    The steam deck is a quality piece of hardware and adding a Dock to it makes even better… allows me to charge it without having to root around for the cable and fumble around the connections… drop it on and off we go

    This dock works really well and is very similar to the official one albeit half the price. This dock gives you the opportunity to use your steam deck with an external monitor or tv using hdmi, plug in USB peripherals like a mouse and keyboard, USB controller, USB hard drive etc etc. You can also add a wired Internet connection if your WiFi can be abit dodgy and also charge your steam deck while its docked using the 100w max input type-c input port.
    I’ve used this daily for just over a month now and it’s been perfect, really pleased with this and i would recommend it to any steam deck user, especially with windows installed.

    Great addition for steam deck.

    By now most people know that they can cast information On their phones Directly to the TV or projector, and most time without cable.

    In my case I have a problem with the my TV, Every time I share my screen, it stays for some time and than it drops completely, and I have to do everything again.

    The time it takes to watch one movie it can drop 5 or more times, believe me, that can be frustrating.

    This device doesn’t just solve this problem as it also brings some extras that I love.
    With it you can use mouse, keyboard, and any other devices that you would normally use on PC.

    It doesn’t just share your screen but it also split your screen in 2 one that looks like PC.

    Also it doesn’t require any setup just plug and enjoy.
    Even my grandmother can use it

    Don’t forget the images quality, super clean as well

    This is a superb value alternative to the official steam deck dock. At less than half the price it does a fantastic job. The deck looks great sat in the cradle and is rock solid whilst in place. The construction feels great and the variety of ports available is great. Display outputs to your chosen screen perfectly with no noticeable degradation in video quality. All usb ports are responsive and fast.

    Well worth the money.

    I have had a few steam deck hubs over the past few months. The quality on this is average, it is an all-plastic build with no metal. If you drop this, I am sure it would crack. I personally prefer an all-metal design.

    The device functions as it should and all the USB and network 10000 Mbps LAN work without issue. The USB Type C cable connector is average quality and not hard to manoeuvre.

    It has power PD port on the back as well so it will charge while you play or cradle it.

    The ports work on the USB with no issue and the HDIM is seamless. Overall, it is a solid hub that works as it should. I just wish it was metal design.

    Works As Designed

    Having tried this dock and and jsaux one I found this to be the best as I have a case with a stand on and it still fits in the stand no problem.
    All features work in dock mode including connecting mouse and keyboard and an external drive.

    The Best third party steam deck dock

    This docking station has everything you need to create perfect working or gaming station for your steam deck. Honestly between this GOKOCO and original steam deck there is not much difference but definitely fraction of the price.

    Docking station is very stable with console on it. Usb C cable reaches console with no problem and angle is right. On back you have Ethernet port for cable connection, 3x usb-A 3.0 ports for peripherals such an mouse, keyboard, camera etc, 1x usb C for charging simultaneously console because port on top is occupied by dock and of course 1 hdmi out port to connect external monitor. Everything is super smooth and dock is very aesthetically made. When i plugged hard drive transfer speed was very satisfying. You can enjoying playing from couch with extra controller on steam deck like on normal console. Very pleased.

    All you need for steam deck

    So the description states this is a:-
    Docking station for steam deck, GOKOCO steam deck dock with gigabit ethernet. HDMI 2.0 4K@60Hz,3xUSB-A 3.0, Type-C PD charging. 6-in-1 hub compatible with valve steam deck.

    Ok to be honest I don’t understand all the technical side of this but what I do know is that I now I have very happy gamers. Because now they can no longer complain about lagging and slow Internet speed.

    This device to me means no more wires hanging around. They all plug into this docking station and we go from there.

    It says because it’s being plugged into the ethernet directly and not going thought WiFi it’s better:-
    * Ethernet = 10000 mbps
    * WiFi = 30 mbps

    The price at the time of this review is 31.99. I have now purchased one for a christmas gift, because I know there going to be happy.

    So far so good
    But I will update this review if needed

    *** Detail’s:-
    * Brand:- GOKOCO
    * Hardware interface:- Ethernet, HDMI, USB 3.0
    * Integrates:- RJ45 1000mbps Gigabit Ethernet port,
    * Max 100w Type-C charging port

    I really like this, firstly it does a great job as a dock for the Steam Deck, but it also works as a pass through stand/charger for Switch too, which is actually really useful if you own both systems. Obviously you do have to put the Switch on upside down, but that’s more a problem with the switch than this dock and besides, it’s not this things primary use so it would be a bit much to be upset by that. I then got a bit bold and tried it with my iPad Pro, again, mostly out of curiosity and it works great with that too ,even outputting the picture to my monitor via the HDMI out. Again, not something I need or use, but to have the option is an amazing bonus.

    So anyway, after testing my Switch and iPad out of curiosity I put my Deck on it and actually used it for what it’s meant to be used for. It works great, plug and play, no messing about. I had the HDMI outputting to my TV and also I tested a little portable monitor and both were fine. Having three USB ports is really helpful, my keyboard uses two USB plugs on its own, so it’s great to have the third for a mouse, or as a spare for sticks and whatnot if you’re using a normal keyboard/mouse. Despite the relatively low stand on the back to hold your device upright, it actually holds it pretty solid and I never thought it might wobble about or fallout of the dock, so that’s good. Overall really impressed with this. I think a dock of some kind is pretty much an essential accessory for the Deck and this is decent value, especially if you consider the other uses it has on the side.

    Essential accessory for the Deck, but great for other devices too

    The GOKOCO Steam Deck Dock does everything the official dock can do but at half the price. I was actually quite surprised at how good this dock is. It’s really easy to set up, plug your Steam Deck power supply in to the USB C port, plug an HDMI cable in to the back and to the TV and then pop your Steam Deck on the dock, plug in the cable and it’s all set up.

    Obviously you can then add an Ethernet cable for faster internet, though if you’ve got a good wireless signal and speed you don’t need to, you can add a keyboard and mouse and a hard drive to the back USB ports and get a full PC setup.

    The dock means the Steam Deck becomes a full PC, albeit with Linux instead of Windows, but even using it in the Steam Store means it’s more like a Switch, allowing you to play games on a big screen and in better quality if the Deck can cope with increasing detail and resolution. I played Spider-man using the Dock and it looks great on the big screen. My hard drive with steam content was easily picked up by the full Steam mode to allow for new games that won’t fit on your deck.

    One benefit over the Official Steam Dock Deck is that the slot that the Deck fits in is a lot wider, meaning that I can pop my Deck in even with a case around it, which I like as I do like to keep the protective case with kickstand on. The Official Dock is much smaller and won’t fit with the case on.

    For the price this is a great product for anyone that owns a Steam Deck and wants a cheap but good alternative to the Official Dock.

    A great cheaper alternative to the official Steam Dock

    Amazing value, great quality.
    Honestly you won’t find a better deal for the price, you get 3 USB 3.0 ports on the back you can charge your deck via the dock and play and you get video out.
    The construction of the unit may be plastic but it’s not cheap feeling plastic, it’s got quite a robust and rigid feeling construction.
    Excellent buy

    Amazing value, great quality.

    I make video presentation which I have to display on large tv`s and in order to do so I use a tablet where I store everything and to be able to stream directly without any lag I got this station which is practical and at the same time very affordable considering what it has to offer in terms of options.

    When i use it with I connect it with my tablet via ubs c port and stream on the tv using a hdmi high speed cable. Now, for the fact that this device is on for around 12 h per day I am satisfied with how it performs, I didnt experience any kind of issues and it keep a normal temperature even though it stays on for long hours.

    In terms of build in quality, this is pretty normal, it is made from solid plastic, the ports are in the right position and at the front it has good grip to hold tablet, phone, console and so on. At the bottom is has anti-slip legs and this allows it to stay properly even on a glass surface.

    Overall, it does the job it was bought for.

    ►Good value streaming station for 4k 60hz

    We’ve been very happy with this. It’s designed to be used with your Steam Desk as a stand which is fantastic and the kids love it. No issues with picture etc. What’s nice about it is the 6 other ports can be used for a variety of other tasks so it’s no just limited to a Steam Dock. It’s very competitively priced against similar Steam products and seems well built. No complaints at all!

    This docking station does exactly what it is supposed to. No thrills but effective docking station for your Steam Deck. To be honest all you really want is that all the connection points works well. It does so I am more than happy.

    Good number of ports.

    So while waiting for the official docks to release, I’ve used several USB-C docks that were meant for laptops, just fine with the deck. This is no exception – It works and does a decent job of it.

    As this is designed for the deck, being able to prop your deck up is handy – As all the other USB-C docks I used, were never designed for the deck – It’s pretty much plug & play.

    Yes you lose displayport connectivity compared to the official dock; however, there are tons of HDMI to displayport adapters, if you really want displayport. But for couch gaming, where you have the dock sitting near your telly and a HDMI cable connected, it’s all most people want.

    Dock has ample USB ports for keyboard, mouse and gamepad. USB-C connection and RJ-45 for gigabit connectivity.

    A bonus is that as this is technically just another USB-C dock, it will support phones, tablets and other handhelds with USB-C connectivity. So if you don’t own a Deck, it will still work just fine with those.

    I got this for my son who has a steam deck and he says it works great. He said that the build quality is decent and that it has all that he needs to use his steam deck in conjunction with his TV and speakers.

    Costing 39.99 (at the time of review) it is almost 40 cheaper than the official steam deck dock sold by Valve.

    My son doesn’t have an official dock but since this does what he needs it to do without issue, I see no reason to not recommend this.

    This dock is almost identical to the OEM docking station but only half the price. Given that all you lose is a DisplayPort connection, I think it’s worth it.
    In fairness, you can probably use any USB-C dock with the Steam Deck, but this has the benefit of being a cradle to hold the console while you game on the big screen.
    There’s not much you need to do, just plug in and go.

    This feels very basic in construction but so far works great, plenty of USB connectivity and Ethernet which is most important to me works great with my 1 gig fiber broadband to give me lag-free gaming on the big tv, simple to use it simply plugs into the strem deck and you rest the stream deck in the stand and then use the ports on the dock itself, simple and works well, very happy.

    Basic but works great, very handy dock to have

    Got this to try with my tablet and to my surprise it worked well. Once connected up it was great fun.

    I’m not much of a tech geek but using this it was so easy and fun to set up.

    For 43.99 I’m not sure if it’s a bargain or not as it’s the first time I’ve used anything like this.

    Gets 5-5. I’d recommend this to anyone needing 1.

    This dock is an ideal way to present to a screen for Steam Deck, as well as Switches and tablets.

    It supports 4K@60Hz with the HDMI output and so far, the picture has been nice and clear and I’ve experienced no drops in signal.

    It also has a RJ45 port, capable of 1000Mbps, so it’s great if you have a weak WiFi signal and want to hook it straight up to your modem/router for faster speeds.

    There’s also a 100W USB-C for charging and 3 USB-A slots too.

    All in all, it’s a good dock that will do the job.

    I hope you found this review helpful.

    A handy dock.
