Does what it says on the tin, although can be a little noisy unless your a heavy sleeper. But ok other wise.
For a room it works. For this price can not ask more. My windows get soaked a lot, with this dehumidifier it improved a lot, and can feel the difference inside my house.
Works well in bedroom though quite noisy,but can sleep. Has greatly reduced condensation on inside of windows due to bad choice of window company. Need to empty it up to twice a week and leave it on constantly for best results.
I get a 2-3 cm of water in the tank every week or two – so it definitely works to remove moisture from the air. Normal mode has a bearable hum. Sleep mode is very quiet – not sure if it is collecting moisture as well though.
Don’t like to capacitive touch buttons and the need to press the buttons to start after powered on. It means I cannot put it on a timer or use a switchbot to remote control.
Really happy it makes a great job of absorbing moisture for such a small unit and surprised now much water it collected and also turns of when full.
Bought this dehumidifier for our spare room which in winter gets condensation on the windows and a musty smell, even with the heating on. So far it seems to work, the room is drier and no more damp smells.
The best thing about the design is that the water tank pulls out from the front. Most others slot in to the back, meaning you have to either pick them up or at least spin them round, to remove it. It means your less likely to drop the water tank or tip it over, spilling it on the floor.
The only failing is the inclusion of LED lights, this is not a Xmas decoration or a night light. Why do manufacturers insist on fitting flashing multi-coloured lights on every single item they make. The lights can be switched off, but just don’t bother with them and reduce the price by a few quid. Nobody is crying out for them and they won’t be missed.
I got this for my daughters room as she was getting lots of condensation on the ceiling this is working great in her room and she doesn’t have any more droplets of water on her ceiling anyway
I have a quite bigger de-humidifier, I only wanted to install 2 of these as extra since the humidity in my house is quite high. While it does work for sure, it doesn’t even come remotely close to the other one. So yeah. Okay product for the price.
