This torch is excellent, although I did think it had a larger range of light. Saying that it is great for dog walks in park after dark.

As I am housebound and rely on daily care support I need a reliable, easily accessible emergency light in case of forecasted power cuts. This lamp with its variety of settings fully fits my needs.
My mobility scooter doesn’t have any lights so have attached the torch to the side of the front basket with cable ties!

I found this Item a great boon to my ability to move around my flat at night and also save on my electricity bill. The torch configuration gives a substantial beam. The only problem I have with the unit is the on off switch can be a bit finicky, but it is OK when you get the hang of it. Plus it is excellent value for an excellent product.
I have bought this item should we get any power cuts more than anything. If there is going to be power shortages during the winter months should the lights go off, then at least we will be able to visually see where we are going.
I love my new torch, very bright with handy handle and no batteries to worry about. And oh yes lightweight which is great for my arthritis.
It is very light and powerful, you shouldn’t look directly in the light, it’s perfect for a light in the dark, as this light is on standby if and when the power cuts happen in the UK, it will be very handy in a situation where you have to visit the toilet during a black out. I have one more powerful torch light set right beside me, in case of the same event, just to grab and go, the beam is very bright you should not look directly into the beam.
This torch came half charged and it took a good 5-6 hours to get to full charge, so I would advise charging overnight. The charging wire is about 20cm long and ideally could do with being longer to make charging easier.
The torch is lightweight but sturdy. It feels solid, however, if it were dropped on a hard floor, I’m pretty sure the plastic would break. Some rubber round the edge would make it more smash resistant, but this of course may have an impact on price.
The actual light is very bright and more than adequate for finding your way round in the dark.
Overall, I would say good value for the money.
