First, heads up, it comes wrapped in a clear plastic that if you did t notice it, could insulate the sides of the unit from the sides of the socket. I’m not sure why they chose to ship it with that plastic. I actually pulled a different model from the same manufacturer that still had the plastic on it. I think I’m lucky it worked.
Second, and this might not be the case for everyone, I had trouble getting this to work with my Apple iPhone MagSafe charger. I just happened to flip the cable around and it worked. I don’t think usb c should have orientation on the sockets, so perhaps this is a design flaw. Regardless, if your cable isn’t working, try rotating the plug 180 and try again!
It is indeed a very fast charger and should be flash with your cars socket.
However, there are design flaws in my opinion.
The light is blinding bright as the pictures suggest, which can only be annoying in a dark car. I am looking at a way to cover it honestly.
The hook/flap should be the same color to make it blend. Having a different color for the flap defeats the purpose of it being hidden and it makes the device look tacky.
fit flush so it look like it came with your car, easy to remove, fast charging, great build quality
Item in box was not the advertised product. After reaching out, the order was both refunded and replaced. Working properly to fast-charge our phones.
Simple but smart design. The flushness of it makes seamless to the existing trim in the car. The two different ports allows me to support a greater range of items. The fold away clip makes it easy to remove but not in the way. I really like it. A must if your vehicle does not have enough USB ports.
This is really fast charger, but use good quality cable to charge your phone fast. Poor quality cables could be slower. On my Samsung Z fold 3 I have sign Super Fast Charger connected.
I put one of these in the front and one in the back of my 2019 Silverado. They charge fast, stay in the socket tight, and allow the little dust cover to shut over them when not in use. Exactly what I was looking for.
Sadly I was expecting this to be able to quick charge and use power delivery simultaneously but I’d does not, however the company contacted me directly and made good on a bad item, for that I’ve given them a 4 star vs 1 star.
Charges phone quickly also just gotta mix it with a fast charging cable
This feels like it is made of high quality material, and I use it everyday in my car to charge my phone and its held up quite well. Recommended.
Love this 12v to usb-c adapter. Fits perfectly in my old truck with the cigarette lighter in the pull out ashtray. I can close the pull out ashtray and leave it in place. I’ve got an iPhone my wife uses Samsung phones. Changers both quite effectively. Just make sure you use the correct ports.
Charges fast and can fit behind the cover on my Toyota 4Runner. I highly recommend.
Delivers the power output as advertised, has a true, all metal build, and not only fits into an outlet as a flush mount, it also stays there. No weak springs that allow other, lesser adapters move around and even fall out. Removal is simple with the little embedded finger handle.
Made of good quality materials, provides charging power as stated. Keep in mind it doesn’t stick out at all so if you have spring closing cover on your cigarette port, it will push against cable. Better to use with an open one. It’s a bit expensive but worth the value.
Been looking for a low profile charger that would allow me to super fast charge my Samsung phone yet offer the flexibility of dual charging devices when needed. It does get hot when pumping all that power, so it’s great it’s made out of metal to better cool itself. Once installed it’s barely visible, yet it has a hinge to allow for easy extraction when needed.
I’m glad I got this, because the 2020 or 2021 version was always absurdly loose in the socket. It pulled out halfway and failed to make connection to charge if I even slightly tugged on the usb cable.
This new model doesn’t have this issue. Nice and snug. Ports feel secure. Still slim and sleek. Slightly more wattage but that’s not wven necessary.
Fast charges my Pixel 6 and 7. Have not had any issues. I have charged two at the same time, slows down a little bit, but not by much. Seems to be great for the money.
This little beauty is fast as *cough cough* charges my phone super fast which is extremely helpful! Fits very snug in cig lighter port, is a bit of an effort to get back out though, and the tiny flip out part to help get it out is small and fiddly. But worth it for the speed
A great unit that dies sit flush as advertised
Used on BMW i3s
Does charge my s20 ultra on ultra fast mode but not sure why it fluctuating the power when car is witched off cause error on my phone saying there moisture on usb port. Overall it does do ultra fast charge as it claims
The adapter is so tiny I’m afraid imma lose it.
Needed a charger for the car and this works perfect! I use one port to plug in my magsafe charger and have the extra connected to a lightning cable for passengers.
3 stars because it functions as intended at a basic level, however, it charges slowly. I purchased two different car chargers, both from Ainope, to compare. I honestly would not purchase this one again (PD+QC), as it is disappointing compared to the other one (PD+PD) which was about the same price. I am using both with new fast charging cables that were purchased at the same time
UPDATE (12.28.22): Ainope helped with the concern which made this easier to live with. I was pleasantly surprised to be contacted by customer service to address my concerns. I do like the small profile of their car charging adapters. I am happy and would buy their products again. Good customer service
i tested many competing products. i learned from using this that the flip / remove feature of this makes it the only (and well engineered) product that contemplates most interests for such a product. i am so impressed by products that addresss needs i never would have thought were there, awesome job guys.
Easy to operate and my devises charge very fast. Seems to be a good buy.
It’s charing up my iPhone 13 super fast , you need a USB-C lightning cable what allows the higher wattage to charge . I bought the Anker 641 USB-C lightning cable and it’s a perfect combo .
I can close the latch over this thing. It’s that small. Great, inconspicuous, and the little latch to help you pull it out was ingenious. Worth i
USB-A is a “has-been”. Recent European USB-C is pretty much a writing on the wall for all. This one gives me a dual port access (MagSafe charging mount and wired charging cord) while my radar detector hogs up the second cig lighter. Sits completely flush and clicks securely into place. 20W would have been sufficient for QC but this one comes with a whopping 36W x 2. A total no brainer for the price. Plus it’s metal, not cheap plastic. Surprised this wasn’t on more review.
I use this to charge an iPad and Pixel 6 in my work truck, charges both at full speed, but when I plug one in the other stops charging for a second or so before coming back o
First it does work, and it was fast, on my phone. But this depends on a lot of factors. The charging technology in your phone, and the starting charge level of your battery, all impacts how the process proceeds, and the resulting VA output. 72 watts is a semantical error. This will never happen. The unit itself states if you attempt this mythical 72 watt charge, it will only produce 24 watts max, while using both ports. Since the theoretical max is 36 watts on a single port then the actual max is 36 watts. In practice, you likely will only get 27 watts max, based on what’s plugged in for the vast majority of uses. I have not tried plugging in a laptop, yet, but I will. It seems though, 36 watts might be a little light for that use. We will have to see. My main reason for purchasing this, was it’s size. I will keep it for that and it’s practical charging speed.
Used this throughout my road trip in Ireland. Kept my phone and my fiance’s phone charged the entire duration. Great value and compact!
I love this brand but I hate the design of this particular one. Only bought it for the quality of the product. Wish the design was more like the dual usb lighter plugs.
Excelente, lo instale en un Ford fiesta con salida de 12 V y carga super rpido en un de los conectores en el otro carga normal. Se ve genial en mi Ford porque no se parece que fuera algo sobrepuesto sino parte del mismo Auto.
I saw the photos in the reviews, but when I opened it I was still surprised how small this thing is!
2 ports with PD 30w each (tops), making it a 60w charger.
What else to say?!?!
Fits perfectly flush in any 12v outlet, has a ring to pull it out if you need to, 2 type c connectors that fight tight, ordering more to replace the other ones in my cars
I use this to power my wireless phone charger, the old charger I used did not supply enough power to fast charge my phone wirelessly. It will also fast charge your phone with a wire as well and the 2 ports are perfect if you have a passenger.
Like the title says, it doesn’t charge two things at the highest rate at the same time. I have my wireless charger plugged into it, which works fine, but if I plug my phone into the other outlet it only charges at its second fastest rate unless I unplug my wireless charger. I can plug it back in after the phone starts charging at the superfast rate, but it’s a pain to do that.
it’s very small and fits flush. Haven’t had any overhearing problems and the charging seems to be very fast. Only complaint is that it does wiggle out a little from the socket and you have to push it back in. Not sure how’d you’d fix that though.
This thing works as well as if not better than my original Samsung S20 wall fast charger. The best part is its mobile and I never have a low battery on the road anymore.
I didn’t notice that I bought a used charger. The box was damaged and there were some scratches on the charger, but so far I haven’t had any issues with the charger and charging is fast.
This is a good quality plug for the car. I’ve been using it for a month and it works as advertised. I really like the fact that the plug is very small, and it hides at the car plugs. Very good quality for such a small body.
I had tried other items that just couldn’t push enough power through them. this has more than met my expectations. the fact that it is also low profile means that I can close the cover over the power outlet without having to worry about breaking i
This charger speed charges and looks great. It is USB C, so make sure that is what you want. I saw a few reviews where folks said it was not compatible with there phone… pay attention to what you are buying. It is compatible with all phones, but is a USB C.
AINOPE has become my new, “Go To” for car chargers and cables.
Good value I think.
They are pretty solid, casing made of metal and small.
If you have a newer phone and older AINOPE charger, just be sure to check for compatibility.
I can run my VIOFO A129 DUO 4K dual car camera and Pixel 6 Pro simultaneously on AINOPE chargers.
This has been an issue on other and my previous go to brands.
This is my second choice, only because not everyone has the type c cable and I only use one port. Then either I put in a second charger or my cousin plugs into the stereo head unit, witch is my least favorite thing about a car ride
My car has covers over the power sockets and this allows me to close them as though it wasn’t even there. I rarely do this because something is always plugged into them, but it’s a great feature anyway. I haven’t rated durability because it hasn’t been in use long enough to warrant that. My only current dislike is that although it has a flip out handle for ease of removal, flipping out the handle is NOT easy. It’s a small dislike because the use case for this item is “put it in and leave it in”, so needing a toothpick at removal time won’t be an everyday thing.
