Great all round dock but to be able to use a flash drive in the usb ports you need to use a charger with a higher power than the steam deck charger else they won’t work
Very impressed with the dock. Can use official charger and will charge the deck as well as run my hyper x clouds through usb. Sometimes doesn’t connect properly but if you plug the USB C into the deck before inserting the power cable into the Dock it works fine
Has everything the average Steam Deck user would want in a dock minus an ethernet port. Ideal if you’re using it in a living room or the same room as your router. No issues with the dock itself, but do keep in the mind that the Deck’s software is still finicky at times with docked support and Valve are constantly improving it.
Great Dock for the deck. Consistently performs well and great amount of spots for different connections. Would like to see a bit of rubber to provide friction in the deck stand but overall very happy with this!
This is for my son’s Steam deck but he seems happy with it on all points, my interaction is based around a technical query with their customer services who proved to respond very quickly and effectively.
Tout est dans mon titre Produit fonctionnel et prix intressa
perfectly fine in docked mode never loses power when charging no issues connected my external capture device perfectly so far so good several months later….
Initially I assumed this deck was larger than it actually was, wider in fact. I was wrong and boy, am I glad that I was.
The dock fits in anywhere I have a little room, and it’s amazing. I can connect it to a TV or monitor if I wanted to, but I can also use it a kick stand with built-in USB ports for quick, easy gaming.
I had an issue at the beginning, and that was the HDMI audio source not being recognised by my Deck. I managed to fix that issue by disabling and re-enabling the audio driver in Device Manager (I use windows) and now it work brilliantly.
It may support 4K but that’s not for the Deck, which will not run 4K well at all.
Overall, extremely impressed. Great dock!
A snip at the price when compared to the Steam version. Works great and helps convert the Deck into a fully fledged useable PC through the addition of a keyboard, mouse and monitor.
good dock, just wish I had noticed it does not have an RJ45 ethernet connection.
Other than wishing it had more usb C ports, works great!
Mir wre noch nichts schlechtes aufgefallen, alles funktioniert bestens. Und es kostet nicht mal ein Drittel der originalen Station – da kann ich nur 5 Sterne geben.
This dock is fine for the most part. As a whole it does what it says and doesn’t take up a lot of space. However I constantly get a slow charge warning which kicks me out of my game momentarily while the HDMI stops working. I have to wait until I can get everything back on the TV and hope it doesn’t happen again. Sometimes it’ll happen four to six times in an hour and other times not at all. I am using the power cord that came with the steam deck plugged into the wall. I have also tried it with a USB cord, a surge protector, a power block, and various power cords with USB blocks and the air seems to happen regardless.
It works great, not sure why I am complaining about the material since I never handle it, but it does seem a little cheaply made. It just feels really light and cheap. Otherwise, it’s fantastic for playing Steam Deck on my TV.
I know this dock is meant to be used to connect with a tv but I just wanted something I could put my Steam Deck on my bedside table and allow it to charge. It works great as intended and definitely plan to purchase another one to have to dock it to play games on my tv.
I know the valve version comes with another charger and has better hdmi, and ethernet.. but I do not know, none of that makes a difference for me and probably most people, I have no issues with 1080p / 1440p really, and not sure I will ever go 4k.
Also if I was going to get another charger it would be something with multiple ports and higher W that allows me to use my own cables like an anker 543 I guess ? That way I would still be saving 20 and not have the issues that people here are suffering from when using usb devices that take power away from the deck, lol… I am sorry to say that the official deck will not solve that, and it is not a fault with this dock in any single way.
I haven’t had any issues with it at all.
Not much to write here other than that it “feels” almost as cheap as it costs, but
it works as intended.
I bought a second charger (65W) so I don’t have to constantly plug and unplug the original one when I’m taking the Steam Deck out, also to avoid possible charging issues. Don’t mind the lack of Ethernet port as I don’t have Gigabit nor a wire close by to begin with, 5G is good enough for me. Folks complaining about 4K being 30hz or something on this dock, wouldn’t know about that, I’m just running it at 720p, which really is the optimal resolution to get the best performance out of the Steam Deck, and looks just fine on my 1080P TV. Only negative thing I would say is that the Deck fits a bit too loosely on it, good thing because you can take it in and out effortlessly, but bad because it feels like it would easily tip over if you pushed it, but you should be fine as long as you don’t have little kids or pets around. Also, when putting it into position there’s no guides or anything, so take care not to cover the vents on the back of the Deck, there’s enough clearance on the dock for them, but it’s possible to slightly cover one of them and not notice if you’re a bit off center.
This little steam deck dock is amazing, easily dock and setup for pc gaming, hookup to a tv a keyboard and mouse with ease and powered to, to enjoy your deck at its best, warcraft here we come
It so much easier when you can connect a keyboard and mouse to your steam deck and at the same time keep ot powered. My previous doxk didn’t.
Great price too.
Overall I think its a good product holds my Steam Deck well and is light weight so doesn’t inconvenience me when I use it in public. I Do think it could have a few more ports however that being said I haven’t had a reason to use all the ports yet.
Arrived today, Steam deck fits nicely and connects without any issues. Everything works as it should and at the price you cant really complain.
Works as a docking station nicely. I did get some lag on my monitor but not sure where that problem lies. 4 stars as I haven’t had much time to test properly. I do think it’s overpriced for what it does
I’m sill using this dock despite the official one has come out. No special reason besides I can’t afford the official one. There’s some issues with the charger port. Sometimes when I plug it into the Steam Deck, it’ll tell me it’s slow charging. Unplugging and replugging it several times on both ends seem to fix the issue. Slightly annoying but it works as intended and is a good budget dock for when you can’t afford the official one..
Due to the cheap price it does not come with a power supply but pairs with the original steam charger perfectly. The dock blocks none of the air intake on the back. If you have a rugged case applied, the deck still fits nicely and comfortably.
I think it’s a must-buy accessory for the deck.
This is one of the better alternatives to the official dock and a no-brainer for this price.
This stand works great. It doesn’t scratch the screen or cause any problems with that. The USB-C cable easily attached to the steam deck. The deck does not come with a charger, so you will want to purchase a separate charging block and cable. Make sure that the charger is 45W and 65W. I choose the later so that I have no issues with running this and streaming to my monitor.
Honestly you won’t find a better deal for the price, you get 3 USB 3.0 ports on the back you can charge your deck via the dock and play and you get video out. (Keep in mind the video out is capped at 4k @ 30Hz however this isn’t a deal breaker for me as I can still use 1440p @ 60Hz which is more than enough).
The construction of the unit may be plastic but it’s not cheap feeling plastic, it’s got quite a robust and rigid feeling construction. TL;DR If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to the official Steam Deck Dock and you do *NOT* need 4K @ 60Hz or two video outputs this is absolutely the dock to buy and I highly recommend it!
Got this on sale for about 30 dollars, and I don’t think you can beat the price. It connects quickly, charges the deck fine, and all the USB ports work as expected. The only issue I have had is more with my setup then the dock. I have a 4 way HDMI splitter and for some reason the dock will not output a 4k signal through the switcher even though the switcher is 4k 60 and works with everything else. I almost returned the dock because I was getting black screen, but once I forced a 1080 resolution everything worked fine. Steam OS has had some major updates in the last few weeks that has made the docking experience ALMOST console like.
My nephew and I both have one of these docks and they work beautifully. These were like $50 cheaper than the Steam Dock but they do lack an Ethernet slot but if you had to have one of those you can still pick up a great quality dock from Amazon that has an Ethernet port for $20 less than a Steam Dock. Don’t get me wrong, I am a huge fan of the Steam Deck and it has quite literally changed everything about how I play games to the point that I could not imagine my life without a Steam Deck but I also feel that Valve dropped the ball on the dock and now that there are so many great docks on the market, it just does not make sense to show up late and charge more.
Very good dock, works very nice and has an easy setup. Can’t complain when it works.
That being said, be very careful with what you plug into the dock to power it up. It doesn’t mention it on the store page, but on the bottom of the product it says max 60W. I’ve found that a 50W charger was too much, so only use the original steam charger cable with this or it will stop working entirely.
Really good product. Works perfectly with the steam deck! I use this almost daily and I’ve never had an issue with it. It East enough to take travelling with you just simply place it in you backpack and you’re away!
I really like the USB slots and how I am able to also use my mobile phone for this
I have not used this dock to its fullest yet but so far it works as expected, keyboard and mouse are working fine and my HDMI monitor has connected through it without issue.
My biggest gripe so far is that despite using the official Steam Deck power supply I am getting constant slow charger warnings every few seconds making it unusable whilst charging.
The dock itself says that it can do 15V – 3A with 65W but it doesn’t seem stable. I will try getting a new 65w PD charger and see if it makes any difference but it should work with the stock Steamdeck charger.

Update since purchasing a new 45w PD charger I am no longer having the power issues, I would highly recommend using a 45 or 64w PD charger and not the official steamdeck charger when using this dock.
This isn’t really a loss for me as I will be using this charger in other places but I can see other people not wanting to purchase a charger as well as the dock.
I wanted a basic dock for use with a 1080p display and this works perfectly. Some more demanding games will require the use of a stronger power supply than the one that comes with the Steam Deck and will display an error message about slow charging. Using a 65W USB-C PD charger fixed this issue for me.
The build quality is nice, and if you want a decent but basic dock then you can’t go wrong with this.
If you need HDMI 2.0 and want built-in Ethernet then I believe the manufacturer has a new model coming out soon. Might be better to wait for that one.
So I was a tad skeptical since reviews were pretty mixed but I can say this is a great dock. It fits my SD w/ a case on and it charges without any problems. I should note you do need a 44W or greater charger just like you would if you charged your SD outside of your dock. I saw one review say that the dock wouldn’t charge and I can almost guarantee that person wasn’t using a high enough wattage charger. I guess this is a negative but it comes down to expectations. The dock only comes with an HDMI 1.4 and not HDMI 2.0 or 2.1 output. This means the dock can only output 4K 30 FPS and no HDR. I personally have no issues with this since, besides desktop mode, no game on the SD is doing 4K and most games will not be able to even do 1080P and HDR at this resolution, and texture quality is stupid. So yeah an HDMI 2.0 port would have been preferred but the SD’s hardware can’t push games to utilize this anyways. Thre USB ports is good, but maybe a version with a SD card slot and ethernet port in the future.
The Ivoler Steam Deck Dock is an early alternative prior to the delayed release of the official dock.
Now, I will preface this review by saying the Steam Deck itself is not optimised for docking yet, and thus there are flaws and irritating aspects that have nothing to do with this product. If you try to project to a 4K screen right now, you will suffer huge lag in the default mode. The solution is to run Steam Big Picture Mode in the Desktop Mode and then swap controller priority so that the Deck’s controls are not first priority.
Onto the product itself – it is small, sleek, and holds the Deck firmly – no risk of it falling. Its HDMI capabilities are likely to be weaker than the official offering’s, but you have the advantage of actually being able to own one of these! The other problem is the lack of an inherent Ethernet port, though you can simply plug in an external USB-Ethernet adapter.
I am deducting a point for these two aspects, but otherwise it works and looks great! If you are dying to use it docked, this is a handy piece of hardware – just bear in mind that the docked functions of the Deck aren’t the best right now.
I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product. The material it was made of feels very nice and solid. The Steam Deck fits inside perfectly even with the protective TPU case. Since I’m still using the old Xbox 360 controllers, I’ve tried to connect the PC receiver and it worked right of the bat. Did some testing with my 4K TV and everything looks good, the default gaming interface scales automatically, you can play games pretty much like on a console and when switched to the desktop mode it treats tv like a second monitor, so watching your favourite shows when you don’t have the set-top box have never been easier. For my use case it’s perfect, definitely can recommend.
Had a slight issue, but customer service from the seller was exceptional and it was resolved very quickly!
Very happy with the Dock, works perfectly with an Anker power supply. Hdmi out is brilliant for using it in desktop mode. Fits very well and it’s really sturdy, steamdeck feels safe in there!
Overall a great purchase for any steamdeck owner!
Fairly good dock, but note it’s only hdmi 1.4, and only has usb connectors. Would love to see a more Pro version with Hdmi 2, and maybe some extra ports including more USB-C ones, an Ethernet port, and potentially an SD-card reader as well
This does exactly what you need it to do. You can play and charge at the same time, connect to an external display and connect USB devices.
I’d prefer to have the Valve logo on the front, obviously, but the Ivoler logo isn’t too prominent.
Best dock you can get in the UK until the official one comes out.
This steam deck Dock is a great little Dock and is very portable and easily thrown into a pocket or bag for easy transportation.
If you want a Nintendo switch like experience, playing your favourite pc games on a TV then this is the one for you, it’s basically plug and play and very easy to get things set up.
In the box is just the Dock and a manual, so all wires and accessories you have to provide yourself which the USB C charger that came with the steam deck is highly recommended for use with this dockso you get the proper watt charging.
You can connect external hdd/ssd’s using one of the 3 high speed usb’s on the back of the Dock and even connect dongles or wires for wired cotrollers, you can also easily pair Bluetooth controllers to the system as well.
If you have a 4k TV then the output will be 4k/30hz and if you have a 1080p TV it will be 1080p/60hz (and up to 120hz).
The one problem I had (and this was my fault) was I like to save battery on the steam deck, as you Know some games are very demanding and will eat away at your battery very quickly so I lowered the Watts to 10 and the refresh rate to 40hz and this helps add a hour or to to gaming and sometimes longer, so when connected to the Dock if you have similar settings applied you will see the library menu and settings but the menu will be stuttery and laggy but if you go back to 60hz and 15 Watts everything will run great and games will launch normally (BTW if you have similar settings to mine games won’t show when launched).
On the back of the Dock there is one HDMI, one USB c and 3 high speed USB ports for connecting different accessories and one built in usbc for connecting and charging the steam deck it also has small rubber feet to prevent slipping which is handy.
I have been using this Dock for a few days now and I can say yes there is pros and cons like everything (I will list below) but I think the design is sleek and the steam deck looks great when docked.
Pros.
-Small, sleek design
-Very portable
-Has multiple USB ports for added accessories
-Charges the steam deck while outputting
Cons
-Doesn’t display any games when settings have been altered
-Doesn’t come with hdmi
So over all this Dock is great of you want to have that Nintendo switch like experience of playing your games on a bigger screen.
