Molto soddisfatto dell’acquisto, il montaggio sono riuscito a farlo anche se non sono proprio pratico ma seguendo i vari video su youtube non c’ pericolo di sbagliare. Ora la cosa pi difficile sar abituarsi ma consiglio a tutti l’acquisto se non si vogliono spendere oltre 250 per i vari pad “professionali”
It took me about 2 and a half hours to put together with troubleshooting. I must say that your controller is way more durable than you think when taking it apart and don’t be afraid to fold or push on the wires and circuit board.
The actual buttons take up a good portion of the back of the controller, so if you have large hands you might accidentally push the paddles, but you can just turn on the re-map setting to disable the buttons if you don’t need them for some games.
Assez simple monter si on ne dsire pas mapper R3,L3 et le pad. Bien regarder la vido tuto une premire fois, a fait gagner du temps par la suite. Je pense essayer une version mtal pour ma 2eme manette
Devo dire che mi aspettavo un assemblaggio pi difficoltoso, con l’aiuto di un tutorial su YT diventa un’operazione discretamente semplice considerando l’assenza di istruzioni nella scatola! Il prodotto buono e ben fatto, per me anche molto utile su Warzone per non togliere il dito dalla levetta destra. Purtroppo il montaggio preclude qualsiasi possibilit di spostare i tasti su altro pad e spendere altri 45 euro per installarlo su un secondo pad veramente follia. Dovrebbero inventarsi qualcosa, o dimezzare il prezzo o farlo rimovibile su altro controller. Per il resto sembra acquisto top, speriamo duri nel tempo!
[PS5 BDM-020] Articolo arrivato entro i tempi prestabiliti ed in perfette condizioni, come in descrizione.
Tolto questo, posso dire che il montaggio non stato troppo difficile seguendo la videoguida ufficiale, serve un po di pazienza ma ce la si fa, e attualmente funziona egregiamente.
N.B. Non ho effettuato la parte di saldatura sia perch richiede un po pi di attenzione e pi che altro l’attrezzatura giusta (che non ho), sia perch per le mie esigenze non strettamente necessaria (serve per poter programmare il TouchPad ed L3 ed R3).
Spero duri anche a lungo termine, ma per ora ne sono rimasto soddisfatto!
Dispositivo perfetto,molto utile per chi gioca agli fps,i tasti aggiuntivi si raggiungono in modo perfetto,dopo 4/5 partite inizierete a farci bene la mano. Le plastiche ed il materiale sono ottimi.Io nel montaggio ho saldato,ma pu essere montato anche senza saldare niente se non si ha dimestichezza con questo tipo di lavoro,seguite bene le istruzioni per il montaggio,fate molta attenzione al modello del pad che avete.

Only have to solder if you would like to remap touchpad or L3 and R3 I chose not to do these options I have no need for remapping them and total install was about 7 screws and 15-20 minutes taking the extra time to carefully disassemble the controller
Mapping is very easy and can be done in seconds full mapping of buttons and triggers just by holding buttons at the same time
This is a very good deal and I will be buying more in the future
The color is very very close and I am satisfied with the match even on the purple color
Only downside is it does not sit on the razor charging stand *** this is subjective

Falls man Ltet und darin eher ein Laie ist, das Kit ist nicht so einfach zu installieren. Die Ltpunkte sind zwar RELATIV gro, jedoch fr jemand der nicht fter ltet werden sie sehr klein erscheinen. Es ist dennoch mglich erfordert habe erhhte Vorsicht.
Kurz:
Die Metall Paddels kann ich auf jedenfall empfehlen. Sie suggerieren ein gutes Gefhl in den Hnden und die Inputs reagieren schnell

Der Rest, also alles ohne Lten ist definitiv selbst fr Laien machbar, solange man die Technologie vorsichtig behandelt. Dabei hilft das yt-Tutorial sehr (!!Achtung bei meinem BDM20 Controller, waren optisch andere Flex Kabel montiert und das Flex untern Touchpad war angeklebt, statt wie die anderen reingesteckt!!).
Nun zu den Paddles:
Ich kann hier nur von den Metall Paddles sprechen und diese wrde ich auch empfehlen. Sie erscheinen sehr stabil (Metall halt) und haben ein erhhtes Gewicht, welches meiner Meinung ein Gefhl der Hochwertigkeit assoziiert.
Der Controller ist liegt trotz des Umbaus sehr gut in der Hand und die Paddles bertragen das Signal recht schnell, sind aber auch nicht zu leicht zu drcken (gut da man nicht unntig ein Paddle drckt). Die mitgelieferte Rckseite hat eine hnliche Qualitt wie das Original und der gummierte Griff gefllt mir sehr.
Der kleine Nachteil ist: Den Controller kann man zwar noch Laden jedoch passt die Hlle (ich nehme mal an durch die extra Technologie) nicht mehr perfekt, wenn man anscheinend nicht ordentlich genug arbeitet:
Jedoch ist in meinem Fall die Verschiebung so gering das dies nicht all zu sehr auffllt.

Essendo io uno di quelli che non capace a cambiare manco una lampadina mi sono fatto aiutare da “ammiozio”, quello bravo con la roba elettronica e che aggiusta le stufette e gli aspirapolveri per i parenti (sant’uomo) e che aggiustava gli aeroplani (non sto scherzando) prima della pensione. Diciamo che non si mai intoppato ma ha ammesso che non era una ca@@ata come gli avevo detto io

Easy to install. I taped with electrical tape instead of cutting (because I have different models of dualsense).
Care is needed, but if you can stick two lego bricks together and undo a screw then you can do this! (take photos of each step for reference just in case)
I did not solder – I only need the plug-in functions.
Blue Gripy is grippy and blue. The rubber grips are integrated with the shell, so no peeling edges like the stick-on ones. They don’t make my hands smell like rubber either, which is a plus!
They feel robust, all the haptics still work. Best value back-button option I’ve seen.
Only negatives are 1 it’s easy to press them by accident (especially passing the pad back and forth). You can mitigate by making the triggers stiffer or dampen the action – lots of tips online but I left mine stock and just be more careful. 2 doesn’t fit the official dock. I knew this in advance, it’s still a shame.
While I love the modded controller I’ve built with this kit the install is not simple.
The included instructions are a diagram for trimming the connectors and the web address for a YouTube video. The official video isn’t good but there are better ones you can find.
The end result is a great controller, there’s a learning curve to get used to the new rear buttons but I got through that fairly quickly.
Installation was easy enough, and the paddles work very well.
There’s a very good tutorial from a youtuber called “I’m a caveman”.
Simply put, I wouldn’t have purchased this product without finding his extremely well thought of tutorial. He deserves more royalties or something.
The tension in the buttons isn’t enough is my only quarrel. I would love to be sent a harder clicking button set if it exists as I accidentally click the right paddle a fair bit due to the small amount of pressure needed to activate it.
Cheers tho, saved alot of money considering a scuf costs well over 220 for the same thing
If you want a SCUF controller without forking out the ridiculous prices, go for this.
Took a while to install, but there is plenty of online video tutorials.
Bought 4 of these in the last 2 months. 3 for the playstation and one for Xbox. Only reason I gave it 3 stars for installation is because if you want to have the touchpad and l3 and r3 there’s a bit of soldering involved and you basically have to take the whole pad appart. If you only want the triggers and normal buttons remapped it’s a 5 for installation as it’s pretty straight forward. Love the products extremerate dose and will definitely continue using them.
I have very minor soldering skills but was still able to solder the wires for L3 and R3. I suggest watching the video completely 1st, then doing the installation. The entire installation took less than an hour and the controller works perfectly! I know have running and jumping programed to the paddles making Destiny 2 and most other 1st person shooters easier to play. Would HIGHLY recommend getting this!
Saw this after I considered spending 100+ on a pro controller for the back paddles/buttons.
Seemed a little daunting at first when I watched the video before buying it. However, once I had everything in front of me it was a lot easier than expected. Video tutorial was great, everything fit perfectly, parts seem a quality material.
Only thing I would say is that it gets a bit fiddly putting one or 2 cable back in, but I just used the tools provided for some additional leverage.

The product came with a little bit of an issue, but the customer service email responded quickly . And had the issue solved. I would say the product is guaranteed.
if your going to fit the Rise2 or Rise4 back button kit you might want to install the eXtremeRate hair trigger kit at the same time as as your going to strip the pad down for both… takes about an hour to install (taking your time) this is the same time with or without both hair triggers kit and Rise kit…
my personal recomendation is to cut rumble motor wires and remove rumble motors (which are stuck in with adheseive tape) reducing pad weight, and cut wires for haptic trigger motors (if fitting hair trigger)…
probably done if you have a spare dualsense pad you dont mind loosing if you do the install wrong… can be fiddly to do install, but well worth the effort… not for the faint hearted.. suggest you watch install videos several times before purchase to help decide if your up to the installations

Bit of a pig to fit, with me having to take the controller apart repeatedly to get it working. The bit on the back that holds the paddles is too close to the base of the controller so the paddles couldn’t possibly move, I had to put a small piece of plastic under the base plate to give them room to move.
Eveyrhink u need is in the box , and after installing it is like a Scuf but for half the price
Provides the exact back paddle features that the expensive brands like SCUF offer, but at a fraction of the price. Maybe not as easy to click as the more expensive brands but still works fine and does the job as intended. Watched an installation tutorial video on YouTube and the process was much simpler than I thought it would be. Would highly recommend these if you are looking for that competitive edge in FPS games without breaking the bank.
Build quality of the components seems to be good for most of the components
Had to return to for a refund as parts are missing
UPDATE – Before returning to Amazon I contacted the manufacturer via their website and explained I was missing parts, after sending them the requested photo of what I received the replacement parts were shipped to me at no cost to myself. Very good customer service. Will be ordering another soon for my second controller.

Obviously stick drift is a massive issue so I replace my controller every 6 months and because of how easy it is to take out I reuse it for my new controller and sell the old one on eBay
Again another excellent product from extremerate easy to do your self. I will be trying out these other products and I will let all of you know if they are excellent or rubbish watch this space.

Was, as most reviewers say, a little nervous going into this but found a very useful video on YouTube and the guy walked me through everything. I was only remapping the X and O buttons so didn’t need to worry about soldering( you only solder for the R3 and L3 buttons).
Easy enough to go through even though I was convinced at a certain point I’d have to reopen it to fix something but all worked out well first time round, thankfully!
Still need time to get used to having back buttons(I have the 4 buttons attachment) but can already see a bit of improvement in the short time I have played.
Once installed and everything is attached it is surprisingly sturdy. One tip I would give is if you feel one of the buttons K1 or K2 isn’t clicking properly as if it’s stiff you will need to take off the top part of the K3 and K4 attachment and screw the little chip board down tighter.
Overall great investment and would highly recommend!
Directions were on the net, not easy but not too hard to follow! A good product, like a DIY Scuf but not quite as good! Better instructions would be good!
So following the online step by step video, this was super easy to install and works a treat! The textured back is worthwhile too
It can always be a bit daunting when taking apart official controllers… this came with everything needed and I was extremely impressed with the kit! There was a video online which was really easy to follow along with and get the kit installed. I wasn’t personally looking for the touch pad click or L3 and R3 controls, which meant no soldering at all.
Reason for me to upgrade to this was that I was fed up of using ‘the claw’ grip when running in elden ring and with this install it makes life sooo much easier and more comfortable, only thing which wasn’t perfect for me, (and was more personal preference), I went for the rubberized grip but did find it a bit ‘nobbly’, but fits the hand as well as the original pad, my partner however prefers this to the original. Material is high quality and easy to program once you know how, (follow the install video again for easy guide) Very happy with my purchase, the kit in general and have played with it for over 100 hours now and still looks brand new. 100% would purchase agai
Easy to install, dropped the controller 4 times already and thought it’d break each time but it’s holding up well. I’m 2 months in with it, had to get used to not pressing the back 2 buttons by mistake, don’t really use k3 k4 plus seems like it would be hard to anyways. Amazing product.
This is a great product, however I personally couldn’t get used to it, the back plate with the paddles is just too big and sticks out too much for me to comfortably grip the controller. It is easy to install (didn’t do the soldering part) and it was easy to disassemble after I decided it wasn’t working for me.
Fairly easy to install with basic electrical and assembly knowledge. I bought the PS4 version a few years back and this ps5 version is far better and of superior quality.
Overall a 5 star product when considering how much a professionally made fps modified controller costs.
There was nothing technically wrong with this product hence me not asking for a refund but the back box of this is a little thick.
By this I mean that imagine putting something inbetween your PS5 pad and your middle fingers. What it does is create a slight but noticible change of angle on your wrists and for me personally changed me from playing like a demon, to playing like a bot. I just couldnt get used to it.
It’s the weirdest feeling ever, but I’m just going to give it to my friend and see how they get on with it.
Installation was very easy.
Maybe a note for the designer for next time to make it a lot more flush to the PS5 pad, as it would make a world of difference.
All in all. Very good item. Just not for me.
I really like the paddles, they where really easy to install. My main issue is that the k1 and k2 buttons are a little too sensitive imo. Decided to remove them and just use the 2 paddles as the other 2 buttons are way too sensitive.
Installation was easy, however I have disassembled controllers before to clean up joysticks, so not a beginner. Installation took about 20minutes and I followed craigs instruction on YT. Grip itself is non slippy – extremely non slippy I would say. K1 and K2 buttons are easy to press and use. K3 and K4 are a bit harder to get used to, but that would be because I only used official sony ps4 attachememt. Ergonomically, I like button placement more in this than in ps4 attacheme
Love the extremerate mod for the PS5 controller. Easy to install when following the tutorial. I will be getting another for my 2nd controller. Wish I had found them sooner.
Took a couple of hours and a bit fiddly but it was well worth the build. Quite fun to install and they look and feel somewhat great, just need to get used to how the paddles align with your fingers like other reviewers have stated
This is great add on for your PS 5 controller. It makes you normal controller into premium pro controller. But, I would only recommend it for people have DIY skills. The installation is not easy and made it worse, there is no instructions in box. There are YouTube video. Only after watching the video, I found out it requires iron soiling to board to connect L3,R3 and touchpad. I don’t have it so I have to bypass those tree buttons. After that, it was not too bad.

Have used extreme rage products on both ps4 and ps5 and all has been well.
Easy to install along with the hair triggers this is the 4th one I’ve done now I love their products
I remapped mine without soldering as all I needed was the action buttons (square, triangle etc)
My advice is watch the whole video so that you can see the parts you need to skip yourself, there is one cable you need to clip on on the front of the board that sticks to the battery.
For me I also didn’t need to swap the cable for the Dpad buttons, only on the action button side..
So really I added 1 cable . Swapped 1 cable . Added the new back and done..
If I did it a second time It would take me 10 minutes MAX.

This mod is good and works perfectly, except, for me at least, the K3 K4 buttons are in a very awkward position and pressing them doesnt feel as natural as the paddles.
I was using the metal 2 paddle version and it feels great. I hope this rise 4 mod gets the same treatment soon.
After using a 2 button kit, when I saw this on social media, I had to get it. Swapping out the parts was a simple and direct swap. Now I have to get use to having 2 extra buttons. Though the K3/K4 buttons is usually where I place my finger to support gripping the controller when I use.
