Nice external CD writer and reader. Easy to put together and attach.
Player looks good and easy to connect using USB-C, plus has lots off additional useful ports.
Used to load software as new computer has no cd/dvd drive.
When I connected the drive it would play CD;s but not DVD;s. I contacted the support team who made suggestions which unfortunately did not work. They then advised that they would send me a new drive which arrived 2 days later. This works perfectly. The service was, professional and personal and they sorted out the problem very quickly and very easily. Well done Bunud you have given me excellent service. Happy New Year to everyone at Bunud
Owing to a Laptop crash on my Old laptop that had a drive I lost all my data in Sept 21.
Luckily I had backed up J-Peg discs to reinstall my info & photos .
ONLY problem being my new replacement Laptop has NO Drive .
The BUNUD drive is a godsend that allows me to reload my data .
My DVDdrive arrived quickly and it was simple to setup straight from the box. Excellent value.

Love it, but it’s a bit awkward to use if not at a table. Works perfectly and easy to use.
It’s worth emphasising that this is an expanded hub and only functions by connecting the main lead to a mobile device or PC capable of providing the interaction it requires. I did have hopes of using it in my Ford’s USB port with their so-called Sync screen and buttons to play CDs on the car’s audio system but instead got a message saying “Hub Device – Please Remove”. My home PCs are already well served with Anker brand hubs so It’s fate will now be supporting the limited output sockets on my ageing laptop, which lacks them. Beats having to return it to Amazon.
The product arrived on time. I loaded in my favourite CD and I was listening to music within a few minutes. It does exactly as it says in the description.

I needed something portable and multi-functional, this fits the description. I particularly like the fact that the cable tucks away underneath the device, so less chance of losing them!

Super pleased with this external cd drive. I had previously bought other brands as I wanted to burn some music onto a CD. The other ones I bought didn’t work with my MacBook Air which was extremely annoying. However, this one actually works! It has a separate USB C connecter which you can plug straight into the MacBook. I used it with iTunes to burn the music and it doesn’t take long at all, less than a minute or two for the CD to be made. Brilliant, thank you!
it does the job and the extra features makes it vlue for money
No set up, drivers or anything like that. Just plug in the USB to my laptop and off it goes, playing my own recorded, home video dvd’s and also to rip them to MP4 onto my laptop, so I can chare with family, over my Google drive. This is/was my main job I wanted it for and it’s aced it. Not used the SD card slots etc, but up to now it’s a 10/10.
It’s a means of using memory sticks and DVDs and CDs on an iMac Monterrey

I bought Bunud 5 in1 external CD/DVD drive on 07/09/22 and found this very compatible and easy to use on my Laptop, recommend as good value of money.
I was concerned that this wouldn’t be compatible with Windows 11. At first I thought this was indeed the case as the free downloaded media player I had already installed did not recognise it to play DVDs although CDs were fine, but then, after reading the instructions, I downloaded VLC as suggested and it was recognised immediately. Love that it also has ST and TF slots so I can view my older photos. Very happy with this purchase.
I wanted to use CD roms etc on my new MacBook Air. It was easy to use. The only slight problem I had initially was loading the CD. You have to be careful to engage the disk in the tray as it looks like it would break easily if you don’t hold the tray carefully whilst pushing it down. You do need a converter for the new MacBook as there is no old USB slot but I bought one with the computer for using a microphone and attaching a digital recorder so the adaptor works for everything with a USB connector.
Bought this to use with my new notebook which has no optical drive so that I can decommission my old laptop which I’ve still been using to rip CDs to my server.
I’ve read stories about people struggling to get optical drives recognised in Windows 11 but no such problems here. Connected it to the USB 3 socket on my notebook and it was recognised and playing CDs in no time at all. The real test will be when using EAC to rip the CDs arriving tomorrow,, but so far so good.
This kit will only read a DVD when its on its side, does not worry me, but it could be a problem for others.
Very pleased with purchase at present, plugged in and ripped and burned CD, I’m old school and still experimenting .Solid casing not plastic
