My sons wired xbox controller stopped working, so decided to get him wireless one. So easy to use and was very easy to set up. Controller is responsive and works grea
I tested this controller with my switch (native bluetooth) and my pc (using included usb bt dongle). In both cases it synced immediately and rumbles to let you know. Windows sees it as an Xbox controller so presumably it works well there too. They do not claim it works with a PS5 but I tried it anyway – no dice. 🙂
I’ve included a photo to show the size of my hand and the controller. I have long skinny fingers and took to this right away, found it quite comfortable. I like it much better than other switch controllers I’ve tried! My wife was less comfortable with it, whether because her fingers are short or she’s less of a gamer I am not certain. She’s used to the dual shocks.
It has turbo and macro functions. Didn’t see a way to adjust turbo speed.
I found the rumble to be effective but a little less than subtle. Didn’t see a way to adjust the controller but most games can.
Battery life seems good.
It has motion sensing! Nice feature in one of these and it has a quasi-calibration ability: reset the sensor when resting on a flat surface.
I have not noticed any delay or drift.
My biggest issue with this product is the manual. Obviously English was not the first language of the author, but it isn’t too bad if you take a little time. Not unusual with something like this.
I would have loved to see a way to store the dongle in the controller when not in use. Since it doesnt, I need to be careful not to misplace it.
I’ll definitely be using this instead of the wired ones I have for both pc and switch. Even if it worked with a PS5, though, I would prefer the dual shocks.
Oh that reminds me. If the battery is dead you can still use this in wired mode.
This controller works well. The instructions are much better than many of the other cheaper controllers. This controller is quite versatile in that it can be used with multiple types of devices besides just the Nintendo Switch, and it even includes a USB dongle for computers that don’t have Bluetooth.
I’m not a frequent and/or professional gamer, but I do play games from time to time. I play The Binding of Isaac, and I always use my laptop keyboard, but I thought I’d try playing with the controller to see if it made playing any easier or convenient. I found that I prefer playing using my keyboard. However, I always play Ori and The Blind Forest with a controller, but the one I currently have was heavily used, and a couple of important functions don’t work. This new controller works as it should with Ori. I am happy with this controller, it’s comfortable during long gaming sessions, and I’d recommend it for those who use a controller to play games regularly.
This controller has a great build, it does not feel cheap at all and really easy to set up with multiple consoles as it states in product description. I thought the extra buttons in the back was overkill but might be useful for future use or someone who might require functions. Overall all this is better than original for me
I haven’t have drift issues with my joycons but I have with two different 3rd party controllers. This one has no issues and works well so far.
