I am so impressed by this tool. So easy to use and the results are very professional looking. I’m using it to make hang tags for products and it works a treat. I would highly recommend it.
Have used on my gazebo to add additional stake points. Grommets to thick so added additional clear plastic ( also strengths the area) very easy to use and gone through with little strength.
Wish I could find a machine with interchangeable grommets!
I have tried other grommet press tools, but this one has a decent mechanical advantage from its design and makes fully closing the grommets easy.
Tool itself seems good quality and I thought was good value
Bought to put some eyelets in my gazebo side panels rather than have the velcro that it comes with to affix it to the frame.
Previously purchased a different kit but the eyelets were smaller and had to use a cutter and a punch to put them on. Consequently they were useless.
So down to the review and have to say I’m very glad that I bought this kit. It really couldn’t be easier. Pop the eyelet onto one side of the tool the flat eyelet to the other place and squeeze. No need to faff around cutting holes and making sure the eyelet is in the exact place where the hole has been made.
It’s just so simple which means I haven’t even got to take the panel down to put eyelets on. Just undo the velcro where eyelet is going and bingo all done..
Once done I just put a small loop bunjie through and attach it to the frame. Can’t be any easier.
So if you’re looking for a decent tool to put eyelets on then this is the one you need.
I really do highly recommend this tool. Don’t waste time and money buying anything else.
I’ve put eyelets in everything… pictures (that I originally wanted it for), canvas… and my partners clothes when he sits still next to me for too long. it’s the best gadget I’ve EVER bought and I buy many gadgets.
For all those folk like me who have bought a gazebo that is not fit for purpose as the Velcro fastenings either rip off or just don’t hold then this is the answer. It works really well and easy to use. I have punched the grommets into the material with no issues and tied with bungee ties used for tents. Problem solved.
The kit I got was very satisfactory, the tool worked the grommets sealed as they should , I have no knowledge or hobby in this area, but the project I had to make inexpensive plastic covers for boat engines , the kit proved very useful. I suspect the grommets will probably rust in time .
This is such a time saver and does an excellent job. Been using the manual one’s for a while which takes way longer. The best part is that you add holes when the tarp is on!

Ideal for putting eyes in a tarp whilst you are fitting it. Miles better than the punch and die kits. Wish I’d seen it years ago.
Does what it says very easy to use and good value
Punches the hole and puts the ring on in one go. Works well through thick material. Definitely better than the last one we tried. Excelle

Had so much fun using this. Sadly I have now run out of things to put eyelets in. It works a treat and so far had no issues at all
Good grommet presser but maybe invest in some more high quality grommets as some of them had trouble forming properly

Bought this to punch through and bind several layers of paper. Does the job very well. A very good tool for the job.
