Seems to work extremely well for intercepting normal HD definition video signals. Can’t comment on 4K performance and frame rates for games interfaces but particular problem for my set up is the device needs an external 5v power supply to maintain the HDMI loop through. If not connected to a computer or other device supplying a 5v supply it doesn’t work. Anyway great value product.
This is the third time i have bought capture card. My friend recommended this so i tried one more time. It’s found this buy has better quality than the other ones. No glitching out, flashing screen happened.
Bought for gaming and works really well. No lag so far.
I cann’t believe it for its price, but this DigitNow device I’d brilliant for capturing video from a PC or console, straight to.mp4, moeg, avi, .mov and mkv. Buy justing OBS v29 free recording software, or above.
Record in 1080p at 25, 30 or more frames,with great clarity. The device is picked up easily within OBS, one you connect the USB lead that comes with the device and ifollow the instructions.
No additional 5v psu required, all powered from USB lead.
You can even stream directly to twice, YouTube or other streaming services within OBS, if you want too.
Note
once you setup the device in OBS, ensure that you go back in the device capture setting and set Audio capture USB digital audio (Asyn) and Filter with a 470ms audio delay for perfect audio to video syncing.
It all done from the main screen, by finding and then right clucking your mouse (RHMB) on the Video capture device entry itself, near the lower left of the OBS s/w screen Which isn’t clear in the instructions (pages 3&4)

Try it, for the price it’s simply genius
I got this because I stream on twitch- jrms99 and honestly my partner set it up and he’s done such an amazing card. It’s easy to use. Not comparable with any old laptop mind! We have now got a gaming laptop and use stream labs. Just personal use and it’s fantastic I wouldn’t go back to my basic streams now! For real I reccomend! I’m not tech girl but I do find it’s easy around it.
Used for capturing game play easy set up good pictures no lag
The instructions are clear and it works really well. Sturdy little thing – interesting like ceramic but it works electronically just as you would want!
