Nice kit and one of the few plastic tool cases that arrived intact. I don’t usually end up using the case anyway so as long as the pieces and tool are good I’m happy. This is almost a 5 star product based on the weight and ease of use so far.

The tool comes in a nice storage box with enough room for extra tools or spare rivnuts. The tool itself feels sturdy and well built for the price. One advantage of this style of tool where the front is at 90 degrees, compared to the type which is straight-on, is the ability to get into tighter spaces.
The rivnuts which come with it are aluminum. I have used the tool with steel and stainless steel rivnuts with no problems.
For those wondering if this will work for the “plus nuts” which are longer than typical rivnuts, I have used it with M5 plus nuts by unscrewing the back and removing the threaded lock collar (see photo).
Very useful bit if kit. Just wish there were a few more but sizes included.
I’ve been an avid DIYer for decades, but this was new to me. I had to fit gate hinges on to a square section steel bar, and I was worried about the weight pulling the fittings out.
Then I saw this item, and my worries were gone! Simple to use, quick and foolproof.
I can’t recommend this tool highly enough.
I thought this would be no good given the price but i was able to fix a door closer at our local sports centre with this and it inserted the rivnuts with ease
Package arrived with the toolbox damaged probably from postal handling but none of concern. Product feels heavy duty with quality craftsmanship. Toolbox is a plus for organizing hardwares.
So I needed to replace a rivnut on a 2012 Cervelo R3 frame. After drilling it out, this worked well at installing a new nut. One thing to note: practice before you actually use on your project. I found that the faster I pulled the handle, the more uneven the compression, so go slow. Testing first will give you some insight on how it should feel. As an aside, I also coated the rivet with JB Weld Plastic Bonder adhesive to insulate the aluminum rivet from galvanic corrosion and give it more sticking power. So far, so good. Will update if and when it fails. The original rivnut had a slightly wider flange, but I can’t find any that are identical. Again, this worked well.

I have never used this tool before. I practiced on a scrap piece of material first before using it on my bicycle frame to add a screw anchor point. Worked like a charm. The storage case is perfect to hold more bits and pieces.

No tena ni idea de que exista hasta que vi un vdeo de un brico por YouTube. La verdad es que es una gran idea y funciona muy bien. El kit est muy completo, con tuerca de diferentes tamaos. Al principio es un poco lioso porque las roscas van al revs pero una vez hecho la primera vez es muy fcil.
It does the Job the rivet nuts are good quality and the riveter feels very strong. A good purchase.
This is all you need for those casual projects. Mine was for an e-bike conversion to add extra screw points for the battery. Drilled into the frame and installed two rivnuts and the job was done. Easy to use. Good quality. Well priced. Recommended.

This rivet gun was bought to fix the number plate on the car and it worked great as the inside is threaded and you can screw coloured plastic number plate screws into it .
This was about the cheapest option on Amazon and I’m not disappointed at all. It works perfectly and I’ve used a variety of the sizes. Would recommend.
Does exactly what it says it will do. Handy piece of equipment for various jobs.
A good product for DIY. Easy to use and results provide a secure housing for the correct size M type screw.

I used this rivnut gun to put insert on a chassis frame of 2mm thick steel. Did the job perfectly well – the bigger inserts require a bit of effort but thats to be expected. Gun works perfectly.
This kit looks very sturdy, did not get a chance to use it after all as on first place I planned to the material turned out to be too thick. However very nice box to keep it organized till next time. Good value for money.
I’ve no complaints regarding the use of tool, learning to apply the correct pressure for inserts.
