I have had a few of these sorts of fishing rods but they have all broken quite quickly. This one however has stood the test. I have been camping and take this with me and it has performed well, catching two trout. The rod is a bit of fun for the kids but also can be used as a survival item in your backpack.
Well as I say it is super easy to store and set up, you can use it with a reel or like me with just a pre-made that I stored in a separate box. rig on the end. The rod is very small but it took the weight of the catch no problem at all. I really do think that this could be a lifesaver and should be included in anyones survival bag.

Light and strong, easy to extend. Comes with carry bag. Pleased with this as i dont fish often these days and dont have room for rods but a collapsible rod is ideal when i get time!
It’s been a bit too cold and I’ve hurt my back so haven’t actually been out with this yet, but I can say it’s built pretty well, although the packaging leaves a lot to be desired.
It’s very light, super easy to store and would even fit in the glovebox. Is this for professionals? Well, they can use it, but I’d say it’s more catered to the less enthusiast that doesn’t want to fill their shed up with a ton of rods but has something ready to go on occasion, and for that it’s absolutely perfect.
I think the price is incredibly cheap too, this would make a great gift or for a budding amateur who just wants to have something ready to go.

Firstly, Amazon should better insulate & pack this, ideally in a plastic tube to protect the parcel & avpid damage during transit.
Overall, this is quite for a beginner or super amateur (for overall value, materials & quality). Because for a starter who doesn’t know if they’ll stick to this hobby long term & don’t want to invest too much on fishing paraphernalia, then it’s adequate.
This is a carbon fibre fishing rod, therefore very light. Very portable & lightweight for travel etc. Comes with a case for carrying.
Flexibility for this price is not bad. But compared to more expensive ones I have (eg 100 & over), then it’s very basic.

This is a very impressive and well-thought out little rod. It’s well balanced, very lightweight yet sturdy, easy to use, well made and it looks good too. It has a moderately soft quiver tip for the top section but of course, being telescopic you don’t have to extend that section if you don’t want to. Comes with its own little rod bag and a clip-on protector for the rod rings. Not given it too much use yet but so far it is holding up well. 10/10
Really impressed with this rod. It is very compact for such a sized rod. Everything collapses down in such an efficient way which makes it so easy to store. Lightweight and seems very sturdy for its size. Looking forward to warmer days to get out and use it.
The fishing rod look amazing and professional. It also feels very sturdy and cold. That being said, pushing the telescopic segments back together sometimes get a bit difficult, but I would rather have that, than lose connections. Long story short, this is really nice compact fishing rod and I’m sure it would satisfy those, who just want reliable fishing rod for their hobby.
Very impressed with this rod, way better than I thought it was going to be for 20, telescopic rod 2.1m long, made very well nice detail on the handle very charming. Lightweight and easy to use. Locks in place as you pull each section up. Just need a reel to go with it!
We’ve been looking for activities that don’t cost much and fishing has always been a good option. I used to go fishing when i was a teenager and it has been a long time so i wanted something practical and wasn’t going to cost a fortune. This was a good choice.
The rod arrives in its own little material pouch and the whole thing sealed in a post bag. They also include a plastic cover to protect the eyelets/ hoops which is a really nice touch. It instantly feels like good quality. The handle and length of the rod are metal with a textured paint finish on grippy bits.
It’s very easy to assemble just extend the rod and twist each section to lock into place. The housing for the reel is a cup on each side with a screw ring for secure hold.
When assembled this is pretty solid. We did a few test casts and it did ok. It doesn’t have the flex and power of a fixed rod, but it’s not really intended to. It’s more intended for the portable side. But would still be fine for boat fishing or short cast pier fishing.
The great thing about this is when it is collapsed it can easily fit inside a back pack. So if you are cycling or taking the bus to go fishing this is very very easy to transport, which is great.

I’ve got this for my hubby so I can’t really comment on how good or bad it would be in use. It’s seems like a nice idea for it to be telescopic and with one firm flick of the wrist, the rod extends and slots into place. You then have to use a fair bit of pressure to reduce it down again.
This is a rally well made, easily transportable fishing rod that has a good through action and is good value and sturdy
My son has only just taken up fishing with his grandad and loves this, He cannot wait to get back out there and use his own equipment now and this is absolutely huge but so easy to store as it folds in neatly into the storage bag
Deels very sturdy in the hand, lightweight yet strong. Quick to extend, with a nice, smooth action. Would suit a beginner as perhaps an introduction to fishing. Well made and great value.
This rod telescopes down to a small size and comes with a bag for easy transport. The size makes it perfect for camping trips where it’ll take up hardly any room.
It seems very sturdy with the metal construction and I’m impressed by the quality.
This is ideal as you can pop it in a back pack with a reel and lures and take out on those occasions when you may need or want to fish but it’s not the main reason for going out. It’s also handy as can easily take out on a paddle board without lugging lots of equipment around. It extends very easily either manually pull out or whip it out. You just need to make sure you don’t whip it too hard as the telescopic sections lock into place and are then hard to push back in. I haven’t tested it fishing yet but seems to compare well to another small non telescopic rod I have. It’s comfortable to hold, light weight and have no concerns it’s not up for the job, and but will update the review after I’ve used a few times and manage to catch something.
This rod is for my granddaughter who wants to start going fishing with her dad. It’s very light and being telescopic is small to carry, perfect for a youngster.
It easily pulls out and locks in place, feels strong and appears well made. The handle is comfortable to hold and is non slip.
She loves the colourful ring guides and now can’t wait for her first fishing outing.

I’ve got this rod for my 10-year-old for his birthday as he wanted to start fishing.
The eyelets are also glass, which is a sign of a good rod as metal ones tend to snag your line as time goes on.
It is also the perfect length and the tip is light green which is good for seeing the bites.
Overall we are both very pleased with this rod, and would highly recommend it.
Overall fantastic quality for the price, I wouldn’t hesitate getting this for another fishing enthusiast.
