his is brilliant for after muddy walks, providing a dry clean mat to stand on while changing boots and then we just pop the boots inside to keep the car clean until we get home, hose it off, dry and then its ready for the next adventure.
My daughter goes for swimming lessons, with a swimming club that hires out a local school’s swimming pool on a weekend for group lessons. By the time she attends late afternoon there have been dozens of kids that have passed through the changing room and it can be a mess with a dirty floor.
It can be difficult trying to get her dried and dressed without getting her feet etc dirty. We were using a towel on the floor before but that wasn’t the best solution. This mat/bag has been quite handy and is used every week now. We don’t live near a beach but will be taking it with us next time we go away.
This is a brilliant invention, why have I never had one before! The changing room floors at our local pool are always pretty gross and having this to stand on, then chuck our wet swimming stuff in, is an absolute game changer!
We’ve not even had a chance to take it to the beach yet (it’s late autumn so not the conditions for us fair-weather swimmers!) but I can already see how great it’s going to be for that.

What an ingenious idea this Fatstick waterproof changing mat is. Ideal for keeping one’s feet and clothing off the floor. Plenty big enough and great for the beach, shoreline, grass, surfing, swimming, boarding and so on. Can see it would be useful in land sports too like on the sidelines for football, rugby and so on.
The pull strings feel very sturdy and so do the handles. This is great quality and the storage pouch makes it look like a higher end item.

This is a useful changing bag/mat that will be ideal for the beach or cold water swimmers as you an get changed, leave your wet clothes in the base and pull up the drawstring to keep the wet clothes together.Alternatively it cold be used on the beach to get changed and keep your feet clean.
It looks good quality and will be very handy.
This is a cool way of carrying the kids wet suits down to the beach and works fantastically when they finish off and need to get changed. It means I can dry off feet and then step on to this to keep them from getting sandy again. Once all dressed then it packs up the wet wetsuits really well yo enable easy carrying. It’s excellent quality and is a cool design. We live in South West Cornwall and this will be fantastic for beach trips. It’ll get loads of use and I can tell it will last from the quality of it.
This bag come changing mat is brilliant. I hate sand with a passion and this is going to change my life when it comes to going to the beach, but given that it is currently winter we will use it when we go to the pool for now. It’s such a clever idea that is really well thought out and it’s made using quality material. I love that I can use it to put clothes and/or towels in and then use it to keep my feet dry after my shower so I don’t end up with soggy socks from the wet floor, but then I can put my wet costume and towel in it and they are kept secure and they will not get anything else wet as this is fully waterproof. This has to be a must for almost everyone who does anything that involves getting wet. Brilliant idea.
Can’t wait to use this with my paddle board! Really easy to use and packs away nicely in to the little bag.
This is the perfect addition to our family surf and swim kit. It folds up really well into the carry pouch and takes up hardly any room.
Changing on sand or wet grass is so much easier with this mat, then you just leave the wet clothes in it and pull the drawstring and everything is enclosed and you can carry it like a bag. I’m going to get a few more.
So happy with this and its perfect to leave in my camper for when I go to the beach. The quality of this product is well thought out even down to the packaging.

This is a very well produced item and of excellent quality. Not only can it be used for getting changed on and then carrying the dirty and wet clothing securely, to deal with later; it can also be used as a mat to put on a sandy beach and sit inside to avoid getting sand stuck to your clothes. Additionally it can be used for changing at an outdoor swimming pool/lido; could be used for carrying some wet clothes out to a washing line or rotary dryer; potentially as a baby changing mat; and there are probably many more applications it could be suitably used for.
The drawstring cords are quite thick which is a good thing.
A (padded) shoulder strap is missing and would be a useful feature to have included. I suppose the drawstring cords could function as shoulder straps.
As a mum, I am always looking for help when it comes to the mess my kids make when outdoors. If there is mud anywhere, they will find it, and if there are any puddles, they are guaranteed to get their clothes wet. This bag is brilliant for this.
I can use it at home when my kids are changing from their swimming costumes, so no more puddles on the living room floor. I am taking it with me when going out in the car, so I can put wet and muddy clothes in it when coming back from a walk in the forest.
This bag is very practical, not only for kids but for adults as well. My partner spends a lot of time on the moors. Now he can put his muddy clothes in it and keep the car clean. It is packed well and is easy to store. It is also easy to clean; just wipe with a cloth and leave to dry. The good quality of the material means that it will hopefully last me for years.
I love this changing mat! I’m a kayaker, paddle boarder and surfer, so have used changing mats before.
This FatStick mat is very compact and lightweight, packing into a really small bag when dry.
At 75cm diameter it’s big enough for the job – to catch your wet clothes so they don’t get covered in sand and keeps your feet clean too if you’ve been wearing wet suit boots or socks.
Once you’re changed, you use the drawstrings to pull the mat up with wet clothes (and sand etc!) securely inside until you’re ready to deal with them at your car or when you get home.
Once you get one of these you’ll wonder why you’d not got one sooner, they’re so handy.

I do like the fact that this converts into a bag as well which is handy for storing my stuff. The carry handle makes it easier to carry and the drawstring keeps my belongings secure inside.
It is made of high-quality waterproof material and is very light, so it is quite portable to carry around with you anywhere.
Overall, a great product which I am delighted with and cannot wait to use! Highly recommended!
I used to have one of these but it didn’t have a skirt round the edges, its ideal, I will use it for mountain biking in winter. You can drop your shoes, shorts jackets, soaked and muddy and then step out of it into clean clothes and then scoop up all the dirty clothes and pull the drawstring tight to enclose them. It’s great for clean freaks who like to keep their cars clean and its great to get home and have all your dirty wet stuff in one bag which can easily be separated into the washing machine or hosed down in the garden along with the actual changing mat. The materials are robust and will last despite standing on it on rough ground most of the time. Recommend.

Great waterproof mat that was originally designed for the beach but i used this on a boiler install today and it was fantastic – it came in so helpful. I would imagine it’d be great for radiator swaps and the like too.
I folds up into a neat and compact bag – can hold lots of stray water and is awesome for plumbing work as well as the beach!
I really think the manufacturers have missed a trick here – this has so many uses and i’ll be using this regularly at work.

What a great idea, a matt to stand on while you take your wetsuit/wet clothes off, that you can just dump in the middle, cinch up the drawcords and keep all your wet stuff together without having to try to cram it into a bag. This also keeps the floor under the matt dry, your feet clean etc etc, and when you take the stuff out you haven’t got a wet bag that you cannot dry the insides of, just open it up again and hang it on the line! It packs up really compact when not in use and is light enough to include in your packing list for all sorts of outdoor activities.
I love this product, can’t wait to use it. It has a great surface area, meaning I can stand off the sand whilst drying off and getting my footwear on. Also, I can carry my wetsuit in it; so it doubles up from a standing mat to a carrying wet bag. Great product and very useful for on the beach.
First time I have seen one of this and I have to say this is unique and clever. The material is good the design as well. From mat to a carry on bag for wet stuff – good idea. The price is not so bad because it is a quality item.
I absolutely love this item! It’s so durable and looks fantastic! I do a lot of beach camping in the warmer months and this is a great item to go in my kit to use to get charged etc…

Nice and lightweight changing mat, 75cm across so good for an adult without being too bit that it flaps over, nice long drawstring once you change, great for mountain biking too – change in the car park, leave all your muddy wet gear in the mat, pull the drawstrings and hold the handles to transport in a wet bag. 16.99 is a good price for a handy piece of kit that is useful for a variety of sports.
