It’s my 1st pair of FATES TEX Waterproof trainers I’ve had them only 24 hours, and I think the design is good, the fitting is good , the comfort is good except I feel a hard spot under the ball of the ankle but it’s nothing that some extra comfort gel inner soles won’t fix, I have not had chance to get them wet yet so can’t comment on its water resistance as of yet! I purchased this pair for just under 49 . Then later seen a pair for 30 on an ad from a different site, I’m unsure if it was the same brand but they looked very similar. I will make another review about the durability of these trainers in the future but first impressions I would recommend them.
Not the best waterproof shoe but definitely not the worst.
I have a deformed foot, so was trying to find something to fit.
I usually have to buy two pairs and add insole to my bad foot to make it comfortable to walk.
That’s why I couldn’t buy your trainers.
Value for money. True to size. Comfort mid range, sore on soles of fit after a while wearing them
Pretty good, little heavier than I’m use to, but so far my feet are staying dry through the wet grass etc.
Use for gentle jogging. Found them comfortable and kind to knees.
Ordered these for our 14-year-old and although took a bit longer to arrive, they are very good. Fitted him perfectly and they appear to be very comfy. He has said that they are not comfortable for running in for any distance, but okay for casual wear and gentle jogs. Inadvertently misjudged the incoming tide at the weekend resulting in the wave coming over his foot, but they stayed dry.
Bought these for my grandson, he loves everything about them, stylish, comfortable, waterproof and non slip.
Just wish they did this exact style in womens sizes as I would buy myself a pair.
These shoes are ideal for me as I do around 10,000.00 per day. They are comfortable and hard wearing in all weathers for the price it would be hard to find better.

I didn’t know what to expect with these, as I’d never heard of the brand before, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised.
They were comfortable right from the first wearing, and they are as waterproof as is claimed. They are ideal for autmun walks, and will be getting plenty of use.
One drawback is that the design of the sole lends itself to the accumulation of debris, but, because the waterproofing is so good, they can just be stuck under a hose or tap, and they’re as good as new again.

These are really comfortable walking shoes, not that I tend to use them for walking. Just everyday use really. They do have a certain attractiveness, although they do have an unusual design what with the gaps in the soul and the almost “knitted” exterior. I wouldn’t wear them in the wet or the cold but they are fine for everyday use in the spring, summer and dry autumn days.
Very good really comfortable shoes. The sole is very good dont no about jurability yet but definitely water proof. Will review about the sole after a few months . Shoe’s have not hold up on being water proof . Have started to let in water and had to spray repellent on them . But very comfortable.

I don’t normally do reviews, but these are fantastic. I’m a dog walker, it’s September, the grass is wet all the time. These have kept my feet dry 100%, very comfortable, lightweight, breathable, just a fab pair of waterproof trainers! These will do until it’s “wellie-time”. Definitely would buy these again.

I have never before paid less than 150 for brand trainers however, I am shocked how nice these are,, they are not too light, well made more comfortable than any I have worn before and will be buying more pairs while they are available
The first thing you notice when receiving these shoes are they are not boxed like a normal new pair of shoes but they are sealed in plastic. Therefore for gifting they may not be as appealing.
The shoe itself is lightweight and comfortable to wear for long periods. The cushioned sole provides protection to the foot when walking and is a little bouncy. They fit well and are true to size.
They are not fully waterproof but are to a point. They are ok for light rain and small puddles but not a long time in a heavy rain.
Great product so far. Haven’t tested them in water or rain but appear to be good quality. I would advise anyone to choose a size bigger than normal as they are tight feeling and to allow for thicker socks etc during winter weather when most likely to be worn more.
These came in a thin plastic bag with no other packaging, they would make a great gift but will need further wrapping first.
First impressions, I love the colour, I had the green for a change and they look simply superb.
I am a 9.5 in regular shoes, I can wear 9’s but find they take ages to break in and 10’s are comfortable when new but too loose when they are more worn.
So I ordered the 9.5 and they are a near perfect fit right from the get go.
The soles are really unusual, they are more like a framework of girders with a mechanism that makes them work a bit like an open spring, they certainly add a bounce to your step just as good as any Dr Martens sole does. With the sole being open I can see that any water mud or anything else will easily disburse in use or you could simply turn a hose on them to flush anything out easily.
They are probably the coolest pair of trainers I own at the moment!
The price was just under <50 (at the time of review) which looks good value to me considering the build quality and comfort level, the waterproofing is just a bonus!

This is a waterproof pair of size 11 trainers in black. My partners preferred style is slip on for quickness so he was delighted with the no tie laces, they look good but are easy to get on and off.
The style is very fashionable, these ones are all black, with some really nice detailing and the shape is very modern with the angled heel. These are ideal for sports and gym but also for walking as they’re very supportive, waterproof and don’t slip when my partner walks.
Very comfortable and look great too, would recommend.
hes are one of the most comfortable shoes ive worn in a long time. ive never worn shoes where the bottom looks like suspension. i was a bit unsure when i saw them but once i walked around in the i found them to be so comfortable and i wear them all the time now
I got these trainers for my partner in the light grey colour. He absolutely loved them and described them to be very comfortable to wear. The trainers look very stylish and willl go with a wide range of outfits.
They are perfect for walking or for a run or even for wearing everyday. They are waterproof which is perfect to wear them in the British weather.
The trainers have a nice support on the heel area and provide a good support on the foot arch. They come in lots of different colours and range from 6.5 UK size all the way up to 12. They would make a wonderful present for anyone’s birthday or as a Christmas gift or as a treat for yourself.
They’re currently priced at 48.99 which I think is quite reasonably priced considering their quality and their look. I would definitely recommend them.
These trainers are lightweight and the range of colour options will pair nicely with most active wear.
These are also great for keeping by the front door, as they’ll look good with anything on days when you’re running errands, dogwalking etc. The fact that they’re waterproof makes them doubly great for errands and dogwalking.
These trainers are comfortable and sleek the styling is very nice you can feel the grooves these have on the inside of them, and it feels great. They are very comfortable, and the bottom of the shoe has a nice space which provides a nice suspension action when you are running, and your foot touches the ground with force you feel the springy force that cushions your foots landing. The shoe is also water resistant and allows comfortable airflow in and out while keeping the water outside the shoe.
I was hoping that these would fit my daughter or husband, being an 11, but unfortunately the sizing was a little small.
The trainers are available in sizes from 6.5 to 12, and come in a really wide range of colours, black, grey, white, blue, yellow, and green, as well as a couple of colours with snowflake flecks!
They don’t come boxed, which saves on packaging but then they are not really giftable, fine if purchasing for yourself though.
They are comfortable to wear and look really great.
Price wise they are a little more expensive than I would normally pay online for shoes. but not unreasonably priced.
They have a level of waterproofing and an anti slip textured bottom.
Overall pretty good, but go at least a 1/2 size up for a comfortable fit.
These are comfy trainers. They fit well, are squishy and spongey and feel light and supportive when you walk.
I got the bright yellow and i love them, really stand out and lots of people have asked me where i got them from.
Fits very well and fits the foot perfectly. Based on past experience, I always choose a size 0.5-1 larger when I buy shoes on Amazon. I’m glad I chose the right size this time. You do have to buy a larger size.
They are like regular sneakers, the shoes don’t stuff your feet, and the breathability isn’t bad. TPU soles are non-slip on high street ground, they have good toughness and softness.
They will be a little heavier than sneakers, but they are supportive and comfortable.
Their packaging is very simple, just a plastic bag.
They are made from strong and durable material. They have big holes at the bottom. It looks beautiful but dirt can go in them. They are easy to clean. They are very comfortable to wear outside in winter. They are very warm.
Very comfortable and fit according to size+ 1/2 to allow for walking socks.
Nice and bouncy is use, the suspension is open to air, so it works very weel; but avoid mud!
It will fill the open spaces and turn these into clomping clogs.
Meanwhile, they feel great on hard surfaces, literally walking on air.
These are the 6.5UK size trainers European size 40 .
I’m usually a 6 when it comes to walking boots and a 5 or 5.5 for shoes and light trainers. so I chose the 6.5 .
The fit is perfect (good space for toe wiggle but not so big that feet slide forwards and back),so size these as though you are buying walking boots (usually at least 1 size larger than normal shoes).
They are waterproof (tested in the shower)as the water beads off and does not penetrate where it sits on top of the toe box.
So providing the water depth is not past the lace holes, your feet won’t get wet in them.
They are really comfortable as the collar part is well padded and they can lace tight enough to give good support to the sides and top of my feet.
They feel to be a normal gait not over or under pronation adjusted .
They have round laces which I always find come undone and so you need to be sure and tie the first bow then pass one loop under th knot before tying a second which should anchor them.
The sole is well shaped and has a reasonable amount of flex to it without being too stiff or too floppy.
I really like these , they are light (though not the lightest walking shoes I ever picked up, they are considerably lighter than my leather walking boots) and supportive and comfortable.

Funky detailing to the soles -although not sure how practical that will be with getting wet mud or stones stuck in the spaces under the sole – only time will tell
My son is wearing them as trainers rather than walking boots as we already have a super pair of walking boots for him so cannot comment on hiking experiences with them but general wearing when going out and about they have been great
* Quite a clumpy heavy trainer – they are not really light weight but my son doesn’t mind he just happened to comment they are weighty

These are quite wide fitting, have a comfortable inner sole and an outer sole that flex’s and gives to absorb foot strike.
I was surprised at how heavy they were, heavier than the big names who make this style but not as heavy as walking boots.
They are comfortable, fine to wear in the rain and go with a gym kit and jeans alike.
I normally take a 9 but I ordered 9.5 due to past experience. Glad I did because these only just fit. 10 might have been better. Look good and are very comfortable. 50% discount at the time of writing bringing them down to 24 is a very good price.
Really comfortable. Superb fit and keep your foot nicely wrapped without leaving too much space. Good strong laces and the sole is springy, which makes walking in them a joy. Only criticism would be the poor packaging that they came in, which was literally a piece of shrink wrapped plastic.
Note: The do not come in a shoe box but are instead plastic wrapped.
The design is pretty neat, with a understated design which has certain flashes like the diamonds on the side at closer expectation but easily fade when viewed at a distance. I also like how the colour is constant throughout the design too, I feel this works really well.
They are both lightweight and pretty practically designed, with a comfortable sole and well sized heel. It works well as a walking trainer as it adapts to most ground and weather. Can also come with you most places as they’re light enough to not notice them in your packaging.
I have to agree with the reviews here that point out how difficult is it to get your foot into these trainers, but it’s not such a big issue for me. Undoubtedly, it’s cheaper to produce trainers that don’t have a tongue, where the top is all of one piece, but it means that there is a very small and tight gap to get your foot in. I found it gets a little easier after wearing them a couple of times, and there is a pull tab at the back that gives you more of a grip.
The trainers are very comfortable to wear, with good flexibility and grip for walking and training use. The fit is good and comfortable if you select the right size. I normally wear 10.5, but as there are no half-sizes I went for 11 and that is a very neat fit. A comfortable fit, but not a lot of room. They look a little ‘chunky’ but are actually very light.
They are waterproof, but as they are fabric uppers, they are less breathable and your feet do heat up quickly in them. Come the colder, wetter weather, I will be very glad of this! For the price, these are decent trainers. They are not cheap looking, but actually good quality, and come at a reasonable price.
