This is a cute small plastic toy that has some interesting sounds to amuse youngsters. It’s 4 inch across and 4 inch high so perfect for little hands. It is described as being suitable from 6 months but the box clearly states 12 months. My grandson is 12 months and I think this is perfect from this age. It’s quite heavy and I’d be a bit worried he would bash himself had I given this to him when he was younger. He’s now a lot more dexterous and was most interested in the noises this makes. If you push the hat it squeaks, if you twist the head it’s a ratchet sound and each tentacle clicks when you lift it up and down. My grandson can’t manage the hat yet but he has learnt to twist the head. He seems very keen on the lovely bright colours and cheeky face. The tentacles are easy for him to hold and despite it not having wheels he pushes it along. For 7.99 at the time of writing this review it’s decent value and would make a nice stocking filler.

Box states for children over 12 months but a nice little inexpensive toy.

Brilliant toy for hand eye coordination!
My girl loves to press – particularly the octopus arms with clicking sound and twisting the octopus head! Bright colourful and educational toy for early years.

Ordered this as a friend of mine has just had a new born and I thought this would be a great little gift for in a couple of months time when he starts to be a little more curious about sounds and feeling things. This is a colourful item with the tentacles , which when clicking up or down makes a click noise. The head when spun around makes a clicking noise too.

I think at the current price of 7.99 this is a reasonable price to pay for the item, just a shame there wasn’t more sounds with this.

Great to encourage movements and hear the sound.

This is a simple but colourful and entertaining toy and doesn’t need batteries. The hat on the octopus makes a squeaking sound when pushed down, when the head is turned it makes a clicking sound as well as the arms making a clicking sound when lifted up and down. At the end of all of the octopus’s arms there is a swirl that is raised but closer to the body the patterns are indented giving it more of a tactile feel to this toy. perfect for s child who seeks out sensory input. This toy is made of food grade plastic ABS and just needs wiping and leaving to dry to keep it clean and hygenic. Although it is described as a bath toy I think that babies will love playing with it out of the bath too.

A well priced Montessori sensory toy in bright durable plastic and shaped like an octopus with a hat on. The octopus makes squeaking noises when the tentacles are pressed and my young grandson loved playing with it. Helsp with eye to hand co-ordination for smaller children and would make a nice little stocking filler as well priced.

This is a nice colourful toy got babies over 6 month old. It’s very grippy for them so will help them strengthen their wrists. Plenty to grab hold of too.

Gets 5-5. It’s a good sensory toy for any babies.

My baby loves this, from the boingy head to the clicking feet everything about it makes her smile. Actually mainly the boinging squeaky head.

Its colourful and its a good size to hold onto, and even at 9 months my baby is managing to make the feet click (hasn’t quite managed to make the head spin round and click or the head squeak on her own but its a you you can grow into).

Everything about it is child say, i know its a piece of plastic but it does feel well put together. I know most squeaky things are annoying after a while but this is quite quiet in terms of annoyance so its a win from me and won’t end up in the cupboard of doom (like many toys that play the same tune over and over again when pressed – yuk!).
Decent price and would be nicely packaged for a gift.

This is a simple but satisfying toy. You can push the tentacles up and down. They click as you do so. There are also push and pull elements. The toy is made of robust plastic. The octopus is bright and colourful. A good little toy for babies aged 6-12 months.

It makes clicking noise when you turn its head or put its leg up/down.
Push the hat to make soft squeaky noise which is not that loud, I actually quite like that as sometimes squeaky toys are a bit annoying to listen after 10mins…!
It’s very light, small enough to carry around, good for little fingers. I would recommend it.

    Cute little baby toy

Lots of pieces to grab. Looks cartoonist and colourful. Not soft but baby can bite without fear of breaking it.
Some mobility of limbs to encourage investigation.

This octopus is a fab sensory toy that’s easy for little ones to use and my niece adores playing with it! It’s nice and lightweight so is comfortable and easy for her to hold and engage with. I like the design and the bright colours and that it has funny sounds. It’s good quality because it’s strong, sturdy and durable so will withstand a lot of play. It’s easy for me to clean and is made with safe materials. I think the value for money is very good and I do recommend it. It’s giftable and would make a great gift for a loved one. It gets a thumbs up from me!

This is a great little toy to keep little ones occupied whilst at the same time enabling them to develop their touch, holding and visual skills. It makes clicking sounds when the tentacles are moved and the hat has a squeaker in it when pressed, it makes a ‘biu biu’ sound according to the description, sounds about right. Rotating it makes a ratchet sound which is quite loud so will get some ones attention for sure. Colours are nice and the plastic has non of the nasty chemicals that are to be avoided it states. The description says it can be used it the bath as well, not tried that yet. the descriptions on the box are I guess literal translations and raise a smile or two, for example ‘touch charm’ and make a ‘clear sound’. The construction seems pretty robust so survivability should be pretty high.

My 8-month-old loves to play with this octopus bath toy. This helps me to keep him still during bath time. It has grippy legs that even tiny hands can hold. It is colourful and fun to play. It is also an affordable price for this kind of toy perfect gift idea for Christmas or other occasions.

Good quality. Each tentacle clicks and this relaxes the child. The hat squeaks and has a soft noise!

    Cute

My baby loves this toy, he loves being able to move the little octopus legs with his hands and because the ends are soft he likes to chew on them when he is teething.

The finger octopus is a beautiful little toy that will keep a child happily playing for some time.
First, I will touch on the quality; it is durable and has an excellent surface texture with various colours to captivate. It is a sensory toy that will encourage touch, movement, holding and exploration, as it has multiple moving parts. It makes noises too. It is a good size and can be held comfortably by a baby.
I do recommend this toy. It is an excellent toy; it hits the mark as an early plaything. It is simple and priced appropriately.

    Wonderful sensory toy
