I almost didn’t buy this because some reviews were negative, particularly complaining about the strap being flimsy.
Ignore the negative reviews. The strap is fine and this piece of kit works excellently. I suggest the only flimsy things are the tibialis anterior of the pussies who are complaining. There really is no pleasing some people, which is annoying as their negative reviews cause confusion where there should be none. 5 STARS!
I bought this item specifically to try out some of the exercises recommended by the Knees Over Toes Guy. However, I’ve noticed that the strap seems a bit flimsy, and it’s challenging to tighten due to the buckle being incorrectly installed upside down, which you can’t remove from the strap to change (one star deducted because of this). As a result, I’ve purchased a sturdier replacement strap to resolve this.
Despite this issue, the item still achieves its intended purpose and is a fantastic budget-friendly alternative to the more expensive IsoTib.
Sturdy and seems well made. Used it with 5kg and works a treat so far. Looks like it’ll last even though I was a little unsure about the strap. Giving it 4* as I tried to do it barefooted but the strap is too loose on my foot. Wearing trainers using it fits perfectly. Also I should have realised it required 2inch plates not 1inch so I had to purchase new 2inch plates as I only had 1inch.
