Annoyed this did not come with the weights, will have to buy a strong sturdy stand that will stay up and not blow down, apart from that, pleased with the umbrella we purchased in May this year.
Good size parasol and well used but buy a base as they blow over easily in a light breeze
Really pleased with the parasol. Even though the instructions were in German the illustrations with pictures made it easy to assemble fairly quickly.
The fabric of the umbrella feels strong and better than my last one.

I replace an aged 3m parasol with this new 3.5m one, and because the kids nagged me, I bought the one with LEDs in it. The box is large and heavy but only as much as it needs to be. It was delivered undamaged in a couple of days and assembly was really simple.
The parasol has a solar panel right on the top of it which charges a battery by day so you can switch them on at night. Because of the location of the panel, the parasol doesn’t have to be up to charge the battery, so it should be ready when you want to use the lights.
The base is a 4 spoke metal thing and it absolutely needs good support both to counter-weight the parasol and to prevent wind from moving it. The four struts can either be placed into the patio between slabs if you’re having a new patio fitted or can be as simple as a few heavy bags of soild, sand, whatever over each leg. There are also base panels that either come ready to use (VERY heavy) or ones you can fill with water. I elected for 4 x quarter circle pre-filled weights that fit between each of the spokes and give a visually appealing and very sturdy solution while not being a trip hazard.
The parasol itself is simple to adjust, both the cantilever and raising/lowering the parasol itself. It will definitely need a cover to protect it off seasons in the UK though.
As long as you buy this knowing you will need a base weight and a water-proof cover then you’ll be extremely happy with it, as I am.
