- Are Allmax batteries rechargeable?
Allmax batteries are not rechargeable. Please DO NOT try to recharge alkaline batteries, which could lead to battery leakage or explosion. Alkaline batteries and rechargeable batteries are not interchangeable. You cannot recharge an alkaline battery.
- What is the capacity in mAh of the battery?
The battery’s mAh determines how long the battery will last, and performance varies based on the type of electronic device you use. When you use our batteries in smoke detectors, Allmax’s 9V batteries have a capacity of 720 mAh. This is good.
- Where can I find the expiration date?
You can find the expiration date on the body of the battery or on the box. It is marked with a “Best Before” date. Our Allmax 9V battery has a 7-year shelf life, meaning under proper storage conditions you can use it any time before this date.
- Will the battery fit in my device?
They usually do. For example, the height of our 9V batteries is 1.85 inches with an outer diameter of 0.66 inches. This conforms to IEC standards. So if the size of your battery compartment is designed to IEC standards, our batteries will fit.
- How are Allmax batteries packaged?
There is an Allmax 9V battery tightly wrapped in plastic shrink packs, with 48 shrink packs per package that are well-packed in boxes that are easy to open, easy to stock, reclosable, and impact-resistant, so your batteries are always protected.
- Can I store batteries in the refrigerator?
Not a good idea. It is best to store batteries in a cool, dry place. We DO NOT recommend storing batteries in the fridge – this does not lengthen battery life. For safety reasons, please keep batteries away from children and heat sources like fire.
- Are batteries affected by temperature?
Extreme high or low temperature is not good for batteries. DO NOT use or store batteries at high or low temperature. Low temperature may cause battery discharge capacity to drop, while high temperature may lead to battery leakage.
- What should I pay attention to during use?
Please remove the film around the battery before using it. Check whether the anode and cathode of the battery compartment of the device are normal, without dirt and rust. Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types or brands.

I just received these batteries a week ago. Each one comes individually wrapped in plastic. I installed one in my single 9V battery multimeter and it works good so far.
However, it’s gonna take weeks to find out how long it will last.
In all honesty I can’t speak for the longevity of these batteries because I haven’t used them long enough to pass judgement, however, I can speak for what my eyes tell me about probability. Let me start by saying these are the finest packaged and protected 9 Volt batteries I have ever seen and I’ve been around nearly eight decades. These batteries come individually sealed in a very sturdy cardboard box, no flimsy cardboard or plastic container. These batteries are packaged far better that either of the two top brands and one of those, Duracell, I have quit buying, due to mediocre performance from all their batteries, including leakage. To sum it up, all my future battery purchases will be ALLMAX, unless there is a performance issue, which I seriously doubt will happen.
I use these in smoke detectors and garage door keypads. I change them in the smoke detectors twice a year. The neat packaging js the best part – No plastic to fight with.

I needed one of these for a complaining smoke detector. They came quickly. The one I put in the smoke detector stopped it complaining. I am happy.
One other plus … The box they came in is perfect. Sturdy, re-closable, and just big enough to store the rest of the batteries. Many other batteries come in packaging that uses up more space than the batteries do, or must be destroyed to be opened. I give these batteries an Extra 1/2 Star just for the box.

Just what I needed for my battery case. Not many devices in the house need these, but the ones that do are the smoke alarms and the carbon monoxide monitors, and they always seem to need batteries at the same time.
I use these batteries for a pain-relief tens machine and they are ideal! Long lasting and easy to use.
So this product came charged properly.

Been using a well known film companys cheap batteries OK to start with but now lasting a very short time, so I thought I’d try this make, I must say they are top quality and power seems to last a lot longer, I’ve used them in Smoke Alarms, Multimeters, used 4 at once in a signal Generator and some electronic projects all work well, more than happy and will buy again.
Batteries were well packaged and fit well into my various appliances. None have run out yet after 2 months
