Both the front and rear light that come with this set are east to fit to the bike and each have a fitting with a release clip so should be secure when the bike is being ridden. The lights are bright – the front light can be dimmed or used in a strobe (not sure what use that really is) while the rear light can be continual or flash in a number of ways. The front light has LED indicators to show charge left so you shouldn’t set out not knowing how far you’d get before the light failed. The rear light gets dim before cutting out, so again you should know when a recharge is required.
The current listed price (19.95 at time of review) is great value.
Super bright. Solid, though not heavy, and well made. Easy to fit. and you can instantly take them off when your bike is parked up and instantly putthem back in the mount when needed. When fully charged the light last for ages. Used mine daily for four weeks before I felt the need to charge them up again. All in all a particularly good quality set of bike lights that will suit both urban and rural cyclists. Very reasonably priced at less than 20.00.
Really good quality light set & super bright!
Nice and compact design and super easy to fit to the bike with fittings/fixings provided what are great i may add.
i had initially got these to use on my commuter/hybrid bike now autumn is setting in, but they are that good i’ve also used them on my mountain bike for some shorter single track woodland rides.
Really great set of lights & have been put through there paces over the last month or so in all sorts of weather, joys of the uk!
If your looking for a budget set of lights thats great bang for your buck then look no further.
Long battery life, very easy to attach and charge. I do have a durability issue with the rear attachment light, as the plastic is pulling away slightly I think. It’s a bit expensive for something that has quite a few similar ones that are cheaper though. It is very bright and I usually take them out of the attachments to charge, but you can charge them while they’re on the bike, it will just be a very tight fit for the front light. It works well even when it’s rainy, so far its water proof and doesn’t seem like it has any water damage even through heavy rain.
Does a great job very bright highly recommend great price
Wow these lights are unbelievable value front one is like having a spot light makes riding to work in the dark easy as there are not many street lights fully charged them been using last few days no issues
This light is the best bike light i have ever purchased and ive had a lot as im keen cyclist. I would highly recommend as you will not be disappointed. Such good price also.
I got these lights because the evenings are drawing in and I am starting to use my bike more. It is only a 6-mile journey across town and back but most of that is via unlit country lanes. I was using a headtorch that had a red light on the rear of the band but overall the light coverage was not great.
It takes around 3 hours to fully charge these bike lights, which is the first thing I did. And then I went out on the bike through a small nature reserve we have nearby. There is no lighting there so I was completely relying on these bike lights.
On full power, the beam from the front-mounted light was more than strong enough to see some distance in front of me and I could see the steady red glow from the rear-mounted light. I switched to low power and whilst not as bright it was still easy to navigate along the paths. This was not a long test. Just under 3 miles in total but it did give me confidence that these lights would do the job on a dark winter evening.
Back home I wanted to see how long the front light would last on full and low power. I fully charged the light and then left it on full power and it lasted just over 2 hours before starting to dim. The same test was repeated on low power and the light lasted for 6 hours before fading. So not quite the claimed 8 hours but I think still more than enough and better than some other lights on the market. Charging is via USB and two leads are provided in the box.
The two light fittings are silicon rubber and plastic. They are easy to use and seem to be robust enough not to break anytime soon.
All in all, I am very pleased with these lights. I knocked a star off because the manufacturer claims a 15-hour lifespan for the batteries but this was not confirmed in my testing. Still good though.
The bike lights are charged by USB and fit on the bike with ease .
Stylish looking and the lights have different flash settings or continuously on.
A very good price and can really help you use your bike safely and getting seen.
Good price and waterproof.
Nice simple and sturdy fitting to the bike frame. Lights were very bright felt very safe on the roads.
Really impressed by this set of lights.
They are simple to fit to your bike with elasticated wrap around straps and the lights then slip on and off, though I found it easier to just keep the lights attached to the straps and unhook the straps when needing a recharge.
The front beam is super bright, like a powerful torch/headlight and does a great job lighting the way, it can also flash to make you visible in the day. The rear red light is nice and bright too, with a number of flashing/dancing modes.
The construction of the two lights is good, the build quality is to a high standard and they don’t feel cheap and nasty in the slightest.
Rechargeing is simple via usb and saves a lot of batteries in the long run.
The front torch is super bright, I’ll use that not just on my bike!
Nice it has different strobe settings too!
Excellent cycle lights.
I ordered these lights for my sons bike as it’s getting darker earlier in the evening so are definitely needed and I think they’re great.
Super easy to install, both have a band to go round the handlebar and seat stem which is adjustable and holds well.
Easy to remove once parked, just a small lever to pull and the lights are free to slide out or just remove the band with the light attached.
I fully charged them and the front lamp gives a good wide beam of light to see the ground in front, the rear is a smaller bright red led light with both having a 3 settings.
Really pleased overall seem good quality for the price.
Bike Lights Rechargeable Waterproof – Easy Mount IP54 Waterproof LED Front Light Rear Light Set – USB Rechargeable – Universal Fit Bicycle Light
Very well presented in the box . Nice foam padding to protect the lights in the box is 1 front white light .1 rear red light. 2 elasticated mounting brackets. 2 micro USB charger cables . And the manual. The lights charge via the micro USB cable and are very bright (150 Lumens) when charged and last a good length of time when charged . The manual gives a good description of how to use and set up the lights and also gives an estimated power usage times of the lights depending on which settings you have them on . A very smart and bright set of bicycle lights and very good value.
This is an excellent set of LED bike lights. They have high luminosity, a range of settings (flashing lights and solid light) and are waterproof and USB rechargeable.
The lights are compact and therefore easy to carry in a bag or pocket when the bike has been locked up. The fixing straps are strong and secure.
Bike lights can save lives. I have given them as Christmas gifts – and I wouldn’t hesitate to gift these.
Super set of bright bicycle lights, good dipped beam with 100 metre or so viewable range during darkness.
Front light body made from aluminium and has a solid feel .
Front light has three modes bright dim and flash (2 per sec).
Another feature of front light is a amber led each side of lamp body for extra visibility side on to other road users.( also acts as a visual indication of charge state, red=charging, green=full charge).
Back light has three flash modes and it’s made from abs plastic.
This also is rechargeable via usb.
Both light come with silicone strap for mounting in desired position.
Also includes two micro usb cables for charging. 4/5 hours for full charge, last around 4,5 hours on full power.
Overall very good set of lights.
Good quality bike lights
Very lightweight
Easy to use
LED lights
Simple to recharge just use the usb cable
Really impressed with the quality of the front light, it’s bright and has a reasonable lit up area (see video). Also has red lights either side as an extra safety feature 19.95 for the front alone is worth it. The rear light is lightweight and plastic in comparison but has bright led lights that are solid or you can change to a selection of speeds of flashing. The harness system is simple and easy to put on and remove for charging (micro USB to USB cable included). I would recommend (as an occasional cyclist, great for the evenings which are coming in quickly)
Nights are drawing in and the early mornings are staying darker for a little longer. Getting some lights on your/your partner’s /your offspring’s/your nan’s bike is crucial to ensure
This set is simple to attach (done in under a minute for us) and the front light is, at risk of sounding over dramatic, amazing. Check the video for proof. I know that’s the job of a light, but I’ve had rubbish things in the past that yes, allow me to be seen, but don’t really allow me to see that well. You definitely cannot say that about these lights.
This is on my son’s bike. He does an early morning paper round and this set is infinitely better, making him 100% more visible.
Usb charging so no problem with fiddly batteries, the front torch feels a much better product than the rear light so I guess that’s where the cost is. Ultimately, there is plenty of choice in this market, but I can only speak for this set. I think the quality of the front light alone is worth the cost.
…and you can’t put a price on safety can you? At just under twenty quid this is a good set of bike lights.
Lightweight, compact and high quality and the light output is very good indeed.
The rear light has various modes of flashing sequences, and of course static on, and the front light has bright, dim and flashing all at the press of a button.
The front light is ideal for dark nights as it’s very bright so you can see a good spread of the road in front of you, even on unlit paths.
I can’t verify just how ‘waterproof’ they are as I’ve not been out in the rain, but the Micro USB sockets do have a well fitting rubber cover on them.
The mounting method is that modern rubberised stretch band method, and it’s simple and effective a method to mount this kind of light, it takes a few seconds to do.
Overall a good set of lights, and being rechargeable you don’t need to keep buying batteries all the time, you even get two USB charging leads with these.
Came in a thin cardboard box. The Light is nice and bright and made out of metal so will last a few drops probably. This is a pretty good light for a bike and way better than nothing. I would say the light is worth 19.95 easily
This set contains all the bike lights you’ll ever need, all able to be recharged so no messing around with pesky batteries. All.lights are good quality, bright and have different settings. They all attach easily to my bike and come off again for recharging. Overall a really great Value set that ensures you’ll be safe and seen in the dark.
Bike lights are essential and should have been made compulsory with the new Highway Code changes made recently In my opinion.
Unlike the old days of poor capacity batteries and dull yellow filament bulbs the modern LED ones with high capacity batteries and bright white light are cheaper in the long term and much much better.
I like this one as it’s not just a torch that’s been adapted but a bike light that has been given some thought and has a light pattern that is more like a car headlight. It also has a red led on each side of the housing so that from a right angle you can see it (although these are not very bright so I do question the value here) you also get a rear red led bar with various patterns to grab attention. Both are well made and for me the front light gives off enough light to be useful on the road but not too much to dazzle everyone else
