Product exactly as described – speedy delivery and good value
This cord is amazing i use this for multiple things from a makeshift washing line to replacing shoes laces. I have brought from this company many times and have never had an issue
In the interests of transparency, I was invited by the manufacturer to review this cord, having been supplied with a free sample. Having stated this, my review is honest and unbiassed. Apart from the free sample, I received no other benefits.
The Cord
This Abma paracord is of the typical kernmantle design. It has 7 nylon cores (kern), each core comprising 3 twisted strands, and each strand comprising multiple filaments. The kern has been well formed, with an extremely well woven sheath (mantle). Simple friction tests suggest the abrasion resistance of the mantle is good, giving a durable cord. The tensile strength is quoted as 550lbs (250kg), but I was unable to verify this; but I have no reason to doubt it. The cord is very supple, flexible & light, making it suitable for wrist bands and other similar applications. It is available in a large range of colours, the test sample was Grey & Neon Pink which is very attractive. The UV resistance of the mantle has not been tested, but use over the forthcoming summer will put this to the test as my applications are outdoors. The tensile strength of the cord comes from the kern, and the mantle provides protection for this, both for abrasion and UV radiation. When cut, the ends require heat sealing (a lighter will do) to prevent fraying. A normal requirement for synthetic polymer based kernmantle ropes & cords.
Note: this cord is NOT certified for climbing or life critical applications.
My applications include guy lines for my expedition tent, sail control lines on my sailing canoe, and binding of the loom on my wooden deep water canoe paddle. I have used it to make a prussik loop for a canoe haul line, and it works very well in this application.
This Abma cord is of high quality and represents excellent value for money. I have used Abma products in the past and have never been disappointed.

There is a great range of colours, which I use for different tasks in the garden, around the house and for work.
As a professional photographer, I make sure I always have a roll of Paracord in the grip bag. It has endless uses on set. Because of its strength, I’ve used it to tie down and stabilise tall lighting stands and reflectors in windy conditions. As well as being fun to use, the vibrant colours have the added benefit of being easily seen, so good from a health and safety point of view. Conversely, the muted colours can blend into the background when you don’t want them to be visible.
This is a great product which I can’t recommend highly enough.
I have used this for securing baggage, fixing wind breaks and hanging heavy items. It is a thin cord but is very strong.

Having previously bought Abma paracord I was pleased that their new cord continues to be of good quality. There are some aesthetic improvements in terms of the pattern on the cord, which is both pleasing to the eye as well has helping to draw attention to the cord. The cord remains strong, like my previous purchase. There is a handy little pin to keep the cord in place on the reel. I would chose Abma paracord again. Lighter for scale, but it’s also good for sealing the ends to stop fraying.

Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell, die Ware traf einen Tag nach Bestellung ein. Der Artikel war gut verpackt und die AbmaCord so aufgespult und gesichert, dass sie ohne zu verheddern abzurollen war.
Haptik, Handhabung und Verarbeitung:
Die AbmaCord fhlt sich sehr wertig und gut verarbeitet an. Diverse Knoten und Schlingen lieen sich sehr gut knpfen und anschlieend wieder ohne Probleme brechen”.
Fazit:
Ich freue mich darauf das Produkt im Outdoorbereich, sprich am Tarp, im SurvivalCamp und an der Hngematte lnger zu testen. Der erste Gesamt-Eindruck war durchweg sehr gut und die AbmaCord steht anderen Herstellern hier beim ersten Test in nichts nach.
Bestellt habe ich das Paracord in der Farbe Neon Orange.
Hauptschlich war die Schnur zum Campen gedacht, hier macht es die Farbe um einiges Sichtbarer und man bersieht es nur schwer.
Ich wollte es zudem um Werkzeuge wie Messer und Co. zu markieren um diese dann im Wald und Gras besser finden zu knnen, daher hatte ich mich fr diese Farbe entschieden.
Da ich bereits Artikel von Abma Cord benutzt hatte wusste ich, dass die Qualitt gut ist und habe mich daher auch hier fr Abma Cord entschieden.
Die Schnur kommt in einer kleinen Schachtel und ist dann auf einer Spule aufgewickelt, ein verheddern beim abwickeln ist so nicht mglich. Es wird zwar eine Nadel mitgeliefert, aber eine Einkerbung in die schwarze Spule in der man die Schnur dann vor weiterem Abwickeln sichern knnte wre sehr Hilfreich, vielleicht kann Abma Cord hier noch ausbessern. Mit einem Messer kann man sich hier aber schnell selbst Abhilfe leisten.
Die Schnur ist in gewohnt guter Qualitt. Sie ist sehr schnittfest und lsst sich gut biegen, was das verknoten stark vereinfacht.
Der Kreativitt bei der Benutzung sind keine Grenzen gesetzt. Ich benutze es vorwiegend beim Campen, zum abspannen, als Wscheleine, zum Sichern von Gegenstnden, zum markieren von Werkzeug und auch fr sonst alles andere wo man eben eine Schnur braucht. Wenn man eine dnnere Schnur braucht, kann man die Strnge aus dem inneren ebenfalls hervorragend nehmen, diese sind dann aber Wei.
Man kann die Schnur auf der bentigten Lnge abschneiden. Achtung es muss dann wieder verschweit werden da es sonst wie bei Paracord blich ausfranst. Verschweien ist hier aber ganz einfach entweder mit einem Feuerzeug oder ein Teelicht. Mehrmals durch die Flamme ziehen bis dies verschmolzen ist. Dadurch ist es auch Unterwegs sofern man ein Feuerzeug dabei hat jederzeit und schnell auf die bentigte Lnge anpassbar.
Ich kann die Schnur daher nur empfehlen, sie erfllt ihren Zweck und das sehr gut.
Top Produkt benutz es berall ob im Wohnwagen um was aufzuhngen oder drauen fr mein tarp oder ein 3 Bein habs auch schon als Schnrsenkel genommen kann ich nur weiterempfehlen Langzeit test luft zur Zeit hab noch andere Produkte von der Firma alles top Qualitt!!
Ganz im Ernst… Das ist das beste Paracord, dass ich je gekauft hab! Ich hab schon einiges an Paracord gekauft, aber das hier ist mit Abstand das Beste! Es ist schn schwer und fhlt sich sehr angenehm und robust an! Die Schnur hat keinen Knpffehler oder hnliches! Der Versand war auch top! Immer wieder gern! 5 Sterne alles top

Solid paracord, I used it for workout equipment, not to pull heavy weight but for wrist trainers and the likes. It does not fray, havent used it very long though.
It does the job well and I will keep on using this for other things too (handle wraps and similar stuff).

Ich habe das Paracord jetzt drei Wochen im Einsatz. In dieser Zeit habe ich damit mehrfach mein Tarp aufgebaut, hlt alles stabil wie es soll, auch wenn der Wind Mal strker pfeift. Die Knoten verrutschen nicht, das Material hlt Belastung gut stand.
Auch ein Lanyard fr mein Messer konnte ich mit dem Paracord wie gewohnt knpfen.
Man bekommt 30 Meter (wie bei 7 vs. wild ) ordentlich auf eine Spule gewickelt in einem kleinen Karton geliefert. Das Paracord ist Made in China, der Hinweis fr den Kunden-Support ist u.a. auch auf Deutsch auf den Karton gedruckt. Die Lieferung ging wie gewohnt schnell.
Die Enden lassen sich ordentlich verschweien, und das Paracord tut, was es soll, also kann ich es empfehlen. Der Preis knnte vielleicht einen Euro gnstiger sein, dafr finde ich die Farben aber richtig nice.

At the risk of sounding lame -because this is paracord and it probably shouldn’t matter- this is the softest paracord I’ve ever handled. It really is a delight to work with and I imagine that if you were to make a bracelet out of it that softness would pay off. For my use of primarily camping I’m 100% pleased with it. Love the colour (holy guacamole and white) as it’s a departure from the usual plain/ utilitarian colourways. Well done Abma -a quality product!
Great quality paracord, useful or a million different things. It comes boxed and the 30m comes on a reel secured with a t-shaped pin. It can hold weight up to 550lb and comes in a variety of colours, although any colour ill suffice for my needs. It’s strong and durable and there is ample amounts of it. It is perfect for my need and I am really happy with the quality. Great Product.
This stuff is great to work with for macrame etc, and I’d take it camping, so top marks. Love the new purple colour too.
I’ve bought paracord from Abma before and have re-bought in a different colour. Great for camping usage, I’ve used for spare/additional guys or ridge lines for example, and also for paracord projects e.g. lanyard etc. Hasn’t let me down yet, seems very strong and the braided surface doesn’t fray (don’t forget to seal cut ends with fire to prevent those from fraying!).
Very pleased with this product. High quality paracord which I have been using for guy lines on a camping tarpaulin. Really strong and good visibility with the pink colour I chose. Would definitely buy again.

Habs gekauft wegen der Farbkombinationen fr Messer Lanyards, bin nicht enttuscht geworden. Alles bestens. Fr meine Zwecke wre vielleicht die mglichkeit von jeder hier angebotenen Farbe 5m zu nehmen noch interessant.
Bought 2 reels of this now,used for an emergency pull up after my father had mobility issues.Have used for hauling canoes up cliffs whilst on holiday. Very compact and so strong would 100% recommend !!
I have had my fair share of paracords from Abma, and I never had a bad thing to say about any of it. That does not change here.
As the product description says, this one is a seven strand version, and I have made a pic of it to see if that was true. Since it is, and the quality of the item is great, the only thing left to say is that I also really like the color. It’s not faded, but clean all the way through as far as I could see. Since I usually just buy the brown or black variants, I thought I might try something different, and am glad that I did that.
If you’re looking for a thinner than usual, yet 7 strand paracord rope, then this one is a good one to go for. I once more have no complaints.
Ich habe schon mehrfach Paracord von dem Hersteller gekauft und war jedesmal voll zufrieden. Das hier ist etwas dicker als die bisherigen. Es ist griffig, geschmeidig und liegt gut in der Hand. Ich habe so ein Seil immer bei meinen Reisen mit Motorrad und Zelt dabei, um verschiedene Sachen abzuspannen, defekte Riemen zu reparieren oder zu ersetzen, oder einfach etwas festzubinden.
This is the third set of paracord I’ve bought. Plenty of colours to choose from and a very good product. Useful for a variety of applications. Strong and high quality – would recommend.
This stuff feels really nice when working with it, smooth but tightens down nice and secure. Cuts without too much fraying and seals well with heat. Looks great for wraps and knots and its super strong too, I haven’t tested it to breaking limits or anything but more than strong enough for straps and tie downs, definitely putting some in my emergency kit. Colour I picked goes nice with most “Army” colours and IMO it looks great.

I’ve bought this brand of paracord a couple of times before. It’s good quality and the price is reasonable. At first I thought this was a new kind but it seems ‘shockwave series’ is just the colors. But that’s fine. I needed some more anyway. It’s strong and holds a knot well. Seems to handle the elements pretty well, too, although none of mine is left outside permanently. Recommended..
