The golf net setup was quicker than anticipated and the quality immediately noticeable. Practicing my swing in the backyard has never been more enjoyable or convenient. The net captures and returns the balls effectively, saving time and allowing me to focus more on improving my swing. The inclusion of different targets and accessories adds a lot of value, offering various practice options. It’s held up well against frequent use, showing no signs of wear so far.
As a keen golfer who plays for fun I wanted to avoid embarrassing myself with a dreadful score in front of my mates so I was excited to try out this golf chipping net. The kit includes a foldable net, ground stakes, storage bag, and an instruction manual. The net is well-made and durable enough to withstand my pin-point chips (tongue firmly in cheek)!), plus the frame is lightweight and easily portable. There’s three target squares that I can aim for to improve accuracy, but also side nets which is handy if you’re like me and still brushing up on golf skills! Assembly is easy but there’s definitely a technique to seamlessly taking it apart and tucking everything away neatly in the storage bag. It’s perfect for my back garden and it often comes out when I have friends over for mini competitions. It’s a decent bit of kit that should stand the test of time and at the current price of 23.99, I believe it’s worth the money for anyone looking to sharpen their chipping skills.
Got this to practice my golf shots in the back garden.
This pop up practice net is a neat little thing. It comes in its own carry bag and includes poles to hold it up, ground pegs to hold it down and a 3 hold target practice piece which sticks onto the front using Velcro.
This net is really easy to put up. You simply remove from the bag, pull the straps off and it will pop up vigorously. Be careful here because it really does pop out quick and you don’t want it to catch you in the face! You then put the poles together, stick the target on the front and start practice. Easy.
When you’re done, putting it down is a bit of a challenge. It doesn’t help with the instructions being hard to follow. The images are too dark and the words don’t make any sense. “Pull in and down with one hand and in wit” ????
I recommend you look up a video online about how to collapse this. You have to grab opposite corners and bend backwards then twist the loop down and. I can’t explain it! Try searching for ‘how to fold chipping net’
Overall, I’m happy with this net. It’s handy to take places because of the bag and putting it up is easy. Putting it down is not overly intuitive but once you’ve watched a video and managed to collapse it a few times, you’ll get the hang of it.
This was a gift for a friend although he hasn’t used it yet due to the weather he thought it was a great gift and can’t wait to get out to practice his shots
Update – seller got in touch and sorted issue, much appreciated – eyelet that holds the support rod dropped out and the stitching on the bag is coming undone. I’ve only used the net 2 or 3 times
