t know if it was only my unit. Everything else was very good about it if you can live with that tiny click of the fan stopping and starting all the time.
Very very pleased so far.. Its pretty rapid and boots up in seconds. I had a big gaming rig but decided to give up gaming, sell all my stuff and take a new hobby..
So i went to digital drawing and electronics.. For such a small package it packs a decent punch! It runs my drawing software (PS, Krita) very easily whilst having other programs open too. It plays simple games like Rimworld. Minecraft etc with decent ease!
Best part is its quite, and so compact its literally mounted to the back of my monitor by a little vesa mount bracket (which comes with the mini pc)
I reccomend it highly for your normal daily use and hobby!
This is a great little machine that is quiet and more than powerful enough for my office needs. I have installed Debian on it and it mostly worked apart from needing to go to a TTY session on first boot and install firmware-realtek for the NIC and firmware-amd-graphics for the graphics in order for it to boot into the desktop environment.
I’ve not been able to get bluetooth to work yet, it’s not a deal breaker, but it would be nice. I’ve been in touch with support through Amazon, so hopefully we can get this resolved. I will update the review in due course.
I’m very glad to have bought this before the 70 price hike.
Worked out of the box and seems to run the things I need. Not a gamer so can’t vouch for gaming experience. But so far so good!
I bought this to replace my Rizen 5 3600 with Geforce 1050TI tower. Now while I have to dial the settings down a little to play minecraft, it runs all my other apps just fine.
It also takes up way less space on my desk and lookspretty cute too.
Very happy indeed.
This little marvel of a device is superb. It works seamlessly, excellent spec & quick to user response, so quiet too. Highly recommended.
Had this mini pc for three weeks and it has worked without a glitch. Came pre-loaded with windows 11 pro.
No problem setting it up. I was quite surprised how quick this mini pc works. I am glad a chose the Ryzen 5 5560 version it is worth the extra cost. The saving in power consumption compared to my old desktop
PC is quite substantial. With the cost of energy it is paying for itself.
Small but mighty-16G of Ram, 512G of SSD Hard Drive, i5-10th generation intel. Set up easily. Still on learning curve with WIN 11 Pro. Only negative so far is that USB ports are upside down on front side. Delivered by Amazon in 2 days. Liked it so I bought a 2nd one. Use it for light gaming, internet and email.
The TrigKey S5 , is a mini palm size computer running windows 11. At the heart of it all is a 6 Core 12 Thread Mini Ryzen 5 5560Up to 4.0GHz). It has a generous 16G DDR4+ together with 500Gb NVME SSD and a 6Core 1600MHz HD Graphics, WIFI-6E, Bluetooth 5.2 . For a palm size PC it has a generous amount of USB ports, and dual HDMI capable of 4K resolution.
In the Box:
As can be expected the box is not very big – the unit is well packaged – In the box you receive a, the unit itself together with a power adaptor. 2 HDMI cables , one long and one small ( more on this later), a metal mount and screws to attach to back of monitors, a quickstart guide, and and a hard disk cable should you wish to upgrade.
Appearance:
The dark Grey/black colour is neutral and will suit most users. I personally prefer this darker colour as I feel it is more fitting for the its intended purpose. It does not shout at you to say hey look at me. It quietly just sits there looking cool. The ports all seem to be placed nicely at the front and back of the unit the front contains the power switch, 2x USB3 ports, 1x USB-C port and a combo headphone/microphone jack. The back of unit is shown in the video. Just beneath the top cover sit the cooling vents which to me look fantastic as it makes the unit look and feel powerful. The unit itself is light, but does feel very solid and robust. Though I would not go around dropping it from a first floor window , I am pretty sure minor knocks and drops would not be a problem for this unit. I would have preferred also a stand for the unit, as my monitor does not have a mounting area at the back. A minimalistic type of simple stand to stand the unit vertically next to or behind the monitor would simply add to its appeal. I would also mention that just for fun I connected it to a large screen TV and the image quality was reasonably good.
Perfomance:
The TrigKey S5 ,5560 , was plugged and connected to the HD dell monitor. The unit was extremely quiet throughout the general operation.
My surprise the fan started to blare for a few seconds as do desktop PCs- I was not expecting the unit to have a cooling fan in it. Most mini PC tend to be solid state and only use heatsinks and vents as a cooling method. Having a fan also indicated to me at this point that this unit means business and is likely to be powerful.
The Windows 11 startup screen appeared very quickly in about 5 seconds and I went through the set up process which took barely 1 minute — within 2 minutes I was all up and running and browsing the net. Which was working fantastically fast even on my slow connection. I ran some HD videos on Youtube and they all seemed to run extremely flawlessly with very little ( if any ) freezing, delays, or dithering. The picture and videos were very smooth and refresh was excellent.
In order to test the unit to its full graphic handling capabilities I attempted a few games online. I am not a gamer , so I enrolled the assistance of my 9 year old son who showed me a few games to test. Any way , handling and screen refreshing was indeed very smooth and tactile. No frame freezes or any Glitching was seen.
Day to Day tasks:
I am no computer technician so I am unable to comment on the exaxt stats of performance related statistics the manufactuers claim . All I can say is that this unit worked equally as well as my Intel I5 10th Gen Dell PC . though I did not fully test it,. Looking at the graphics chip in the unit , I am certain it will outperform many desktop PC’s in the gaming performance.
Day to day work , office, internet , graphics drawings etc , worked well and with no errors. The speed , The unit rarely heated up as I did not hear the fans running even after 3 hours of continuous use. Though I guess any high performance work would no doubt warrant the need for the fans to kick in.
Conclusion/Summary:
I think the The TrigKey S5 5 5560, is a great PC for most people and businesses, especially those who are limited on space.
It would suit those who require the ease connectivity and performance of a desktop but do not want to be restricted by lack of upgrade options of a laptop This unit is un-hindering, especially if it is attached to the back of the monitor.
I’ve never seen such a tiny “desktop” PC in my life and I was concerned about setting it up but thankfully it wasn’t too hard for this Luddite. I know I’m nowhere near exploiting it’s full potential yet and have benefitted from reading other reviews so I know it’s impressive. I plan to use it for fun and writing rather than business so I’ll play around and hopefully learn as I go. So far so good!
Was really surprised when the small box turned up, we’ve always been used to a massive tower. In the box came the computer unit, power cable, mounting bracket and hdmi cable. The computer has 2 hdmi connections, so you can connect to a tv/monitor via the hdmi lead. Really easy and simple to set up; put in the mouse, keyboard and Internet cable, turn on and the set up instructions are on the screen to follow. Was up and running from taking out the box within 10 minutes. Compact and lightweight in design, it’s perfect to fit anywhere, it freed up alot of space for us. It works really well, no getting warm at all and isn’t loud when in use. With windows 11 pro, the programs/settings are easy to navigate. It works just aswell as a full size desktop and laptop. No performance issues. With its multiple ports; 4 usb 2 hdmi, type c, it adequately suits our needs, from simple browsing the web, using social media and watching films and videos. So far, so good, no issues at all. Compact size with full size performance. We’re really pleased with it.
Until I seen this I’d never even heard of mini pcs if I’m honest!
I wasn’t expecting too much from it but boy have I been pleasantly suprised.
It has 16gb ram which is excellent in something so small, 500gb of storage both of these are not only expandable but incredibly easy to do so. I added another 500gb hdd from an old laptop, it popped in easily and works fantastic.
I wanted to try gaming and again didn’t have high expectations, I tried a few of my favourite indie games (starsand/stranded deep) and they both run great!
Starsand on medium and stranded deep on ultra, I’m genuinely shocked!
I will be trying more demanding games and will update.
It runs fluidly, starts up quickly and has a generous amount of ports.
For mid range gaming, video editing, day to day use, office use etc. This is an awesome space saving option, so easy to set up and move around to which is a great bonus.
Genuinely can’t recommend this enough
This is the first time I’ve heard of this type of personal computer, I didn’t even know that you could get essentially, what is just the tower part of a normal computer system.
This is just that…. But this isn’t a tower, it’s a small, totally portable computer with multiple ports to add your own display monitor, keyboard, mouse etc etc and with wireless connectivity to WiFi and Bluetooth you can add a multitude of wireless devices such as printers/scanners, wireless keyboards and mice etc etc.
Supplied with the computer is a hard drive connection strip (for adding an external hard drive or solid state drive) hdmi cables (1 x short and 1 standard length for hooking up to a TV/display monitor) a mounting bracket and screws and a couple of manuals (1 which explains how to fit an external hard drive and the other covering some basics)
The only things you’ll need to get yourself up and running initially is a monitor (I chose to use my 55inch living room TV, connected with the hdmi lead) a wired keyboard and wired mouse, both connected to a USB port.
This computer has the Windows 11 Pro operating system (which is superbly and simply designed might I add) and is relatively easy and intuitive enough to use with tutorials to walk you through some of its capabilities. The computer can connect wirelessly to your homes WiFi on either 2.4ghz or 5ghz and set up is very easy.
After setting up, I chose to add a wireless Bluetooth keyboard and mouse as I’ll be using this PC permanently with the living room TV and don’t want trailing wires. The addition of the bluetooth keyboard was easy and added in seconds allowing me to disconnect the wired keyboard etc freeing up the USB ports for further additions.
I’ve wall mounted this just behind the TV and used the supplied Hdmi lead which delivers crisp image quality on my HD TV. I did have to manually adjust the display as the computer didn’t seem to automatically recognise the display size. This was just a case of trial and error and eventually got the perfect fit to the screen.
I’ve tested various aspects of this computer out from surfing the Internet to gaming and this has been quick and fluid on everything.
The usual options are in this windows platform to create restore points and a rescue disk etc and is all made easier with a simple search bar for whatever setting you want to adjust or change, so no need to search for a particular option or menu, just type in your request and the computer will bring up nearest matches for you to click on.
Port wise, there is 4 x USB ports, 2 x hdmi ports, a LAN port for wired broadband, a type C port, headphone jack plug socket and of course the power lead socket.
It has a mini cooling system built in with vents either side of the box, although you can add an external set of cooling fans if you feel the need. Tbh I left this on for several hours and it didn’t struggle whatsoever with no signs of over heating.
This is a super little device that cuts down on the space needed for a large tower etc and is even smaller than a laptop. I didn’t even know these existed lol.
If you’re looking for a small, portable, very capable, quick and intuitive computer that you can add your own display to, keyboard etc that you can literally take anywhere with you and connect to TVs/monitors that has quick and easy Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and that can handle multitasking easily as well then you’ll be amazed at this tiny computer.
Where I’ve located this, you wouldn’t even think that I had a fully working computer in the living room lol and as it’s easily moved being a compact size, I can take this anywhere with me.
It has a huge amount of storage at 500Gb (disk C) a very capable graphics card for smoother gaming, a fast processor and a large RAM memory for quicker loading etc.
Combined with Microsoft Edge Internet browser (although you can use Google chrome or any other browser if you like) as well as the Microsoft store for easy purchasing of apps and games, some free this makes the computer feel very complete and professional yet easy to use.
My advice after setting up is create a rescue disk ASAP with an external USB stick of at least 16Gb (this can help to rescue your computer in the event of being hacked or getting a virus or any other stability issues) create yourself a restore point, obtain a decent antivirus and if you want to obtain private Internet browsing then you can use VPN software (virtual private network).
If you’re paying hundreds of pounds for a computer it makes sense to protect your purchase. Also make sure you update the Windows 11 Pro operating system with security updates etc so you’re always running the latest updated Windows 11 Pro with all the support that goes with it.
I have been very impressed with this mini PC and its actually faster and more modern than any of our laptops and tower PC we have indoors and I can move this anywhere I want for playing media onto projector screens outdoors, adding my laser engraver, printer and other peripherals such as webcams, headphones and mic etc etc.
Superb product and well worth the money. You won’t be disappointed.
This little gem is being used for astro imaging so is running some quite intensive software and also controlling various equipment using all it’s USB ports. It is running starmap applications, capture software, guide software and various interfaces and drivers to the mount, a main camera and guide camera and electronic focuser at a minimum. It is doing these intensive tasks for several hours and has not missed a beat. It replaces a raspberry pi based system that I found unreliable.
I have also added an additional SATA drive to increase the storage and it fits inside the case. One great thing is it comes with a small mounting bracket which made it easy for me to rig up to the observation equipment outside.
I’ve also used this for running office and other normal applications in the course of setting it up and I’ve noticed no issues with performance at all.
Setup is a breeze. As soon as you turn it on the system will start a setup process for windows 11. This take a little while and the pc will reboot. I found that the monitor was blank for quite a while and I could not kick it back it during the setup and had to unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in and found the display kicked back in. . It was probably a timeout on my monitor rather than the PC but just a heads up if this happens during setup try this step. Otherwise no issue at all.
As I use all the usb ports to connect equipment there’s none left for keyboards and a mouse so I remote desktop into the PC so I can control it in the warm! So having Windows 11 Pro version is a real bonus as only the pro version comes with RDP built in and I don’t need an third party solution installed.
Even after several hours chugging away the heat was manageable, this was something I was concerned about given the demanding application but I needn’t be..
Great how fit’s so many ports in the small profile, even a networking port! One other thing that is important for me is the wifi range. This was outside in a garden but managed to connect to the wifi without issue in the house. I was expecting to have to use a seperate usb wifi adaptor with external antenna but the internal one was fine.
Overall exceeded all my expectations in every way.
For everyday tasks and being a Ryzen 5 with 16gb of DDR4 and an NVME storage card it’s easy work for this so I decided to move straight on to gaming as everyday tasks with this pc are not pushing it at all, I tried pubg and it runs fantastic in 1080 I would say enough to be competitive even, I noticed no slow down in FPS at all, it also comes ready to go out the box with a copy of Windows 11 pro.
I would say this is more than good enough for
1080p gaming in most modern games
Makes light work of everyday tasks
Even runs photoshop no problem
With added storage would make a great media hub
All in all, proof that good thing can indeed come in small packages.
I was looking for a lower power PC to be on all day as my desktop uses a lot of power.
Looking at the specs, this PC ha low power consumption but has reasonable performance – it probably won’t play the latest PC games but it easily handles YouTube videos and some light video processing.
I booted Windows 11 long enough to confirm operation but quickly replaced that with Xubuntu 22.04 LTS.
Everything works out of the box with no problems apart from the known issues with the latest Xubuntu, nothing to do with the PC.
It is also quiet in operation with some fan noise that tends to come on and off at short intervals.
The CPU temperature sits around 40C-50C and only gets higher when pushed hard. The cooling system seems to well up to the task.
All in all, a very good, low power PC that will easily handle day to day tasks.
This product arrived on time and the day after I ordered it and was a doddle to set uo and everything is working perfectly.
Seems very usefull
every pen/usb or cable works fine and comes with windows 11 pro and fast
very good product until now
We bought a Celeron G2 Mini-PC from this company last week because its app performance was amazing, but games show evident processor lag. The Celeron was not powerful enough of a computer for us. For $150 more we bought this AMD R3 3200U (Up to 3.5GHz) 16GB DDR4 500G NVME SSD Mini-PC the very next day. While waiting, I done a lot of research on the Vega 3 graphics processing unit in this machine and 80% of the reviews were negative.
The results of that research was pure lies.
There was no game we were not able to install on this computer and play, at least run on minimal setting. 75% of games we installed ran at mid range settings.
The screenshots attached show the games that we kept on my sons eSchool PC.
All blizzard games ran on at least mid range settings except Overwatch which ran on low settings.
Diablo Immortal and Diablo 3 were our favorites.
From Steam we bought Garry’s Mod, Grand theft auto 5, Lost Ark, Counter Strike, Bug Snax.
All ran on mid setting, except Lost Ark, which ran on low settings.
Lost Ark would play on the Trigkey G2 MiniPC, but it lagged.
OUTRIDERS was un-playable. Not enough vram.
Overall, this was a perfect purchase for my son’s eSchool. Powerful enough for both work and play.
The PC was neat and compact most features worked mouse plugged and clicked ok, however there was no response when a keyboard was plugged into any USB port, so had to use the on screen keyboard. the item has been returned.
For some reason my previous review of this product has not yet been published so I will state again that I highly recommend this outstanding mini PC for its high specification, high performance and excellent value for money.
