Q1: What devices can the power station charge?
A1: The AC output port can only charge or power devices that operate at less than 500W. Incompatible with appliances that require more than 200W input such as microwaves, electric grills, refrigerators, electric vehicles, coffee machines, and more.
Q2: What kind of solar charger can charge this product?
A: Any 11-28V solar charger with a DC 8mm (DC 7909) male connector.
Q3: How should I store and maintain the product?
– To preserve the battery lifespan, recharge it to 100% after every use.
– Turn on Power Saving Mode and turn off all the buttons on PowerHouse.
– We recommend recharging it 100% every month.
Q4: What should I do before using for the first time and what do I need to pay attention to?
A: Charge your portable power station to activate the battery before using for the first time. Do not use with CPAP overnight and in Power Saving mode.
Q5: Why does the power station’s battery drain even when no devices are connected?
A: When the AC and car socket control buttons are turned on, there will be a certain amount of no-load power consumption. To avoid this, make sure the control buttons are turned off, or turn on Power Saving mode when not in use.

Really handy thing to have, the battery capacity is ideal charging small devices for a week of camping, I use it with a 100w solar panel and it can keep up with a electric cool box too
I have 5 power station, this is my second smallest in wattage but I love this thing to bits. Can’t really fault it, charges up in less than 2 hours via the power lead and type C charger. Great to have in emergencies. Oh and the light is an ambient colour so not over bright.
Received the unit a day before the delivery window. Used the unit for the first time over the weekend to power my RC Car Charger and wasn’t expecting to have 80% charge left after that. I tested charging it from my car’s cigarette lighter socket on my homeward journey and was pleasantly surprised that it was fully charged when I arrived home. Very happy with the unit.
I had a problem with the usb c port so emailed customer support. Was impressed to receive a reply within a couple of hours. In the last week have had 2 further emails with suggestion to solve the problem.
Pleased that I chose the anker over their competitors
we use this in our motorhome and love it, allows us to see more off grid sites and keeps us going for a weekend watching TV, charging devices and making coffee!
Perfect for using in our motorhome to allow us to camp off grid and visit places we couldn’t have before.
Very easy to use and provide power for any of our appliances, including milk frother for making coffee and our TV as well as being able to keep all of our devices charged!
The solar panel is a great addition to keep the power station topped up throughout the day!
It charges really well, and is quick to recharge (I have only recharged using the mains, haven’t tried the car charger yet).
Obviously the 256w is somewhat underpowered but I knew that when I bought it. I almost bought the 512W but was overruled by she who must be obeyed!
I have plenty of powerbanks for mobile phones etc. – I only really got this to charge my laptop and a few other devices a few times in case of powercuts.
In summary, I’m really pleased with this device, if your budget can stretch to it I would say definitely go for the 512w version though.
It’s a doddle to use, although lacks any Bluetooth or Wireless capability. Plenty of sockets, a handy courtesy light and eco setting so it switches off after charging completes.
Overnight camping, emergency TV power in an outage, trickle charging car or bike batteriesit’s really handy, and should be good for over ten years regular use with LiFePo4 batteries.
New boiler draws less than 80W when running (mainly the pump), and this will give me a good 3 hours run time.
The LiFePO4 battery type is good for multiple recharges; plus I bought this when well discounted, so a sound investment.
EDIT
Just disappointed that you knocked 30 off less than two months later!!
as Anker wouldn’t give me an upgrade or abit of discount I thought rather than get the 521 again I thought get the bigger one that should last a good week on the things I charge
We will see how that goes
On and the picture with the display on is after 3 days of use and still on 100% where as I think it should be around 20% to 40%
The idea behind this purchase is to use it as a backup to power my Indel B TB15 fridge in my campervan, as well as the ability to charge mobile devices when out and about.
Test 1 – Powering an Indel B TB15 fridge at 3 degrees.
After charging the battery to 100%, this little power station managed to power total of 26 hours before reaching 1%. While not a scientific test, this should comfortably provide power for up to 24 hours for a small compressor fridge. Power consumption is 30-31W, but of course the compressor only operates intermittently.
Test 2 – Fastest Recharge to 100%.
For this test, I used the supplied 60W power adapter and a 65W USB-C power supply. Result: The battery charged from 1% to 100% in under 2.5 hours.
I will update this review with further tests, but so far I can highly recommend the Anker power station, especially with the 5 year warranty!
I hope you found this review helpful 🙂
