I really like this accessory for my Xbox Series X. First I will review what I like about it.
It does a great job pulling heat out of the Xbox and directing out of the console very quickly. Funny story. I left my headset sitting on top of the fan for a few days without thinking anything about it. I ended up melting the vinyl covering the ear cushions on the headphones. That’s how much heat the fan was pulling out of the Xbox. And I like that it comes on automatically when you turn in the Xbox.
I also like the variety of colors that can be displayed on the fan. It adds a nice pop of color to my Xbox. It’s not overwhelming or gaudy but just right for my tastes. It’s very easy to change with the push of a button.
And I like the storage hooks that hold your headphones and a controller. It adds a nice bit of versatility to the fan.
I do want to discuss some negatives about the fan. They are not big but important. First, the Dan does not really attach to the Xbox. It just sits on top held by gravity. This is important to know because if you choose to place your Xbox in its side, the fan will not work. Because it will just fall off the Xbox. If the fan attached to the Xbox with a latch or screws, then it would work with the Xbox either upright or on its side.
The second thing is that the power cord is super short. It prevents the fan from being placed on the Xbox in any other direction you want. Basically the buttons that change the color and fan speed can only face one direction. The cord is not long enough to turn the fan so the buttons face the back or front. This is very minor but something to keep in mind.
I took a star off because the limitations only allow the fan to be attached on one specific way and it prevents you from laying down the Xbox. This could be a big deal for some.
But it does work well, it cools the Xbox, it adds nice color, and gives you a place to keep a controller and a headset. I do recommend the fan and am still using it after a full month of having it. Just know upfront how it works and how you cannot use it.
This fan would make a good gift for many (but not all) XBOX Series X owners. The fan is powerful, the lights look fantastic (especially in a dimly lit room- see picture) and the hooks hold onto the controllers snugly and securely (again, see picture). However, there is one issue that creates an issue preventing a a 5-star rating.
The issue is the charging cord. It’s a USB-A to USB-C cord. The USB-C side plugs into the fan, and the USB-A should plug into a port on the rear of the XBOX. Quite simply, the cord is too short – not to short to connect to a USB port, but too short to position the fan/light power switches to the front of the console. (See picture. )The only way the cord reaches the closest USB-A port on the console is to position the fan such that the on/off switches for the lights and fan are on the right side of the console. I believe the power buttons should be in the front of the console. If the console were laid on its side, the controls would be facing down – not exactly convenient.
There are two ways to solve this issue. The first one could be easily solved by the vendor – just include a longer charging cord in the box! That would allow for the power buttons to be placed at the front of the console – problem solved! The charging cord would then be coming out of the right side of the fan. The second (and more complicated) solution is to re-design the fan such that the USB-C port is on the opposite side of the fan from the switch. That way the power buttons would be in front and the port and existing cord would be hidden in the back.
Moving past the cord issue, everything else it top-notch. The lights are bright (and look great), the fan keeps the console cool, and the hooks fit the controllers exactly.
I would recommend this fan for XBOX Series X users who choose to stand their consoles upright. This configuration allows for access to the power switches and for the use of the hooks. Laying the console on its side would not allow the controller and headset hooks to be used and would prevent access to the fan power buttons.
Nice little colourful fan with detachable hooks for the Xbox series x. Really gives a custom look to your Xbox and looks the part especially in a dark room with adjustable fan speed and adjustable lights.
Really easy to setup and connect to your Xbox through usb , all adjustments are done by the touch switches on the side of the fan.
Xbox doesn’t have to be switched on for it to work as it still gets power on standby through the usb port so can be used as a night light etc if that’s something you might want or need.
Maybe slightly expensive but my son is delighted with it.
Fits easilly on xbox, definitely cools it down better. Looks like part of the device with nice RGB lighting.

Ran at about 55dba in a quiet room. The TV was louder.
Construction is solid enough abs like plastic.

Initially I found this a little complicated to fit however I was very fortunate the hubby knows all about these and he whizzed through putting it together making it look quite simple! Other then that slight difficulty it looks really great! Works well, lights up pretty cool and seems as though its working well with limited noise!
This fits my xbox well and looks the part. Just basically clips onto the top of the xbox where the fan is. Then just connect into one of the xbox’s usb slots. Love the tough buttons to change the light colours and speed of the fan. However, I do wish that the power on / off would come from the powering on / off of the xbox, as when you turn your xbox off, the fan / lights are still going. Comes with two controller / headphone holders that just slot on to the top of the fan case.
My son said this was easy to sort, I wouldnt have a clue but he gave me a thumbs up
This is a really good. I love the fan, but I don’t have any need for the lights. In-fact I find them somewhat annoying. The fan is great, but can be a bit loud so I keep it on the lowest setting. The one thing I wish this could have is auto off. Unfortunately, this does not power on and off with the Xbox, so you have to do it manually.
This is a well-designed cooling fan and it works very well for long periods of gaming or if it’s a hot day.
The main fan sits on top of the Xbox series x with a perfect fit and the cable is a good length to reach to the USB port on the back of the console.
Once plugged in you have 3 buttons on the edge to turn the fan to speed 1, speed 2 or off, then a button to cycle through the different colour options and then the final one to turn the light on or off. These are all good if you can get easy access to your Xbox and don’t mind having to keep going to it to change the options, I would rather it turned on/off to your pre-set options when the Xbox turns on/off but it doesn’t, it’s all manually controlled.
This could be made much easier if it came with a little remote control so you can do it from your sofa.
The light up effect is cool and adds to a night of gaming while having the fan on really did a good job keeping the console cooler during the really hot days we have.
You also have 3 hangers that slot in to the top edge and these are 2 for controllers and one for headsets.
Overall, for 33.99 it’s not cheap, so I would say average value for money and the power options are poor, but it does the cooling job very well and is a good fitting design, I just wish you could change options with ease.

It feels chunky, well put together, and solid.
It feels, and looks pretty durable.
There are no visible flaws, no ragged edges, no mould marks, and no gaps.
No telltale rattles, or squeaks that would give away poor workmanship.
It’s all nicely done, and looks the business.

This is a rather cool addition to my new Xbox. I like how simple it is to install. Simply position it to your desired orientation and use the air holes on your Xbox to push it into place.
I like the light options. If you already have an LED theme where your Xbox is kept, you can set it to match, or just add your favourite colour to the console. It really makes it stand out when the room is dark.
The fan works really well. It has 3 speed settings to choose from. The first is pretty much silent, the last is a lot more audible, so it is probably better to reserve this for when playing games that are more demanding on your Xbox. I use the first setting for watching films and the middle setting for gaming. I am happy with this option.
The fan is powered via USB, which you can plug into one of the ports on the Xbox or power it via a USB plug or power bank if you so wish. The fan does not turn off when you turn the console off, which is a little annoying, but you can always just unplug the cable.
Overall, I am happy with how well this works and how good it looks.
I really like this for my Xbox mainly and aesthetically it looks the part.
It ties ties in nicely with my setup which consists of my pc ps5 and Xbox and now they all have RGB.
The fan does cool the system at the cost of a little noise but I game with a headset so I don’t hear it anyways.

This cooling fan is simple yet effective. It fits onto the xbox series X with little installation.
The fan is extremely quiet, unlike other fans you can adjust the speed.
The cute lights are a added bonus and again can adjust the brightness.

The fan is the same size as the Xbox series X and fits perfectly on top. It fan is easy to install and works straight away.
There are also small plastic pieces Included that can be placed on top, these can hold a headset and two controllers. They fit in easily and can be removed just as easily.
This is very well styled and looks totally at home on top of the series x, as well as looking good and also has RGB lighting to set it off, even more, it actually cools really well, it has 3 speeds and it does make an audible difference on setting 3, setting two is just right for me to sound wise when playing a game with action sound and setting one is pretty much silent and good for watching Netflix or other light work, all in all, a really good little cooling fan.
works great! this xbox cooling fan works incredibly. easy to install on the top of your series x. its a life saver. the fan attachment itself has 3 speed settings controlled by light touch buttons and colours are bright and vibrant, rgb modes decided via button settings. very practical and aesthetically pleasing, I’ve had issues with my xbox shutting off midgame (red dead redemption) due to xbox overheating, and this has solved the issue completely! the included headset and controller stands are incredibly helpful too keeping everything contained in one space!

Put this on our overused xbox ! Seems to be doing trick ,so I’m very happy as was getting concerned about fire hazard. Safely to say this is done the trick
Cooling fan works great. Easy to install. It’s plug and play. Fan has 3 speeds and keeps my Xbox Series X cool. Colors are bright and vibrant. The dust covers are easy to install and keeps all dust out of ports. If you looking for a way to add a bit of flair and keep your system cool this is a good purchase.
This is a great little compact fan that is very efficient! The led colours add a nice touch and holder clips are more of a bonus to keep everything slimline.
