This is the only adaptor you need as a couple going on holiday to Europe. You can get enough of everything plugged in for use and charging at the same time. Great stuff.
I was looking for something that would help me avoid taking a standard adaptor with a n additional 4-way extension as I normally would. This device did what I needed in one compact unit. No complaints.
This travel adapter is great value and it’s so convenient to have USB charging ports built in, reducing the need to bring lots of phone/ipad chargers etc. Tested recently in Iceland and worked really well. An easy recommend.
This is a compact and useful travel adapter for the EU you can plug different dividers in just one, definitely is great for saving space when you travel.
It is working well and looks well made and of good quality to me and I recommend it.
Usually travel with a suitcase full of different adaptors – this have everything I need in one! Sadly I still need all the different cables 🙂
We recently returned from a holiday in Italy and at a few of the hotels we stayed at there were simply not enough plug sockets to charge our phones, tablets, camera, watch, etc. In one hotel there was only one spare socket. Consequently this device would have been a godsend but unfortunately I didn’t see it until we returned. I have used an adapter to allow me to plug it into a UK socket in order to test it. I can confirm it quite happily charged 3 devices at once — tablet, watch and camera.
It seems well made and I am reasonably confident it is safe. If I spot anything else then I will update my review when I next go to mainland Europe but so far so good.
An ideal piece of kit to take with you on a trip to Europe. Its well made, fits nicely into standard European sockets (I have a European extension bar in which I have tested it), and the combination of a 13amp socket and the four USB ports (everything seems to charge via USB these days) makes it quite versatile.
I got this for when the whole family travels back to Greece! We are Greeks originally and whenever we travel back home now, we seem to need countless adapters for all the technology we take with us.
I got this recently and already used it on our later summer vacations. When in Greece, I put it in the kitchen socket (you need to know that life in Greece revolves around the kitchen!) and we myself, my wife and my mother-in-law all used the USB ports to charge our phones simultaneously! We also used the socket to charge my daughter’s tablet. I also used the USB c port once or twice to charge my iphone using the iphone cable.
It works well, it does heat up proportionately to the load, but it’s quite robust and reliable!
I shall be using it for many months if not years to come, hopefully!
Pros:
– Simple, elegant design
– Saves on carrying multiple adapter plugs
– Up to five devices can be used at the same time (one standard UK plug, three USB-As and one USB-C slots)
– Reasonable price (currently 16.99) as it cuts down on number of adapters needed
Cons:
– None noted
Note: not tested abroad on two-pin plug at time of review
I ordered this for my travels. I got frustrated with having to pack so many adapters for so the things I need to charge while I’m away – this has everything I need. The narrow European plug fitting is great for the hotels that only have these sockets, but will fit in all sockets anyway.
AN AMAZON VINE REVIEW MUST BE SUBMITTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIVING THE ITEM.
Unfortunately, that 30 day window doesn’t give me enough time to go abroad and try it properly. So until I do trial properly, all I can say is that it seems to be well made and should prove useful.
This is a neat adaptor for travel use in Europe with its two-pin European plug giving you a three-pin adaptor for British electrical items plus three USB ports and a USB-C port.
It looks well made and is remarkably compact but I can’t test it yet until I travel to Europe. However there is no reason to think this will not operate as expected. It also has a tiny LED light to indicate that the power is on – always a useful feature (is there anything worse than coming back to a device you think you’ve recharged only to find it’s not been switched on at the wall?!).
Great to be able to charge multiple devices from a single power point when there is so often a scarcity of the latter in holiday accommodation, and that includes hotels! I have no doubt this will be well used.
Got this for my daughter who’s going travelling around Europe, seems sturdy enough not to evolve he fits in your case I like the fact that has USB slots as well as the English plug so I guess you could dry your hair as well as charging your phone if needed.
This is a great and handy little plug to take on holidays. Can charge phones, watches etc while still be able to use the hairdryer perfect!
This nifty little travel adaptor is for UK to European use and comes with three USB-A and one USB-C ports as well as the normal three-pin plug socket.
It feels well-made and is nice and compact, and saves having to pack extra USB charger plugs when you’re holidaying on the continent.
The extra USB ports mean I can charge my phone, iPad and Kindle while I’m drying my hair. Neat!
Ordered this for a forthcoming holiday on the continent, so haven’t been able to use yet. The body is as compact as can possibly be in accommodating a 3 pin, 1 usb-c socket and 3 usb-a sockets. What would have been good is if the pins folder into the body to make it even more travel friendly, and also for personal preference 2 of each usb a and c.
Got this for our daughter. Looks well made and it’s really useful to have the extra USB ports on one device. The question with any electrical item like this is safety and durability, so will give an update on that, but for now it looks solidly built, and up to specification. Should deliver around 15 watts, and described as being capable of coping with a hair dryer, so should be good for most basic travel needs, and seems reasonably priced.
