Very pleased, it’s sturdy, doesn’t have a bottom and we have one regular hedgehog that uses it, but also two others. They eat, sleep, then carry on. Our main hedgehog has slept there are few times, but we think he’s just had a barny with his woman lol. We have a dog and cat and neither can get in it either.
It’s very sturdy, the size is fine. It will be cosy and warm, only slight problem is that it would have been better with a floor. No problem really as I found a piece of wood for the base, covered it with straw and it’s very cosy now. I’ve also covered it with leaves only leaving the doorway slightly uncovered.
We noticed a Hedgehog passing through our garden recently, after a few weeks of seeing him, we thought we would get him a house since it was close to hibernation. We placed the house in the corner surrounded by leaves. The first night, he was intrigued by it, but ended up passing through the garden. The second night he decided to move in! Really well made house, sturdy, and clearly the hedgehog likes it!
