Product was as advertised. I didn’t find it to be something I felt made a large enough difference that I’d use it consistently, but I’m into beginner and general fitness. If you are looking to build up some muscle in some targeted spots and feel you don’t get the challenge from consistent bridges, then this would probably work well (much like ankle weights for leg lifts that become to easy but are a part of an established routine for strengthening targets to improve function). Smaller weights did not hold as well as larger weights, but that’s a minor note.

It’s easy to use – it’s pretty simple overall. Just a strap for some weights. I did find that to keep the weights level was a bit of extra work and I might have ended up trying to balance it all more often than not.

I think this is a nice-to-have, but not a must-have for workout routines.

This belt is perfect for home workouts. It securely supports my dumbells while I use it.

    4 stars out of 5

This exercise belt has come in handy for a variety of exercises since I started using this. It has been a surprisingly valuable addition to my home gym set-up! While I primarily use this for adding weight when hip thrusting, I have also been using this for hip dips and while planking.

This is surprisingly versatile as you can use all kinds of weights with it and is comfortable thanks to the neoprene padding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this.

I found it easy enough to use, but the only use I can get out of them is a bridge and using it while doing psoas stretching.

The dumbbells stayed in place and the belt held them well. The problem I had is keeping the belt where I want it. I feel like it is more work to hold the belt than hold a dumbbell because it slips down towards my stomach and isn’t working the areas I need it to work on.

Despite that. I find it easier and less awkward to get two dumbbells on and hold the band than hold the dumbbells. So while it is frustrating, it still helps and takes up less space than my barbell, which I used to use for thrusts. I have only tried bridges so far with this. I would think that since there is an incline that maybe it would stay in place better, but time will tell. I will update once I move on to them.

I was a little afraid when I got this that it would only accommodate dumb bell style weights

But I have been easily and securely been able to add many different weights from dumb bells to full plates

They feel secure and safe and I really am finding it very helpful for increasing my core strength

    Give it a try..

    Pros:
+ This weight belt is perfect for weighted hip thrusts
+ Easy to secure different size, weight and material dumbbells into the velcro straps
+ The velcro straps are very secure afterwards
    + It’s well-made and high-quality
+ Comfortable to use, doesn’t rub

    Cons:
    – Dumbbells made of materials like metal sometimes slip to one side of the belt while in use as it doesn’t always balance in the middle of the velcro.

Overall, this weight belt with velcro straps is a great tool for weighted hip thrusts. If you’re looking to add some extra weight to your hip thrusts, this weight belt is definitely worth considering.

I’ve always found glute bridges and thrusts to be challenging at home because I don’t have a barbell. So I’ve always tried to hold dumbbells across my lap, which is a bit awkward.

This weight belt is perfect! Easy to attach dumbbells of various sizes and put it on.

Works perfectly. Exactly how it was designed to! Excellent product!

    Works Great!

This is a useful home gym accessory to have on hand to do weighted hip thrusts and glute bridges if you don’t have a barbell available at home. It has some limitations which make me think it’s not a perfect replacement for using one single loaded dumbbell or one barbell across your hips.

While it works well enough for performing glute bridges (shoulders on the floor, not raised on a bench, which is called a hip thrust), I find I need to keep my hands on the weight belt or weights themselves to keep the weight centered over my hips and prevent the belt from slipping downwards.
I used the belt with 2 x 20lbs dumbbells (40lbs total) and I definitely have to keep hold of the belt otherwise the weights swing back too much. You want to keep the heavy load centered over your hips, not around your waist!

Barbell hip thrusts and glute bridges can be painful so this soft weight belt is an improvement if you really can’t bear the hard weight of the bar across your hips and pelvic bones. This would eliminate hip bone bruising, which I’m familiar with.

Useful for home gym to perform weighted hip thrusts and glute bridges. Not painful like ba

Works with dumbbells, kettlebells or plates, made of high strength nylon strap and 6mm neoprene padding. Fits 60cm to 150cm waistline with the included adjustable belt. The buckle strap is strong and will hold and not get loose at all while exercising.
Excellent tool to have in your gym bag/home gym.

Very useful for weighted hip thrusts so I don’t have to try and balance a weight. The belt is made from good quality material and is very durable. The $20 price point isn’t bad, though it could be a little lower like $15-18 which is why it is 4/5 stars for me
    Overall would recommend

Really sturdy belt. Great for home gym where bars aren’t space affective. Used with 30lb on each side and worked great. Sits comfortably
